Just caught the show....Aug2 .....as ever, really enjoyed it! Thanks for the attention on my Post...As ever I like your brand of Conservatism...although I still can't see you as one....more like just a realist... Like me!! LOL. My girlfriend has been ill with Tonsillitis, (we thought it might be glandular fever!) for most of the last week.....so I haven't really had much chance to blog...should be able to do some this weekend....so your links re Chomsky are top priority! Oh and PS....property is £250,000 approx average in the UK, as in $500,000 approx here in the UK...if it was £500,000 average...the (old) Prime ministers head would be on a bloody stake out side of Parliament!!!LOL! As I said, I would like for you to be on our show sometime, AND, by the way, we are going to be starting a new endeavor soon which I believe you would want to be part of.
I will explain when we have it planned out more.
As far as the misunderstanding about housing, the reason I did that was because when I was in London, the average home was well over $1,000,000 American dollars.
My father told me about selling his home, and he told me that some tall, beautfiul, black Somali "model" came to buy it. (My dad live in the UK.) In other words, as best as I can tell (and he's old, so he wouldn't know) he was talking about a major model (and you can guess).
Point is, what I learned is that housing is very, very expensive, and I am never sure whether people use $ signs and Pounds interchangeably, or not.
By the way, where I live the average price of a home is EVER MORE EXPENSIVE than where you live. And, I am solidly middle class. I am not a rich guy.
So, America has the same problem. Well, California does anyway.
Here's another thing. I live relatively near Disneyland. I do not have a digital video camera, but soon, I will get one and I will post a post where you will see that within blocks of Disneyland there is a neighborhood which is basically Saudi Arabia.
I'll just drive down there to Disneyland, turn on the cameera, and film myself driving down the street.
You'll see what I mean.
