All of us, every single man, woman, and child on the face of the Earth were born with the same unalienable rights; to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. And, if the governments of the world can't get that through their thick skulls, then, regime change will be necessary.

Muslims Protest in Los Angeles: "Love Long Hitler! Put Jews in Ovens!"
I think racism is bad, but I believe both sides are equally at fault in this crisis. I would be perfectly fine if Israel and Palestine ceased to exist.
We now return you to your regularly-scheduled one-sided P.C. hand-wringing.
You said, ----------------------------------------------- I think racism is bad, but I believe both sides are equally at fault in this crisis. I would be perfectly fine if Israel and Palestine ceased to exist. -----------------------------------------------
I hope you don't really mean that. It is the Palestinians who keep rejecting every opportunity at peace. If you do mean what you wrote, can you give us one instance when Israel fired the first shot after a peace treaty had been signed by both sides? If you can come up with one, please give us your source.
Sorry if it looks like I'm taking sides or blaming Israel for this crisis. I just think both countries are equally to blame and the sooner they both kill each other off, the better for humanity.
I know Israel is between a rock and a hard place, but they are just as antagonistic and hard-nosed as Palestine.
Like I said, it's not P.C.; I just hate both sides equally, that's all.
Anonymous, You're intelligent. You can make distinctions. You know that Israel has a pluralistic society which includes people of all races and religions, and that these people vote, and have positions in the Israeli Parliament. Whtat's more, they have a constitution which protects human rights.
Gaza does not have a pluralistic society. They do not allow Jews in their country. They do not respect Human Rights.
Basically, Anonymous, what you are doing is throwing your hands up in frustration. You know there are differences between the two societies. You're not dumb.

No they are not. It is the Palestinians who refuse to live in peace. Check out this Brigitte Gabriel Interview. Now do you still think both sides are equally at fault?
Again, I realized I'm posting on a blog that is very biased in favor of one side, so me stating my opinion that both sides are equally to blame and have both been unreasonably antagonistic throughout modern history is not going to win me any admirers here.
I used to think both sides could get along, but you can always count on the stupidity and arrogance of politicians and generals to ruin any chance at peace in that region.
So I've given up caring. As have the belligerents on both sides of this crisis, which is why they are still fighting today. My hope is that many on both sides continue to care and work towards a two-state solution and embrace peace, but that is the type of idealism that can get you killed in that part of the world.
Israel is doing what it thinks it must do to survive. Hamas wants to drive the Jews into the sea! Do you know anything about the depraved manner in which they indoctrinate their children to hate Israel, hate Jews, hate the west, and hate all non Muslims? Its like some kind of really sick and not very funny, dark comedy.
Did you see the interview with Brigitte Gabriel, I linked to in my last post? If you haven't you should. Than you should come back here and tell us how Israel is being "unreasonably antagonistic" in light of what she says.
Only one side is working toward a two state solution, and its not the Palestinians. The Palestinians are not willing to peacefully coexist with Israel and they won't even be willing to tolerate the existence of Israel until they have been forced into an unconditional surrender and lose all hope of ever destroying the state of Israel. They don't just want to destroy Israel either. They are Jihadists, and want Islam to dominate world and every state on earth to be run by Sharia. Read that again. They are Jihadists, and want Islam to dominate world and every state on earth to be run by Sharia. That's a good reason to side with Israel over Hamas and the Palestinians.
The Palestinian and Isreali sides are not morally equivalent. If you really think they are look more carefully and don't just look at Politically Correct websites, or listen to the mainstream media.
I'm not being P.C., just brutally honest. Just because I detest both sides equally and the side you support is coming under criticism doesn't necessarily mean I support political correctness or mainstream media (both of which are biased in favor of Israel anyway).
Anonymous, If you say the two are the same, morally or intellectually, then you are conflating two things which are extremely different. That is either because you are ignorant, or are choosing to be ignorant.
Such a conflation shows that you are not using your brain.
That's a good rebuttal to Anonymous' moral relativism and unwillingness to accept that one side refuses peace and forces the other one into war. Anonymous, do you really want a second holocaust on your conscious? People like you refusing to take sides, won't change the would view of people belonging to Islamic terrorist organizations like Hamas, Islamic Jihad, or Al Qeada. It will simply make them see you as a useful idiot, if not weak and ready to submit to their will.
While a 2nd Holocaust would be bad for the people involved, it would be no worse than the Rwandan genocide or the Turkish genocides, both of which were rightfully yawned at.

"Long live" or "Rest in peace"? Someone is confused.
I used to think the US was five or ten years behind Europe in Islamification, but it now appears the gap is narrowing fast.
Welcome to our world!
Pastorius,
One of the few good things I can say about this is that it will get more people to see these evil morons for who they are.
EUrabian,
No, I think we're right there with you. Great, huh?
Damien,
Yes, I hope they continue their temper tantrum from now on. This is, as far as I can tell, normal Muslim behavior.

Lovely. And we just elected some guy named Hussein to lead our nation. Great. :-(

Which country is better?

Anonymous,
Your cracks about the genocides in Rwanda and Armenia are beyond the pale.
You are either joking, or you are a frightening individual.
Please go join up with some people of your caliber. You are not wanted here.
Hey, I'm not here to be politically correct.
Why else would I post at a blog that proudly rips on Muhammad and calls him a pig. :)
Everyone has a sacred cow and I like to not discriminate when it comes to beating them, no matter who I offend.
