All of us, every single man, woman, and child on the face of the Earth were born with the same unalienable rights; to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. And, if the governments of the world can't get that through their thick skulls, then, regime change will be necessary.

Another One Of "Those Things"
Via Gateway Pundit:
After 3 Years, 2 Months & 10 Days – Tea Party Patriots Granted Tax Exempt Status By Phone Call on Eve of Congressional TestimonyThis morning, I stumbled across this in the Wall Street Journal:
After 3 years, 2 months, and 10 days; after thousands of man-hours, after tens of thousands of dollars in legal and accounting fees – the IRS called Jenny Beth Martin of the Tea Party Patriots to inform her that the conservative 501(c)(4) group was given tax-exempt status.
This was just hours before her testimony today before the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee Subcommittee on the IRS targeting scandal....
Connecting the Dots in the IRS Scandal: The 'smoking gun' in the targeting of conservative groups has been hiding in plain sightWorth reading.
The mainstream press has justified its lack of coverage over the Internal Revenue Service targeting of conservative groups because there's been no "smoking gun" tying President Obama to the scandal. This betrays a remarkable, if not willful, failure to understand abuse of power. The political pressure on the IRS to delay or deny tax-exempt status for conservative groups has been obvious to anyone who cares to open his eyes. It did not come from a direct order from the White House, but it didn't have to....

Jihad Watch Wins CPAC Award, Barred From Receiving It
Robert Spencer writes:
I was surprised and honored that Jihad Watch was among the nominees for the People's Choice Blog Award, sponsored by Right Wing News and TheTeaParty.net, to be awarded at the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) 2013.Read the rest HERE.
... Jihad Watch won decisively, getting over 50% of the vote in a field of fifteen....
But as time went by and no announcement was made of this victory, and the voting continued despite my having been told that it officially ended last Friday night and that I had won, and the promised links and other placement promised to the winning blog didn't materialize, I started to wonder. So I contacted the organizer who had written me telling me I won and asked him what was going on.
He told me that there was a slight problem: the Tea Party group, which co-sponsored this People's Choice Blog Award, didn't want to allow me to receive it at CPAC next week unless I promised not to criticize Grover Norquist and Suhail Khan as I accepted the award.
I told the organizer that I couldn't agree to that. He asked me if I had planned to talk about Grover and Suhail. I said no, I hadn't, but I had to now.
So that's that. The People's Choice Blog Award is now the Grover's Choice Blog Award. I will not be going to CPAC and will not be receiving this award.
And since I will not be allowed to receive this award at CPAC, I will talk about Norquist and Khan here....
Pamela Geller has also been shut out of CPAC 2013.
We're back to the 9/10 mindset — and not only inside the Obama administration.
We are witnessing the further marginalization of the anti-jihad movement.
Prepare for the reaping of the whirlwind.

"Conservatism is dead. Liberalism has no answers. What comes next? The rise of ethnopolitics."
White Pride Group Urges Tea Party to Flaunt Its Bigotry
From the Miami New Times:
Is the Tea Party racist? The NAACP thinks so. And the Council of Conservative Citizens, a white pride group, agrees.
The post was written by James Edwards, a radio show host and author of Racism Schmacism. His website, the Political Cesspool, declares as its motto: "Conservatism is dead. Liberalism has no answers. What comes next? The rise of ethnopolitics."
Of course the Tea Party is racist, crowed a blog post on the Council's website yesterday -- and it would be proud of its racism if it weren't wussy.
After the NAACP passed a recent resolution condemning the Tea Party as a bunch of bigots, the ragtag band of would-be American revolutionaries launched into denials. That's because they're week-kneed, lily-livered racists whose instinct is to "bend over and grab their ankles", wrote Edwards, who suggested they connect with their inner-cackling villains:
"Instead of replying with a loud BWAHAHAHA! or a 'Yeah? What's your point?' or 'So what?' or 'Of course we're racists - we're white people. That's what "racist" means' or 'Can any of you race hustlers even spell "racist"?' The Tea Party predictably went into their usual bend over and grab their ankles mode. They protested that oh no, we're not racists at all, we don't tolerate racists at our rallies which are really huge rainbow coalitions."

