CAIR'S "STAR WITNESSES" IN RIFQA BARY CASE NOW CHARGED WITH EMBEZZLEMENT AND MAIL TAMPERING

UPDATED

From the Astute Bloggers:
A very eye-opening development has come up in the case involving the Global Revolution Church, which betrayed Blake and Beverly Lorenz: Brian Smith, one of the heads of the church, and Omar Tarazi, the CAIR lawyer for the Bary parents, are now facing charges for embezzling and mail tampering. Among some of the details here:
Perhaps the most disturbing element to the crimes committed by Brian Smith, Tom Sanchez and Jeff Parker is that they have illegally embezzled and/or misappropriated funds sent to the church from all over the country by Rifqa's supporters intended for Rifqa’s legal defense fund. The Orlando law firm overseeing her defense fund, Fowler, O'Quinn, Feeney & Sneed, confirmed this week that they have not found any records of EVER receiving any monies from Global Revolution Church sent to the church designated for Rifqa’s legal defense. I have been provided copies of checks sent to the church designated to Rifqa's defense fund, confirming that monies were in fact received, but never forwarded to Fowler, O'Quinn, Feeney & Sneed.

Anyone who sent checks to the Global Revolution Church or transferred money through the church's PayPal account since August for Rifqa's defense is encouraged to contact the Orlando Police Department at 321-235-5300 (complaint desk) to report the funds missing.

The “Judas Three” are also facing federal mail tampering charges. After the trio engineered a church leadership coup and fired the Lorenzs back in September, they intercepted personal mail intended for the Lorenzs sent to the church post office box. Instead of forwarding the mail to the Lorenz’s in accordance with federal law, they sent the mail to CAIR attorney Omar Tarazi, who is representing Rifqa's parents in Ohio. Tarazi, knowing that the mail had been illegally obtained, then attempted to use this purloined correspondence to sabotage negotiations with Rifqa's legal team, making him an accessory after the fact to the Judas Three's felonious mail tampering. Additionally, Tarazi never notified postal authorities of the crime as required of an officer of the court. The mail tampering was attested to in an affidavit submitted to the Ohio court last month by Blake Lorenz (see earlier post)
I expect following this that Tarazi will be disbarred from law practice, and the Ohio court dealing with the case will make sure not to allow CAIR officials to represent any more cases dealt with there. As for Smith and his 2 cohorts at the church, this is truly disgraceful that people in service of the Lord were stealing people's money. It will likely deal a blow to Global Revolution Church's credibility as long as they're under the management of the Judas Three, whom I hope will spend time in prison for assisting in potentially endangering the life of a girl fleeing an abusive family.

UPDATE - Anonymous comments:

Would it not be reasonable to assume that this mail might include letters of support for Rifqa and the Lorenz's, and that SOME of those supporters might well be former muslims themselves or those who are planning a future escape?

And since snail mail typically includes a return address, this situation may be dangerous for more people than just Rifqa...

How many of us are now on a "special" list? Ugh.

Rifqa Bary: New (Old) Rifqa Bary Video

I am not sharing this to preach to anyone about Christianity. I just want people to focus on 2 things about this video.

1) This video was shot in May, 2009--BEFORE SHE RAN AWAY.
2) Notice what she says about her parents.

Rifqa Bary: An FBI Agent's Assessment

[Note: John D. Guandolo is a 12 ½ year veteran of the Federal Bureau of Investigation. At the request of the Center for Security Policy, he prepared an assessment of the Florida Department of Law Enforcement’s (FDLE) investigation of the Ohio-based parents of former Muslim Rifqa Bary, the 17-year old apostate from Islam who has sought refuge in the state of Florida. The FDLE report is provided here, and is available as searchable text for the first time, below his analysis. The significant errors and omissions that Mr. Guandolo and other experts have found in this FDLE investigation show a failure in FDLE’s professional responsibility in handling the Rifqa Bary case. Governor Crist and FDLE management need to get new investigators on the job, start over, and this time do it right. A life may be at stake due to FDLE negligence-- and willful blindness-- in conducting this investigation.]

John D. Guandolo:
Response to FDLE Investigative Report on Rifqa Bary Matter

Upon my review of the report filed by the FDLE regarding the Rifqa Bary Matter in Florida, I offer my professional opinion.

1. The Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE) Investigative Summary OR-73-1741 encapsulates the investigation into allegations made by Fathima Rifqa Bary (hereafter referred to as “Rifqa Bary”) that she is or may be in physical danger from her father, Mohamed Bary, or others. Point 4 on page 2 of the report states Rifqa Bary believes her life to be in danger from an “honor killing” by her family or others, which she states is in accordance with Islamic Law. The report finds: “Ms. Bary’s concern that she may be killed because of her conversion from Islam to Christianity remains a subjective and speculative concern…” and concludes there is no conspiracy to commit violence against her. The investigators in this matter offer this opinion void of any knowable facts.

