How Laughable is the MSM's Denial THAT IT'S ISLAM?
If it wasn't so tragic for our future, the absolute phobia, the NEW NEW Islamophobia, "fear of mentioning Islam is the problem" erupts like oozing wounds on the dead stinking carcass of MSM. It is just too funny. 'Residents' is apparently the new descriptor for Muslim terrorists vs 'foreigners' since they are now 'home grown.' And everyone is stumbling around with absolutely no explanation how these young men, the majority never out of a bountiful welfare state of unbelievable wealth, just want to kill some people. Of course we know who those 'people' are but don't say it! Oh and now 'terror' is an 'ideology' according to some idiot in the Canadian security services. And, gosh darn it, no one can figure out why these 'residents' just want to kill some infid.... don't say it!

A few days ago Slate had the most moronic article I've read in quite a while on the topic of what motivates the terrorists. Slate's conclusion? Going to the gym too much.
They describe how most of the 9/11, 3/11, and 7/7 terrorists were fitness enthusiasts. The article is half-joking/half earnest, in the gag-inducing way of Jon Stewart.
Their conclusion: "So, should we shut down all gyms in the name of fighting terrorism? Of course not. It's a ludicrous idea. But no more ludicrous, perhaps, than the infiltration of Western mosques."

CSIS initially went to some pains to announce that "this is no reflection on any one religion", before toming it down to the startling conclusion that terrorism itself is an ideology.
I'm wondering if these religion-non-descript terrorists are in cahoots with the Basques and the IRA as well. Perhaps they get together with the Red Brigade and hash out the esoteric philosophical groundings of the ideology.
Whereas Marxism sees the inherent contradiction of capitalism leading to an inevitable revolution of the proletariat, the ideology of terrorism sees a "big fucking bang is really really cool and it'll get us like virgins Insha Allah"