Attention, trusted IBA colleagues!
Information HERE on the upcoming march on Washington.Any IBA members planning to participate?
As most know, I'm in Northern Virginia, very close to Washington, D.C. Both Mr. AOW and I want to attend, but I don't know (1) if he'll be up to the task and (2) if he's able, how I'll physically push a wheelchair all day long.
Now, I can participate by myself, but I would like some company - with or without Mr. AOW.
My house doesn't offer luxurious accommodations, but I can put up a few guests here - more than a few if they have sleeping bags. My back yard can also function as a camping ground. Seriously.
My email contact information is at my web site, toward the top of the right sidebar.

Since the Racist Tea Party meme has been so easily debunked the left now....
UPDATE FROM ANOTHER WAPO SELF IDENTIFIED LIBERAL BELOW, WHO WAS AT THE TEA PARTY PROTEST ON TAX DAY
E.J. DionneThe tea parties are nothing new. They represent a relatively small minority of Americans on the right end of politics, and will not determine the outcome of the 2010 elections.
In fact, both major parties stand to lose if they accept the laughable notion that this media-created protest movement is the voice of true populism. Democrats will spend their time chasing votes they will never win. Republicans will turn their party into an angry and narrow redoubt with no hope of building a durable majority.
The news media's incessant focus on the tea parties is creating a badly distorted picture of what most Americans think and is warping our policy debates. The New York Times and CBS News thus performed a public service last week with a careful study of just who is in the tea party movement.
A few days ago I said this:Their findings suggest that the Tea Party is essentially the reappearance of an old anti-government far right that has always been with us and accounts for about one-fifth of the country.
Why....., better educated, older, married? Not only is that not a picture of angry bomb throwing inverted bolsheviks, it is a picture of....
AN ELITE?
Make up your mind on the left.
Are we troglodytic untermenschen newly sprung from the CofCC by way of the KKK, or are we pissed off and well off uncaring elitists scared of the ugly unwashed now in power and aggravated we have been forced to leave the 14th hole to bother with all this in order to keep our lazy and selfish lifestyles?
Apparently the pendulum is now swinging towards the 'far right, govt hating, poor and underprivileged despising, children's lunch depriving, 5 handicap rich and priveledged elitist explanation'
Remember what EJ Dionne said. "will not determine the outcome of the 2010 elections."
UPDATE: From Robert McCartney of WaPo-
I went to the "tea party" rally at the Washington Monument on Thursday to check out just how reactionary and potentially violent the movement truly was.
Answer: Not very.
Based on what I saw and heard, tea party members are not seething, ready-to-explode racists, as some liberal commentators have caricatured them.
Although shrinking government is their primary goal, many conceded that the country should keep Medicare and even Social Security. None was clamoring for civil disobedience, much less armed revolt.
"Someone said in the Revolutionary War, they fired bullets. This time, we're firing politicians," said Clinton Lee, 28, a wedding photographer from Tampa wearing a Thomas Jefferson T-shirt.
The rally, estimated in the tens of thousands, also displayed a wacky, irreverent spirit that I found endearingThursday, April 15, 2010
BUSTED! "CrashTheTeaParty" Teacher Under Investigation
Oregon Teacher Panel Probes Educator Determined to 'Demolish' Tea Party
By Jana Winter
- FOXNews.com
A middle school teacher in Oregon who announced his intention "to dismantle and demolish the Tea Party" on his "Crash the Tea Party" Web site is under investigation by his state's Teacher Standards & Practices Commission.
A middle school teacher in Oregon who announced his intention "to dismantle and demolish the Tea Party" on his "Crash the Tea Party" Web site is under investigation by his state's Teacher Standards & Practices Commission.
The investigation by Oregon's teacher licensing agency comes in response to a public outcry over Jason Levin's public statements that he'll do anything short of throwing rocks to bring down the Tea Party.
Levin, the media teacher at Conestoga Middle School in Beaverton, is the leader of a group that says it wants to infiltrate and bring down the loosely organized anti-big-government Tea Party movement.
He has said he would seek to embarrass Tea Partiers by attending their rallies dressed as Adolf Hitler, carrying signs bearing racist, sexist and anti-gay epithets, and acting as offensively as possible — anything short of throwing punches.
His school district is defending his right to free speech, but it's investigating whether he used district computers to spread his political message or worked on his Web site during school hours.
In a recent interview with Talking Points Memo, Levin said of his plans, “Our goal is that whenever a Tea Partier says 'Barack Obama was not born in America,' we're going be right there next to them saying, 'Yeah, in fact he wasn't born on Earth! He's an alien!'"
In a now deleted post on his “Crash the Tea Party” Web site, Levin called on his supporters to collect the Social Security numbers — among other personal identifying information — about as many Tea Party supporters as possible at the numerous rallies scheduled to take place on Thursday – Tax Day.
“Some other thoughts are to ask people at the rally to sign a petition renouncing socialism. See just how much info you can get from these folks (name address, DOB, Social Security #). The more data we can mine from the Tea Partiers, the more mayhem we can cause with it!!!!” he wrote.
The state agency is investigating whether this is a hint at identity theft, and whether it is appropriate behavior for a public school teacher. It also will investigate charges that Levin used school computers during school hours to work on his Web site. Levin works at Conestoga Middle School's media lab and teaches 6th, 7th and 8th graders about computers and technology.
According to the school district laws regulating teacher conduct, which are posted online: “The Beavertown School District rules involving teacher use of the district’s electronic system clearly state: The district's electronic communications system shall be used for educational purposes consistent with the district's mission, priorities and beliefs. Educational purposes do not include commercial use, use for personal financial gain or political advocacy.”
The investigation will be assigned to a case agent who will compile a preliminary report that will be presented before the commission. The commission members will then decide whether to charge Levin with misconduct or dismiss the case due to insufficient evidence, said Melody Hanson, the director of professional practices.
There are numerous factors that are weighed when considering disciplinary sanctions under state law, including:
--Whether the conduct was notorious or had negative effects on the public image of the school (public image could be an issue of contention in Beavertown, which was named the “Best Place to Raise Your Kids” in Oregon by Businessweek);
--the educator’s past performance;
--whether there was damage to students, other educators or the public;
--the likelihood of a recurrence of the conduct;
-- whether there is a danger that students will imitate the teacher’s behavior.
The earliest Levin’s case could be considered would be in August, since the commission meets only four times a year.
The Beaverton School District also is conducting an internal investigation to look into Levin's use of "work time and district equipment, and any other relevant issues," Maureen Wheeler, the district's public information officer, told FoxNews.com.
On Tuesday morning, the school district sent out a district-wide “media advisory” in which it declared its support of Levin. It described the teacher as a “leader of an anti-tea party organization” and called the controversy surrounding him a matter of free speech that should not be discussed with members of the press.
“What this teacher does in his private time is his private personal business. So when he’s not in school, that’s his personal time and there’s just not a lot we can do. This is an issue of free speech,” Wheeler told FoxNews.com on Tuesday.
The school district superintendent and several school board members deferred all questions to Wheeler.