In fact, a due diligence review would reveal the existence of authoritative Islamic Law texts officially translated into English. This review would further reveal Islamic Law – which is real law – has requirements and rules as to how to deal with those who leave Islam [eg The Classic Manual of Islamic Sacred Law, "Umdat al-Salik" also known as "Reliance of the Traveller" - publicly available]. If it can be shown (1) there is a requirement in Islamic Law for killing Ms. Bary as a publicly declared apostate from Islam, (2) that her parents adhere to Islamic Law, and (3) that she did, in fact, leave Islam and convert to Christianity, then the FDLE has a professional responsibility to include these facts in this report, and investigate this matter fully. There is nothing subjective about this – these are all ascertainable facts. I would hope the Florida State’s Attorney’s Office has done their due diligence on this matter and is aware of this

2. Mr. Bary’s comments to the Investigators claiming there is “absolutely not” any concept of Honor Killings under Islamic Law can also be comparatively and factually reviewed against Islamic Law. There are, in fact, rules and requirements as to how apostates should be handled within the context of Islamic Law, and these facts must be reviewed by FDLE if a professional and factual report is to be completed.

3. It was noted that the Executive Director of the Council on American Islamic Relations (CAIR) -Columbus (Ohio) and the Staff Attorney for CAIR were present during the interview of Mr. Bary by FDLE Investigators. Absent from the FDLE report was any mention that CAIR is a known Muslim Brotherhood entity and an unindicted co-conspirator in the Holy Land Foundation (HLF) trial – the largest terrorism financing trial in U.S. history – revealing HLF as a Hamas/Muslim Brotherhood front in the United States. All defendants in this case were found guilty in November 2008 and are serving long prison terms. These facts about CAIR were testified to at trial, and accepted as legally true. They are irrefutable – the documents demonstrating these facts were stipulated to by the defense. The Muslim Brotherhood’s (MB) creed is “Allah is our goal; the Messenger is our guide: the Koran is our constitution; Jihad is our means; and martyrdom in the way of Allah is our inspiration,” and their stated objective in America is a “Civilization-Jihad” to destroy the United States from within, and the MB exists to implement Islamic Law here in the United States.

All of these facts are relevant for two critical reasons. First, these material facts should be made known to the State Attorney’s Office and any Judges involved in this case as a matter of course. Secondly, when representatives from an organization that is objectively known to be hostile towards to the United States and unindicted co-conspirator in the largest terrorism financing trial in U.S. history, are allowed to be present during a law enforcement interview of someone, it raises questions as to why they were allowed to be present at the interview at all.

These facts further demand an objective look to determine if the Muslim Brotherhood itself has a position on Islamic Law and Apostasy. One of the MB’s two stated objectives is to implement Islamic Law in North America (and across the globe), and it is known they call for adherence to Islamic Law wherever Muslim communities exist. The Classic Manual of Islamic Sacred Law: Reliance of the Traveller is approved as valid Islamic Law by the International Institute of Islamic Thought (IIIT), a known Muslim Brotherhood entity, as proven in the HLF trial.
In Reliance of the Traveller, Investigators will find specific legal doctrine on how apostates are to be treated under Islamic Law. Furthermore, the Muslim Brotherhood has a history of officially addressing the issue of Apostasy. In 1984, Ismail R. Al-Faruki , the Founder of IIIT, stated: “That is why Islamic Law has treated people who have converted out of Islam as political traitors…[Islam] must deal with the traitors when convicted after due process of law either with banishment, life imprisonment, or capital punishment…but once their conversion is proclaimed, they must be dealt with as traitors to the state.”

Apostasy is also specifically addressed in Peace and the Limits of War, published by IIIT and written by Louay Safi, the former Executive Director of IIIT, Malaysia, the Association of Muslim Social Scientists (a proven Muslim Brotherhood entity), and the Executive Director of the Islamic Society of North America’s (ISNA) Leadership Development Council. ISNA was proven to be a Muslim Brotherhood entity and is also an unindicted co-conspirator in the largest terrorism financing trial in U.S. history – HLF. The book is also approved by the Secretary General of ISNA. In it, Mr. Safi notes that individual apostates cannot be killed for a “quiet desertion of personal Islamic duties,” but can be put to death as “just punishment” when the apostate deserts Islam publicly (p. 31).

