Remember that Indonesia is the most populated Muslim country in the world. Now we have a volcano there threatening to blow its top and burn everyones fool head who won't git while the getting is good.
What's fascinating is that in such a Muslim country many of the villagers are waiting for a man name Marijan to tell them when to leave. So who is Marijan? Oh he's the keeper of the mountain and here's what the Telegraph article says:
Merapi is steeped in mythology. The summit of the mountain is inhabited by spirits of the dead, Mr Marijan explained. Every year he carries out a ritual, offering cones of mountain rice and sacrificing chickens.
Ritual sacrifices to a mountain? Surely that's Idolatry. Where's the Jemaah Islamiyah now or do they not care when its one of their own practicing such evil?
Mullahs love to spew fire and brimstone whenever a natural disaster occurs. Tsunami, earthquake, volcano...all in the most populous Muslim country in the world. What do the mullahs have to say now?

Such beliefs are an example of Jahiliyya - remains of the indigenous pre-Islamic culture. They are hated and feared by the orthodox Muslim clergy because they remind people of their pre-Islamic identity, and so undermine the unity of the Ummah.
Destruction of Jahiliyya (culturicide) is a major objective when Wahhabi Islam takes over a country. Hence the destruction of the Buddhist statues in Afghanistan and the threat to the pre-Islamic structures of Egypt.
We can expect to see widespread cultural vandalism as Islam tightens its stranglehold on Europe.
In some ways this is happening already. European children are being encouraged to forget their historic cultural identities in the interests of 'Multiculturalism' (ie Islamization)

Anybody who has an opinion of Islam, looking at Islam from the western cultural point of view is at a disadvantage. That is the disadvantage of ignorance. If you want to know what Islam is about, try reading the Koran. If you then still think Islam is a peaceful and tolerant religion then you haven't been paying attention. If you think terrorists are just extremists, you are missing the point. Islam is a religion at war with every other religion. The war will only end when all other religions have been abolished. Any discussion about right and wrong on any issue is irrelevant to a muslim. The war will just continue as it has for hundreds of years.