Racist Whacko Fringe Alert:Thirty-five percent (35%) of Mainstream voters view themselves as Tea Party members -Rasmussen
34% Say They Or Someone Close To Them Part of Tea Party MovementTwenty-four percent (24%) of U.S. voters now say they consider themselves a part of the Tea Party movement, according to a new Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey. That's an eight-point increase from 16% a month ago.
Another 10% say they are not a part of the movement but have close friends or family members who are.
Fifty-five percent (55%) of voters say they have no ties to the Tea Party movement. Eleven percent (11%) more are not sure.
The rise in Tea party support is perhaps not surprising at a time when more voters than ever (58%) favor repeal of the national health care plan just passed by Democrats in Congress and signed into law by President Obama. Most voters remain convinced that the health care plan will require an increase in taxes on the middle class as a time when 66% of voters believe America is already overtaxed.
Forty-two percent (42%) of Republicans say they are part of the movement, compared to nine percent (9%) of Democrats and 24% of voters not affiliated with either major party. Thirty-five percent (35%) of Mainstream voters view themselves as Tea Party members, while 84% of the Political Class say they have no ties to the movement.
(Want a free daily e-mail update? If it's in the news, it's in our polls). Rasmussen Reports updates are also available on Twitter or Facebook.
Voters remain closely divided in their views of the movement which formally came to life a year ago on Tax Day, April 15, to protest the high-tax, big-government policies of both major political parties. Forty percent (40%) have a favorable opinion of the Tea Party movement, while 42% view the protest movement unfavorably. Eighteen percent (18%) are undecided.
These numbers are virtually unchanged from March. However, views of the movement have declined slightly over the past year. Just days after they were held last April, 51% of Americans had a favorable view of the "tea parties" held nationwide, including 32% who said their view of the events was very favorable.
Seventy percent (70%) of Republican voters view the Tea Party movement favorably. Seventy-one percent (71%) of Democrats do not. Unaffiliated voters are almost evenly divided in their views.
More noticeably, 96% of the Political Class regard the Tea Party movement unfavorably, while 58% of Mainstream voters have a favorable opinion of the movement.
When it comes to major issues confronting the nation, 48% of voters now say the average Tea Party member is closer to their views than President Obama is. Forty-four percent (44%) hold the opposite view and believe the president's views are closer to their own.
Fifty-two percent (52%) believe the average member of the Tea Party movement has a better understanding of the issues facing America today than the average member of Congress.
Tea Party voters are changing the equation in several closely-watched Senate races, including Nevada where Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid is struggling for reelection and Florida's Republican Primary where Marco Rubio is far outdistancing establishment candidate Governor Charlie Crist.
Thirty-five percent (35%) of voters now think Republicans and Democrats are so much alike that an entirely new political party is needed to represent the American people. Nearly half (47%) of voters disagree and say a new party is not needed
If the Tea Party was organized as a political party, 34% of voters would prefer a Democrat in a three-way congressional race. In that hypothetical match-up, the Republican gets 27% of the vote with the Tea Party hopeful in third at 21%. However, if only the Democrat or Republican had a real chance to win, most of the Tea Party supporters would vote for the Republican.
Just 21% of voters nationwide believe that the federal government now enjoys the consent of the governed.
In his new book, In Search of Self-Governance, Scott Rasmussen observes that the American people are "united in the belief that our political system is broken, that politicians are corrupt, and that neither major political party has the answers." He adds that "the gap between Americans who want to govern themselves and the politicians who want to rule over them may be as big today as the gap between the colonies and England during the 18th century."