4. This is a statement of facts regarding this matter:

* There are requirements in Islamic Law regarding someone who deserts Islam
* The Muslim Brotherhood’s objective is the implementation of Islamic Law in the United States
* Rifqa Bary has left Islam and become a Christian
* Rifqa Bary has made statements to FDLE officials and others that her parents have threatened to kill her because she has left Islam
* The Bary’s appear to be adherent to Islamic Law
* The Bary’s appear at an interview with two Muslim Brotherhood representatives doing business as CAIR, a group known to be hostile towards the United States which is also an unindicted co-conspirator in the largest terrorism financing trial in U.S. history
* The Muslim Brotherhood supports the killing of Muslims who publicly leave Islam

5. It is my professional opinion that sufficient Probable Cause exists to believe that Ms Bary’s concerns for her personal safety are based in a realistic and factual understanding of her situation, and, therefore, a further criminal investigation is warranted.

Rifqa Bary: Update

I am still prone to believing what Rifqa is saying but if this report is not challenged then her case is over and done with. The investogators and the mainstream media always preferred and listened to the parents and CAIR. How is that fair and balanced? Its the girl's life on the line for crying out loud!!

Anyway, let me know what you guys think so far and there's more reports you can read if you follow the link below:

The Ohio teen who ran away from her Muslim home after converting to Christianity apparently lied to state investigators.

However, one of the groups that have infused itself into her cause is accusing state agents of not thoroughly doing their jobs.

Tom Trento with the Florida Security Council calls a seven page report of investigative findings from Florida Department of Law Enforcement “complete nonsense” even though agents interviewed Rifqa Bary and then sought out to confirm or deny the allegations she made.In the report, investigators discuss Rifqa’s claims that she was assaulted by her father, threatened with death and was the victim of long-term child abuse.

Investigators found absolutely no credible reports of threats and no “derogatory” information based on the allegations after interviewing her siblings, people at her school and others involved in her life.

But those fighting for Rifqa to stay in Florida said the report is “incomplete,” deficient and they accuse FDLE agents of not grasping the seriousness of her situation.

“The investigators here are going to be very embarrassed when this comes to trial because expert witnesses will be brought in to completely overwhelm these investigators and their methods employed by these FDLE folks,” Trento said.

Rifqa was interviewed by investigators on Aug. 21. She told them she hitchhiked from a neighbor’s house to the Greyhound bus station in Columbus for her trip to Orlando. It turns out a man who baptized her in Ohio is the one who drove her to the bus station. Then, investigators learned her bus ticket was actually bought in Orlando under a fictitious name.

So what’s next in this case?

Lawyers for Rifqa’s parents have filed a motion to dismiss the dependency hearing. It could be heard as early as next week.

If it’s dismissed, this could clear the way for Rifqa to return to Ohio with her family.

Atlas Interviews Rifqa Bary's Friend

I am glad to say it sounds like there is more corroboration that Rifqa is absolutely telling the truth. As we discussed the other day, I have been concerned that this story might blow up in the faces of Spencer and Geller. But, I've always been about 90-10 in favor of believing Rifqa.

Rifqa bary bro

Rifqa and her younger brother

Listen here: Rifqa Bary's Best Friend: Brian Williams, The Atlas Interview

Impromptu and on the fly, I had the good fortune to do an interview with Rifqa Bary's dear friend, Brian Williams. We were exchanging emails on facebook and he was happy to talk to me, as the media was manufacturing a dishonest, anti-Christian, anti-Rifqa narrative. Brian is a missionary and is the Pastor in Ohio who baptized Rifqa this year. He was very much a big brother to her. Williams was very aware of what Rifqa was dealing with. She lived a double life. A life of constant fear: fear of herfather, her family and mosque members.

It was the mosque members who spied on her and ratted her out to her parents. According to Brian, they kept calling the house, warning Rifqa's parents to "get her under control or else". Her mother said to Rifqa, after to speaking to mosque members, "you are not my daughter" "I were to die I don't want you to come to my funeral"-- and that she would be "sent back to Sri Lanka and put into a place" for apostates.

When Rifqa Bary ran for her life and the police found religious writings among Rifqa's things, the police threatened Williams with arrest if "Rifqa did not appear in the next 24 hours". Immediately afterward he was contacted by the Kansas City police, who searched his home looking for Rifqa. The police had it wrong.

The interview is a half hour and reveals much. Rifqa's family is devout and has a deep pride in its many generations of pious Muslims. Her grandfather was an imam.

Brian also said the depiction of the father as a warm caring man is completely dishonest. The claim that the father came to the States for medical treatment of Rifqa's eye was just media propaganda. Brian explained that the family used Rifqa's medical condition to get into this country.

Does that media get any of this story? Newsweek did an article on Rifqa that broke today. It is pure evil. Truly disgusting.

It kicks off like this,

John Stemberger, a conservative Christian lawyer who was involved in the battle over Terri Schiavo, the Florida woman kept alive with a feeding tube until it was disconnected in 2005. He and various right-wing groups have unleashed a barrage of allegations against Bary's parents and a mosque they attend in Columbus, Ohio. Yet as Krista Bartholomew, Bary's guardian ad litem (appointed by the court to offer guidance on the girl's best interests), said in a hearing last Thursday, "This is not a holy war. This is a case about a frightened little girl and a broken family."

