Hamas do not wish to push Israel into the sea. they just want the israelis out of their country who's borders are defined by the United Nations and Israel refuses to abide by.Where to begin?
Why make Hamas the bad guy ? they have had a cease fire for over a year and they only wish to enforce a UN mandate. surely our armies should be helping them :-)
There is no democracy in Iraq of Afghanistan. people have tribal loyalties and simply wait to be told how to vote by the local leaders.

PS Jonz please dont call Hamas islamofascists that is just ignorance. They believe in democracy they have tolerance of other faiths. they Hate Al-Qaeda (in fact if Al-Qaeda went to Palastine they would find Hamas shooting at them. They are happy for the Jews to stay in their country. just under the rule of palastine.
They do not deny the rights of jews to exist. They simply want the Israeli occupation to leave their country and go back to where they should be (the UN defined borders). Hamas do not force any kind of strict muslim code on the people or anything like that.

you've gotta wonder, is this ignorance, or compliance/deception.
You see, however much the Jihad (political/violent) bothers me, what bothers me even more is the non-Muslims that push their agenda for them. It can't just be as simple as ignorance.

It's all very well to support the Palestinians in getting their own state, but quite another implying that Israel should be replaced with a state inclusive of the Palestinians.
Democracy by it's very nature means that the majority vote is in power. If the majority are Muslim, and vote for harsh Sharia law, freedom in the Middle East will be fucking fucked for non-muslims.

The point I believe of the 'blogosphere' is to have debate. I am wholeheartedly against the removing of comments that one simply disagrees with, it goes against the nature of what we are trying to achieve here.
I for one would never delete comments unless they were illegal.

You are defending Hamas, which is a terrorist organisation, whose charter is to replace the nation of Israel with an Islamic nation, with Sharia law. The Hamas "president" said they want to Israel to retreat to it's pre-67 borders, because they do not have the force to do otherwise. Not because that's what they want. Read their charter. Watch their propoganda videos. Watch Palestinian Authority television.
Maybe if the surrounding Arab states hadn't sought to destroy Israel in '67 this wouldn't have happened.