House GOP Whip Cantor Reports Office Shot At, Chides DNC for "Fanning Flames"
HOUSE GOP No. 2: Someone Shot At My Office
CNN reports that Rep. Eric Cantor, the number two Republican in the House of Representatives, said Thursday that a bullet had been shot through a window at his district office in Richmond, Virginia. He also said he had received threatening messages.
He said he would not publicly release the messages out of concern that doing so would only incite further violence.
He also accused Democratic National Committee Chairman Tim Kaine and Rep. Chris Van Hollen of Maryland - a member of the Democratic House leadership - of "fanning the flames" of violence by using threats that have been made against Democratic members "as political weapons."
"Legitimate threats should be treated as security issues, and they should be dealt with by the appropriate law enforcement officials," Cantor told reporters on Capitol Hill. "It is reckless to use these incidents as media vehicles for political gain. ... Enough is enough. It has to stop."
Cantor, who is Jewish, said he had received numerous threats throughout his career both on account of his religion and his position in the GOP leadership.
More than 10 Democrats have reported trouble since the weekend health care vote, House Majority Leader Steny Hoyer, D-Maryland, told reporters on Wednesday.
Windows have been smashed at Democratic offices in at least three states, and federal agents are investigating whether a cut gas line at the home of a Virginia congressman's brother was related to the lawmaker's yes vote.
Democratic congressional leaders have demanded Republicans join them in condemning a spate of threats and vandalism that has followed Sunday's vote on a sweeping overhaul of the U.S. health care system.

