There was no such thing as Al Qaeda in Iraq until George Bush and John McCain decided to invade Iraq

Obama's campaign of change.

What is it about that line, which denies the realities of the larger objective state of the world?

No Iraq, no problems? Less problems? Obama is missing something. There is some element of his makeup which is a vacuum when it comes to the way the world works. Khameini, Ahmadinejad, Putin, Jintao, the AL Saud, the Al Sabah, are not impressed by "Change we can believe in", I promise you. They are salivating at the underlying meaning inside Barack Obama of his proposal for the USA-Muslim nation kumbaya meeting.

I don't think it can be argued right now that while this war, like any, is not perfectly run, WE ARE WINNING IT.

So, meanwhile from the Congressional Quarterly.....
Senate Democrats Plan Long-Term Strategy for Guiding Iraq Debate

Senate Democrats, outmaneuvered this week on the Iraq debate, are pressing on with plans for a legislative offensive over the next two months to alter the course of the war.

Actively behind the measure, Feingold, Durbin, Levin.

Last July, an amendment by Levin and Reed to require redeployment from Iraq to begin within 120 days drew 52 votes, eight short of the 60 needed to overcome a filibuster.

Alter the winning course. Alter the winning course?

Except for being against anything republican, and despising Bush, why would Harry Reid and Nancy Pelosi seek to change the course of a war being won?

This war in Iraq we are winning remains unpopular because the democratic party right now, and the media, have decided it must be.

Need I remind the readers that the worst lead people on this planet, the Palestinians, have suffered manifestly for that. Lead into permanent rejection, religious war, victimology and permanent poverty, they have paid a heavy price.

Today the democrat party at the national level has decided it is better for the democratic party to ensure defeat in Iraq, for votes, and they enforce that uniform adherence with the example of Joe Lieberman. Who can speak out if in the privacy of the cool side of the pillow one of them wonders what they are doing?

What ARE they doing?

According to my well informed friend in Iraq, Al Qaeda did indeed exist in Iraq prior to the war. And yes, Saddam the Sunni was well aware of it.

This was a mutually beneficial relationship.

Obama is parroting the left-wing, as usual.

Obama sees the US in the same way that T. Boone Pickens and other corporate vultures see vulnerable corporations.

As a takeover move for profit. The US can be dissassembled and sold for profit to the highest bidder.

The US Clinton administration had already set a precedent for doing this, giving and selling strategic assets to the Chinese and the Russians.

Obama feels much less allegiance to the US than Clinton did. Expect a massive high-tech yard sale.