Get it? Then in describing the father:

Mohamed and Aysha Bary left Sri Lanka in 2000 with their two kids, Rifqa and an older brother, and moved to New York (their third child, a boy, was born in the United States). The reason: concern about Rifqa's well-being. As a child, she'd fallen on a toy airplane that pierced her right eye. Doctors in Sri Lanka wanted to remove the eye, prompting Mohamed to relocate the whole family so Rifqa could obtain better medical treatment. In the end, her eye was spared, though she can't see out of it. Then, in 2004, Mohamed moved the family again, this time to seek a better public education for the kids. He settled on the Columbus area, which had highly ranked schools. At New Albany High School, Rifqa excelled. She maintained a 3.5 grade-point average and became a member of the cheerleading squad.

Rifqa did not fall on a toy plane. Her brother threw a hard object at her eye and caused her blindness. And her father did not get her "better medical treatment". He used it to get to America (according to Williams). Newsweek goes on to say, "in the end her eye was spared, though she can't see out of it". Huh?

And what does Newsweek Newswrong say about apostasy? In the whole article there is one parenthetical remark. Did they interview any apostates in America and ask them about the constant threat of death they live under (ie Wafa Sultan, Nonie Darwish, Ibn Warraq)?

(Muslim scholars say that in Islam, there's no such thing as an honor killing for apostasy.)

That's it. Who did they speak to? Ibrahim Hooper?

Go read the whole thing over at Pamela's place.

WIKIPEDIA: ERASING RIFQA - WAFA SULTAN THREATENED

From Atlas Shrugs:

The dhimmis over at Wikipedia have deleted the Rifqa Bary entry. The landmark apostasy case in the USA has been erased. If only we could erase the gruesome death threat Wafa Sultan received today because of her apostasy. I suspect they want to shut Wafa up in her defense of Rifqa. Not that she doesn't receive death threats on a regular basis, but this was particularly bad.

Atlas reader "Sarah Palin" [nic] wrote:

the Wikipedians have deleted Rifqa, saying this is "just a case of a runway with religious overtones." And the holocaust was a delousing with social justiceovertones. This is going to be a landmark case, or it will be a footnote to the denouement of free society. The difference is buzz. Keep the lamp lit. Talk about her. Write letters. Send emails to your friends. Leave flyers on park benches, Get teenagers to rally for her cause. Force the media to cover her and the real issue of Shariah Law and death for apostasy. This is not just blogging and politics. This is life and death for us all.

"Palin" is right. They want Rifqa to disappear and for you not to know, care or ask why.

RIFQA BARY: From the Courtroom

Bumped & Sticky

Don't know if this is credible but here it is:

Rifqa walked in after her parents sat down with their attorney Craig McCarthy at one table.

She is seated at another, but facing her mother, who is wearing a scarf and wiping her eyes with a tissue.

Rifqa wants to make a statement before the hearing begins.

The attorneys are huddling before the judge for a decision on whether he will allow that.

UPDATE: Judge Dawson has decided to let her speak, saying it his policy to let anyone speak in open court.

This case is about jurisdiction, whether she can stay in the care of the Florida Department of Children and Families, or whether she has to be turned over to Ohio authorities.

A representative from DCF has told the court that the Florida Department of Law Enforcement has agreed to investigate the matter, because DCF fears she is in danger.

An attorney for Rifqa's parents said Ohio has investigated this matter and if there's any question about her safety, then Ohio is the place for that to be determined.

"There is no basis," the attorney said, for her to stay in Florida since her life is in Ohio.

McCarthy said it would "enormous prejudice" to try this matter in Florida.

A legal representative for Rifqa says since Ohio has no prior legal proceeding in this case, then Florida can claim jurisdiction.

Staying in Florida, her legal team argues, would keep her safe.

Judge Dawson said he has had no contact with Ohio courts, so he doesn't know if Ohio wants jurisdiction in this case.

"Rifqa wants to be here," said one of her lawyers.

He told the court the teen's safety would be compromised back in Ohio, referring to some 'terrorist activity' in the region where she lived. He did not elaborate.

UPDATE: Rifqa is sitting with her attorneys, reading a book that she brought in. She glances at the judge and her legal team, but not her parents.

Judge Dawson says "at first blush" it appears his court has jurisdiction in this custody matter, since no Ohio court has taken up the matter.

Attorneys for the parents are citing a ruling that Judge Dawson could request an Ohio court to initiate a hearing, but Dawson said he didn't feel that was the case, although he appears willing to make contact.

update: A hearing is set for September 3rd at 2:30 p.m.

A dependency petition will be argued at that time.