912 March on Washington:
Will the thugs come out and play?
As people have been awakened to the reality of the radical transformation of their country, tensions have been building and tempers flaring on both sides. Contrary to what many talking heads would have us to believe, protests against the latest massive government takeovers and encroachments actually began while Bush was still in office, and the message has been consistent and clear: that the Federal government must be returned to its Constitutionally restricted functions and only be allowed those functions granted by the enumerated powers therein.
The current wave of public outcry and protest against more government intrusion is wholly consistent with the principles of republican government and a people bent on preserving their self-determination without undue interference from the State, yet this Administration and Congress is determined to follow in the footsteps of all of their predecessors: demonize the opposition, discredit and silence dissent. The facts speak for themselves.
The Obama Administration and Congress have been laying out their case that everyone who opposes their agenda - and especially those who actively protest the actions they are taking to finally transform this country from a representative republic to a command-and-control bureaucratically administered state - as enemies of the state, as traitors, as dangerous extremists, as domestic terrorists. Their true attitude toward those who oppose their agenda was no where more poignantly seen than in the enraged glare cast by Speaker Pelosi at Rep. Joe Wilson when he shouted "you lie!" at the President during his address to Congress. Her look of utter contempt was unmistakable, and it was not merely contempt toward Mr. Wilson's remark - it is contempt for what Mr. Wilson believes in and stands for.
They have done their best to discredit and demonize their opposition, to portray us as crazy, ignorant of history, un-patriotic and un-American, as violence-prone and itching for a fight, and many news outlets have been more than willing to comply with the propagation of this fallacious message. The irony here is that they seem to be projecting their own feelings onto us. If nothing else, we know our history – and our Constitution. To be sure, while there have been some kooks that have shown up at various protests and town halls on both sides of the issue, the only act of violence was perpetrated by an Obamacare supporter against a protester when he bit off the protester’s finger.
The fact is that we are ready to have civil discourse and calmly, methodically and logically present our case in support of our contention that this hijacking of our country is illicit and unconstitutional. Obama’s media minions respond with sexual innuendo and gutter references to “tea-bagging” and unsubstantiated claims that our issue is with the color of his skin and not his Marxist ideology. They claim we use the word “socialist” as a code for racist nomenclature. People who would sink to such depths to avoid a civil debate because they know we are right are not merely hypocritical, but amoral and utterly contemptible. But, that’s what despotic thugs do, because in order to attain their dubious goals they have to make someone a scapegoat.
The question for today is how the protesters will be received when they begin their march on Washington. That tensions will be high is obvious, but one wonders if their right to peacefully assemble will be respected or trampled. One wonders how numerous and how antagonistic will be the counter-protesters from Organizing for America, ACORN and SEIU.
One wonders how many moles these organizations will have embedded throughout the throngs of patriots opposing further erosion of their Constitutional rights, and what their ultimate mission and function will be. One prays that there will be no violence, but the lessons of history demonstrate that such an undesirable result of a mass protest is a distinct possibility – especially when is opposition to socialist despotism. Inciting violence - thereby staging a crisis - would certainly play into the hands and serve the interests of the pro-socialist camp, and could be used by the proponents of this socialist revolution to further discredit well-meaning patriots exercising and defending their rights against what they rightly perceive as a prelude to tyranny. Let us not forget the words of the White House Chief of Staff: “Never let a crisis go to waste, because you can get things done that you otherwise couldn’t.” Like crushing dissent and opposition?

RAW VIDEO!!.....TEA PARTY PROTESTERS ATTACKED-- 1 Black Conservative Seriously Hurt in St. Louis!... 6 Arrested Including SEIU Members
** RAW VIDEO from Missourah blog:A black conservative was attacked by the Carnahan-supporting mob.At least one SEIU member is arrested by St. Louis police in this video:
Six people were arrested outside the Russ Carnahan town hall event on Thursday after thugs attacked tea party protesters.
Missourah Blog wrote this about the incident:
What I can tell is that a guy walking 10-20 feet ahead of us said to the guys in
purple shirts (SEIU members, as I understand) "you attacked him!" and "you're
going to jail!"
The guy who said he was attacked (light brown short sleeve collared shirt) said he was just out there selling something (I think "Don't Tread on Me" flags). One black conservative was seriously hurt outside the event.
The Post-Dispatch reported:
St. Louis County police say six people were arrested. Two of those were arrested
on suspicion of assault, one of resisting arrest and three on suspicion of committing peace disturbances. Carnahan was gone when the ruckus started.
Kenneth Gladney, a 38-year-old conservative activist from St. Louis, said he was attacked by some of those arrested as he handed out yellow flags with “Don't tread on me” printed on them. He spoke to the Post-Dispatch from the emergency room of the St. John's Mercy Medical Center, where he said he was waiting to be treated for injuries to his knee, back, elbow, shoulder and face that he suffered in the attack. Gladney, who is black, said one of his attackers, also a black man, used a racial slur against him before the attack started.
“It just seems there's no freedom of speech without being attacked,” he said.
Carnahan reserved a section at the event for union supporters. He blocked the 1,000 tea party protesters from entering the event and even had his supporters enter in a side door.
Here is another video of the massive crowd of tea party taxpayers waiting in line before the town hall event. They were denied entry but the union members were allowed in through a side door.

