Russia delivers second missile ship to China

sovr_1.jpg
Russia has delivered a second advanced Sovremenny guided missile destroyer to China that will boost Chinese naval power and give Beijing greater capabilities to attack U.S. aircraft carriers.

The destroyer was built in a St. Petersburg shipyard and transferred to the Chinese navy on Sept. 28.

A first ship was transferred to China in late 2005.

The ships are part of a $1.4-billion deal signed in 2002.

LMAO . maybe we should rename this Right Wingers Alliance ;)

4 out of the last 4 posts have nothing to do with Islam.

Yeah, but it all has to do with the War on Terror. China and Russia are simply using Iran as their terrorist wing, in the same way that Iran uses Hizbollah and Hamas as their terrorist wings.

Check out this post by the great, well, me:

http://ijpublicpolicy.blogspot.com/2005/08/should-we-destroy-ourselves.html

"I think at this juncture we need to take into consideration the idea that Iran itself may be just another unaccountable terror cell several layers below the face of our true enemy. Look at the alliance as it has presented itself. Look at the nations of the world, as their armies line up, as their ideologies call forth, as their contracts are called to account. If all the chips were layed out on the table. Who would be with us, and who would be against us? And where is the fault line?

Clearly, China, Russia, and Iran stand in opposition to us, and it seems as if Iran is the fault line. Iran is the battleground where the War on Terror may finally break out into the open. Or, it could be that just as Bin Laden hides in Afghanistan, while his martyrs do the dirty work, our enemy may lay in hiding in the capitols of Beijing and Moscow, while Iran plays the martyr and functions as the terrorist arm of China, in this war against American hegemony.

China seems to be working on a longer-term plan to overtake the United States in the global theater. This is a plan which looks foolish and futile unless one considers the notion that China could believe that the United States has shocks coming it's way which will leave it crippled.

The problem for China and Russia, if they would only correctly size America up as an opponent, is American can not afford to lose. At some point, we will decide that we will have to go to any length to put an end to the Islamofascist menace, especially if Russia and China empower and embolden them. Even a severely wounded America could, and would, strike a lethal blow to anyone she decided had hurt her.

This is why I believe both China and Russia will, ultimately, stand down in this fight. They will oppose the United States on the Security Council, but ultimately, they have more to win by staying out of our way, and allowing us to spend our energy on the fight against Iran. Whether the Mullahs know it or not, Iran is just a terrorist cell doing the bidding of China-Russia Alliance.

By the way, it is my opinion, that China is also using North Korea in the same way it is using Iran. All this protesting that China is doind against the NoKo nuclear test is just a bunch of bullshit.

Ah, you noticed this too, jonz...

I knew it would happen--I knew the Nork Nuke News would take all the focus for at least the next 24 hours to come.

It's not that it's irrelevant, far from it, I think it's best to show its relevance by tying it to the specter of a nuke in the hands of Iran or, worse, an Islamic terrorist organization. You know, like the idea that perhaps Ahmadinejad arranged it with Kim in order to probe the world's reaction.

If you think this has nothing to do with with the real war....this is the real war.

North Korea's work is probably being financed by Iran, is undoubtedly a joint effort, and Russia who protects Iran, sells China it's MOST advanced systems, while THEY protect NK, AND Iran and weigh us down by compelling us to reserve advanced weapons systems (which might be needed over or in Iran) in case we have to take them on over Taiwan.

These nations and the killers and those who support them are functional allies.

I'm reminded of a post on ScottSA's blog, on the danger of China, especially this quote:

"While we may be preoccupied with Islam and its unrefutable dangers, our children will wonder why we spent no effort at all watching the true menace of the 21st century."

I regard this as territority I don't want to cover, because of the risk of making wild predictions, of approaching the land of conspiratorial speculations and, most of all, detracting from my focus (effectively becoming, as the phrase goes, "Jack of all trades, master of none").

Could be Iran is a proxy of Russia, or North Korea is a proxy for Iran, or the other way round, or all the things together--a tangled web, in short. Prediction is a minefield where even professional, experienced analysts stumble horribly.

I'm not into wargaming, much less into oracular visions. Therefore, I strive to concentrate on the three things I specialize in: the threat of Islam, the unholy alliance of the Left with it, and the ideological defense of Zionism in particular and the non-Muslim world in general against their combined onslaught. As for tomorrow: I don't think any human can be blamed for not seeing the future to great distances, when such things are, according to my beliefs, reserved to G-d and given by Him to the few He chooses.

I don't think it is a wild prediction. Russia sells them the nuke materials. Then Russia goes to the UN and says they shouldn't test a nuke. Then, when we try to impose sanctions, Russia says, Uh no, we better not go that far, let's just tell them not to do it again.

China is even more powerful than Russia. They could stop this whole thing, but they do not.

It doesn't take a specialist in geopolitics to see that something fishy is going on here.

It was a commonly discussed thing a couple of years ago that the French were trying to triangulate power by currying favor with the Arab world. well, that didn't work very well. Likewise, Russia and china may think they are beating us, but the whole thing is going to blow up in their faces eventually too.

It is a pathetic game they are playing.

the difference is, the second the Islamists even touch China, the Chinese will turn the entire ME to glass.