The judge is still ordering a mediation effort to avoid trial.

update: Rafqa is making her statement to the court. "I've been a christian for 4 years of my life. I love my parents but I am in fear of my life because of the past abuse. I assure your honor Jesus Christ is my Lord and Savior. I am a Christian, a believer."

Her mother cried, "I need my daughter back."

He father said "I love my daughter, I have no problem in her practicing another religion."

She is free to come and practice what she likes in my home," he said.

Rifqa will spend some time with her younger brothers, but does not want to meet with her parents at this time.

The court will allow it.

update: Rifqa is staying in a foster home. Her foster parents are not willing to allow supervised visitation of Rifqa's family or friends right now. The judge is recommending DCF take charge of the issue and hold these meetings in an outside location where it can be videotaped.

Judge Dawson asked if Rifqa is a legal immigrant. She was born in Sri Lanka. Her attorneys say they are trying to determine that and need the parents' cooperation.

Her father, Mohammed, said she arrived in the U.S. on a visa. Since she has turned 17, her legal status is in question.

Rifqa will be home schooled in her foster home. She attended high school back in Ohio where she was a cheerleader.

The hearing ended at 4:07 PM

We Kept Shouting Louder And Louder And All We Heard Was Our Own Echo

An innocent girl appeared on TV some days ago. She looked scared and shaken. Many people accused her and still accuse her of lying. They say, "she wants attention". They accuse her of being brainwashed. Instead of feeling sympathy for her and trying to protect her like they would do in case a 17 year old was in danger, they throw baseless accusations at her. Why? What is it that she did that was so evil that it was proof enough for the mainstream media and everyday individuals to decisively conclude that she was lying? Her biggest sin and crime: She claimed that she was from a Muslim background, she had converted to Christianity and because of the teaching of Islam, her father threatened to kill her.

Her story surfaced on the blogs and ABC News. "Is she for real?" Was the question. Instead of trying to see whether she was in real danger or not, people tried to discredit what she was saying and they did that so many times that now she has disappeared from the news altogether. There are no further updates. We don't know what happened to her excpet that there's a court hearing on August 21.

It is true that she has been attacked. But she has been attacked not because of anything wrong that she said. No one took what she said and examined it against Islamic scriptures. She has been attacked because she said something about Islam that people don't want to hear. "Islam is a religion of peace", we hear, "what she claims is impossible". "A father can never actually kill his child...its an empty threat that she is blowing out of proportion"--is she really? When Cassius Clay converted to "Nation Of Islam", he didn't claim his parents were threatening to kill him. When Cat Stevens converted to Islam, he didn't claim that either. Take any example out there of people that convert into Islam and you won't find anyone being threatened like this. Why is it that only people that leave Islam are threatened? Is it a fabrication? Are all ex-Muslims lying? Does everyone really hate Islam so much as to create lies upon lies just like these Muslims claim? Or is Islam really getting a free pass here? Doesn't it sound like we have already accepted the Dhimmi status without actually raising the white flag?

Why do I care about this girl who is being treated in America exactly like she'd be treated in Saudi Arabia? Do I know her personally to vouch for what she is saying? Do I even know her full name? No. I care about her because 5 years ago, these were the fears I had to deal with. I had to think where to run and how to escape if my parents found out about who I was. Did I think back then that my parents were just evil people out to kill anything and everything in their way? No, I knew well enough that they loved me and I don't doubt that even today. Just like I don't doubt that their love for Islam is far greater than anything else in this world, including their children. And that is what Rifqa knows to be true about her parents. She knows her parents love her but she also knows that her parents love Islam more--they can't be Muslims if they didn't. However, I have to ask this question. Are my and Rifqa's fears based on anything real? Has it ever happened before that parents have killed their children for Islam or is it only a figment of my and Rifqa's imagination as the media seems to assume? I will write breifly about two such cases. Lets see:

  1. A Saudi father cuts his daughter's tongue off and then burns her to death for converting to Christianity. Her crime? She converted to Christianity. Did this happen in 640 AD? Is this a story of a serial killer that kills for fun? Was the father mentally (and medically) deranged? The answer to all those questions is NO. The father loved his daughter but he loved Islam more. Read the whole story here.

  2. A Jordanian man stabs his daughter 5 times and then smashes her skull with a large rock. Her crime? Her husband and her converted to Christianity. Again, it didn't happen in 640 AD nor is it a story of a serial killer nor was the father mentally (medically) deranged. Again, the father loved his daughter but he loved Islam more. Read the whole story here.
Before accusing Rifqa of lying through her teeth, people should have investigated a little. People that criticized should have realized that Islam, just like anything else in the world, is not above critcism.

If the readers read the two stories mentioned above with open minds then they might want to know the answer to the following questions: What is it that makes a parent take their own child's life? What makes the parents have the courage to lift up their hand and end the life they started in the first place? Mohammed once said, "None of you will have faith till he loves me more than his father, his children and all mankind" (Sahih Bukhari, Volume 1, Book 2, Number 14). While its true that Jesus said something to that effect as well, he never said this, "Whoever changed his Islamic religion, then kill him" (Sahih Bukhari, Volume 9, Book 84, Number 57). Neither would one be able to find the Christian version of, "Allah's Apostle said, 'The blood of a Muslim who confesses that none has the right to be worshipped but Allah and that I am His Apostle, cannot be shed except in three cases: In Qisas for murder, a married person who commits illegal sexual intercourse and the one who reverts from Islam (apostate) and leaves the Muslims." (Sahih Bukhari, Volume 9, Book 83, Number 17). It is no secret that Mohammed was able to gain support in Medina through words like these. It is no secret that even early on Mohammed was able to turn fathers against children, siblings against one another and tribe members against their tribal brethren.

There is a popular tradition about Abu Bakr, Mohammed's most loyal follower, best friend and the first caliph of Islam. He was the closest to Mohammed. He loved Mohammed with all his heart. Ayesha, Mohammed's child bride, was his daughter. If anyone other than Mohammed would know Islam, it would be Abu Bakr. A dialogue took palce between Abu Bakr and his then "infidel" son in a well known story: "'O Father, at Badr, you were twice under my sword, but my love for you held my hand back.' To this, Abu Bakr replied, 'Son, if I had you only once under my sword, you would have been no more.'" (Encyclopedia of Islam, Page 192). Abu Bakr was known as "Siddiq" which means "truthful". He was known as a moderate man who was even merciful to his enemies. The quote above is this moderate Muslim's words. When people call someone a moderate Muslim and then try to present that as proof that this guy is a peaceful person who just wants to live peacefully with the rest of humanity, to us "apostates" that doesn't make any difference. A Muslim is a Muslim. Call him moderate or fundamentalist, it doesn't matter. Now, I've presented examples from the hadiths that show Muslims would, should and can kill "infidels", but is there anything similar in the Quran?

"What aileth you that ye are become two parties regarding the hypocrites, when Allah cast them back (to disbelief) because of what they earned? Seek ye to guide him whom Allah hath sent astray? He whom Allah sendeth astray, for him thou (O Muhammad) canst not find a road. They long that ye should disbelieve even as they disbelieve, that ye may be upon a level (with them). So choose not friends from them till they forsake their homes in the way of Allah; if they turn back (to enmity) then take them and kill them wherever ye find them, and choose no friend nor helper from among them." This quotation is from the Quran's Sura 4, verses 88-89. Read it without the special notes in parentheses, for these are additions by interpreters. It is little wonder then that the whole of Sunni Islamic world, which is comprised of over 85% of the Muslim world, is unanimous on the punishment of apostates--that they should be killed. The scholars only differ on whether to kill the apostates when they make it public or even when only a couple of people know about it.

After reading all that, I would ask another question: Why are people so loyal to Mohammed? It wasn't just his friends that would raise their sword at one word from Mohammed, it is all his followers. This calls for another article altogether, or maybe a book. However, in short, there are many reasons for this loyalty, however, one of the biggest reasons is fear and love of Mohammed. This love (or fear) is not baseless. Allah adorns Mohammed with praise verse after verse. We read, "Say:(O Muhammad)! “If you do love Allah, follow me: Allah will love you and forgive you your sins, for Allah is oft-forgiving, most merciful.” (Sura 3, verse 31). Again Allah informs us that, "Verily in the messenger of Allah ye have a good example for him who looketh unto Allah and the Last Day, and remembereth Allah much." Yes, the Quran tells you that if you want to go to paradise then do what Mohammed did and said. And what Mohammed did and said is recorded in his bioigraphy and the hadiths, some of which I have quoted above.

But would anyone love Mohammed so much as to be able to kill their own children? What is it that drives a human being to do that? What is it that gives him that power? When the Quran tells you to not have pity at all, no compassion whatsoever when you're punishing an adulterer or an adulteress with a 100 lashes (Sura 24, verse 2), how much more are you prone to not have any compassion when someone insults the god of Islam by leaving his religion and announcing it publicly? However, still its hard to believe that a parent would kill their child but is that how Islam views it? "O ye who believe! Choose not your fathers nor your brethren for friends if they take pleasure in disbelief rather than faith. Whoso of you taketh them for friends, such are wrong-doers." (Sura 9, verse 23). Mohammed made sure every step of the way that the people that followed him were loyal to him and only him. He made sure that none of the tribal connections or blood relations were going to come in the way. He was very successful in that as we see in the history of Islam. It was tribesmen attacking their own tribes, parents attacking children, brothers attacking brothers. For Mohammed to be successful, this had to be instilled in the minds of Muslims. Only Muslims are your friends and everyone else is your enemy. To a Muslim, you're either a Muslim or a non-Muslim. Family values are secondary, Mohammed comes first. All family bond are broken once you leave Islam.

I have tried here to show why it is easy for a Muslim parent to "pull the trigger" and kill their child. This post is way too brief for a topic like this. Islam is not just a religion that teaches you spirituality. Islam controls every aspect of your life. You don't just go to the mosque and pray 5 times a day, but you live and breathe Islam. Whatever you do, Allah and Mohammed come first. You are a Muslim before you become a child, sibling or a parent. You are a slave of Allah before you become a human. When Rifqa cries on camera and says, "you guys won't understand", I know what she means. I can try to write a 100 posts about why Rifqa is so scared but you would never know the actual depth of Islam until you actually experience it yourself. I hope you never do, but it is nearly impossible to comprehend how strong the clutches of Islam are. I said "nearly impossible", however, not "completely impossible". Finally, I just want to close this post with another terrifying reminder to ALL OF US from the Quran: "There is for you an excellent example (to follow) in Abraham and those with him, when they said to their people: 'We are clear of you and of whatever ye worship besides Allah: we have rejected you, and there has arisen, between us and you, enmity and hatred forever,- unless you believe in Allah and Him alone." (Sura 60, verse 4).

RIFQA UPDATE: This Is What I Was Afraid Of.

CLICK HERE FOR BACKGROUND INFO ON THE RIFQA STORY

The Muslim parents of an Ohio teenager who fled to Florida fearing an "honor killing" for converting to Christianity today blamed their daughter's fears on the husband and wife pastors who took their daughter in and didn't report her presence for more than two weeks.

"Neither Mr. or Mrs. Bary have ever threatened the life of their daughter, and patiently await their daughter's safe return," Craig McCarthy, a lawyer for Mohamed Bary and his wife, said in a statement issued today to "Good Morning America."

Fathima Rifqa Bary, who goes by Rifqa, left home in New Albany, Ohio, last month and hopped on a bus to Orlando to meet with husband and wife pastors Blake and Beverly Lorenz, who she met through a Facebook prayer group for the couple's non-denominational Global Revolution Church.

The couple have become the 17-year-old girl's biggest allies, saying she has told them that her father threatened to kill her when he found out she had secretly become a Christian.

"To anyone's knowledge, Rifqa never told anyone that she was frightened while living with her parents in Ohio. Those words only came out of her mouth after being missing for two and a half weeks and surfacing in the tight embrace of Mr. Lorenz, who had not promptly reported that the runaway had been in his home," the parents' statement read.

Lorenz could not immediately be reached today for comment, but told ABCNews.com Tuesday that he and his wife weren't even aware Rifqa's parents had reported her missing until she'd been at their house for more than two weeks.

Bary is now in Florida fighting to bring his daughter home. A judge Monday ordered Rifqa to remain in the custody of the Florida Department of Children and Families while authorities in that state and Ohio determine whether or not she'd be safe at home.

"If this case is perceived as a clash of religions, it is because Mr. Lorenz recklessly and without authorization put someone else's child in front of television cameras to
publicly renounce her previous faith," McCarthy said in the statement. "The parents who love Rifqa are in the best position now to protect her from the mess that Mr. Lorenz has made."

But Lorenz told ABCNews.com Tuesday that they were the people Rifqa sought out for protection.

============UPDATE============

from Atlas

I said this before and I'll say it again. The courts and and the cops have no clue what they are dealing with. Subversive groups like CAIR , ISNA and MPAC have been successful at shutting down any discourse on Islam. Anyone who tries to escape is in real danger. The media have subjugated themselves to Islam and in their silence are complict to Islamic misogyny, oppression and suppression. Have you noticed how quiet CAIR has been on this? One can only wonder what their "involvement" is behind the scenes.Rifqa Bary needs experts to testify on her behalf. The leading scholars on Islam - Ibn Warraq, Robert Spencer, Wafa Sultan (living in hiding in the US because she speaks the truth about Islam), Nonie Darwish should be called to testify. This girl cannot be returned to her devout Muslim home.

There is no more compelling testimony than Rifqa's plea for her life made to a Florida reporter. Here's the video. Here is the text of Rifqa's cry.

Just as the the West failed Amina and Sarah Said in life and death, the West cannot fail Rifqa Bary in life or it will result in her death. This cannot be her fate.

Based on the cops' ignorance, they will err on the side of political correctness and expose this teenage girl to the prospect of an early, horrible death. This reminds me of the FBI's capitulation on the Said honor killings. They too bowed to Islam and They pulled the description of HONOR KILLING from the Said honor killing murders/ wanted poster. The FBI copped a plea "As far as we're concerned until motive is proven in a court of law, this is just a homicide".

How many girls have to die? How many girls have to live in abject terror?

Police Have Questions About Ohio Runaway’s Story Fox News (hat tip Greg)

COLUMBUS, Ohio—A police detective is questioning the claim of an Ohio
teenager who says she ran away to Florida fearing for her life because she
converted from Islam to Christianity.Sgt. Jerry Cupp, head of the Columbus
Police Department’s missing persons’ bureau, says the girl’s father seems
genuinely concerned and worried about his 17-year-old daughter

Cupp said Wednesday that police tracked the teen from Columbus to Orlando,
Fla., after interviewing a minister from Kansas City who had been in touch with
the girl.

An Orlando judge on Monday ordered the girl into the custody of the Florida
Department of Children and Families until a hearing next weekThe teenager, who
is not a U.S. citizen, says she fears her family would hurt her, kill her or
send her back to her native Sri Lanka.

=========END UPDATE=========

This is happening in America. Listen to her cry. This is here now. WATCH THIS VIDEO. It is the most compelling plea I have ever seen.

This is so tragic, so frightening - we must act. Can someone get the name of this girl's lawyer? Experts must testify on her behalf. We will raise the money to fly scholars on Islam to Orlando to speak for the veracity of this girl's claims. Please contact me off line if you know anything. Please. Quickly.

The court does not know what it is dealing with: the obfuscation and lies of the propaganda wing of Islam. Florida took emergency jurisdiction until the court can confirm, but Ohio will take over the case and investigate........"the child should be returned to Ohio".

Girl Says Family Wants To Kill Her For Being Christian

ORLANDO, Fla. -- An Ohio girl ran away to Orlando because she said her
family threatened to kill her for converting to Christianity. Rifqa Bary, 17,
said she was threatened by her family because she converted from Islam to
Christianity.
"What did your father say to you?" WFTV reporter Mary Nguyen asked.

"He said he would kill me!" replied Bary.

They have to kill me. My blood is now halal which means because I am now a Christian, I am from a Muslim background, it is an honor, if they love god more than me, they have to do this."

This is not just some threat. This is reality. This is truth. This is reality.

This is to break the heart. The status hearing is set for next Friday. Something must be done. You can hear the cries of Amina and Sarah, Aqsa, Rand ............. all of those girls, you can hear them in her voice.

I beg you to help this child. This girl is in real trouble. The court does not understand. They will buy into the Muslim lies. Apostasy is death in Islam. If this girl is sent back to her family, they will ship her off to Sri Lanka and we will never hear from her again.

Here's the backstory: She got away!

A week or so ago I blogged about a missing Muslim girl who converted to Christianity. I wrote: Atlas Shrugs: Fathima Rifqa Bary: I hope she got away.

Police had been looking for information about Rifqa, a central Ohio teenager who vanished nearly three weeks ago.

The teenager's cell phone has been turned off and her Facebook account deactivated, Kocot reported.

According to police, the girl's friends told detectives that it was possible she ran away because of conflicting religious beliefs in her home.

She's alive! And in court in a custody battle that could send the girl to her death. I pray they have experts who know about honor killings testify.

The West's abject failure: the gruesome gallery of honor killings in the West.

Addendum from Always On Watch:

I have worked in Christian education for over two decades. After watching the above video of Rifka Bary, I thought back to the mid 1980s, to one of the Pakistani girls in my sixth-grade class. She wrote in her end-of-year essay that (1) she was a secret Christian and (2) she could never tell her parents about her conversion. She further stated that the reason she never learned her Bible verses during the school year was that her parents didn't allow her to have a Bible in the house. Back then, I didn't know the truth about Islam. Back then, I was one of those fools who believed "Islam is just another religion."

I often think of this girl now. I wonder where she is and what's happened to her. Grapevine news this past spring has it that she was sent back to Pakistan and married off to an old man, one of the family cousins. Nobody has heard from her in a long, long time. Her older sisters, college material while the girl in my class was not, stayed here in the United States.

My point....Lest any reader of this post think that Rifqa's story is automatically false, think again.

The Case For Rifqa

I am assuming by now most here know about the teenage convert from Islam to Christianity, Rifqa.

I read in the comments both over at youtube and Atlas Shrugs that some people (I think all of them are Muslims) think she's lying. "Its all scripted..." one of them commented, followed by some cussing.

I hope that we and people like us are not swayed by anything that these low-life bastards say. This issue is really serious. Its that girl's life on the line and I don't think we should wait till her head is chopped off to realize she was right.

If it would save this girl's life, I am willing to reveal my real name and stand up for this girl's right to live and worship freely. If there is anything that you guys think I can do to help her, please let me know through email avenging.apostate(at)gmail(dot)com