Beyond the Pale
Here's a comment (sent by a "friend of ours") I think we need to take into consideration when reading this story:
I was at the Pentagon’s 9-11 Memorial last September 11 as a guest of Mark Levin’s.
President Bush was the keynote speaker.
It was not only normal procedure for the Secret Service to be out in full force three city blocks wide around the Pentagon.
They were in full combat gear with M-16 assault rifles locked and loaded what we call in the Army full battle rattle.
It is also normal operating procedure for the secret service to have the back window down with sharpshooters in the back following a convoy.
None of this was out of the ordinary. Normal operating procedures for protecting POTUS. Gateway Pundit is wrong on this one.
MR adds -- well, as I said in comments, there were alot of these comments at Gateway also, so I'd believe I fumbled here HOWEVER it does not answer the question as to where those muzzles were pointed. Safely, ok. At the crowd (as the original letter states) then my comment still stands. We're not likely to ever know for sure.
============================
This may be a strange comment but, as a guy who regularly carries and handles firearms, what these guys did -- pointing a loaded weapon at someone (especially someone non-threatening) is inherently dangerous, very stupid and against every rule of gun safety there is and HIGHLY unprofessional.
That said, the bigger issue is
WHY THE HELL DID THEY HANDLE THEIR WEAPONS THIS WAY? THERE WAS NO OBVIOUS THREAT. THIS IS SOMETHING YOU WOULD SEE IN CUBA, NICARAUGUA, VENZUELA, RUSSIA OR THE SOVIET UNION. WHO THE HELL DOES THIS POS POTUS THINK HE IS THAT HE NEEDS TO ARRIVE WITH BODYGUARDS' ARMS DRAWN? WHAT HAS OUR GOVERNMENT COME TO? WHAT HAS THIS COUNTRY COME TO?
WHAT IS BARACK HUSSEIN OBAMA AFRAID OF?
THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE BEHAVIOR FROM THE PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA. TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE. HE OWES EVERY AMERICAN AN APOLOGY.
HE SHOULD RESIGN IF HE IS AFRAID OF HIS OWN PEOPLE.
RESIGN.

OBAMA SECRET SERVICE Pulls Guns On Conservative Tea Party Protesters In Bristol
The Obama caravan drives through Bristol, Virginia this week.
Hey Gateway Pundit. I attended the town hall event in Bristol,VA today.
Though very few were allowed inside, there was an amazing turnout outside of
people protest healthcare reform, among other things. I hope to send you
pictures soon of some great signs I saw. It was expected that those in
opposition to the bill would outnumber those in favor by 10-1, but I feel it was much, much more.
I do have a question I was hoping you could answer. During the motorcade
when the president was arriving, there were several vehicles following the limo
that contained the secret service. All of the vehicles had all the windows
rolled down, and back hatch open on the SUVs with the men holding their, I assume assault rifes, machine guns, drawn on everyone lining the streets. Needless to say it took my breath away at the sight of them, and made my friends and I dizzy with fear. I have seen the secret service before, but never like this. While they were intimidating, I never felt in danger. The guns were not drawn when the motorcade was leaving the event. But I turned on a local talk radio program as we were leaving and all the calls were about witnessing the guns being pointed at them and nothing else until the end of the program.
Having said all that, my question is, is this normal protocol during such
an event? It very well could be, but after I had to get over the shock of it, I
began to feel offended. We were all there peaceful, and have no problems with
Obama the man, we have problems with his policies and wanted him to know the
opposition was there to be heard, and know that a strong opposition did indeed
exist, and that so many people don't approve of his policies, with this bill in
particular.
So, is this normal, and I'm making a mountain out of mole hill, or did they
make an exception in this mainly conservative area?
Thanks.
Destiny Baker
NO Destiny. It's not normal for the secret service to pull their assault guns on conservative protesters as they drive through town.
Destiny sent this picture of the caravan driving through Bristol:
Here's a close up of the secret service vehicle with the guns drawn on the protesters:
