Plane crashes in the Hudson River after being downed by a flock of geese. And now the passengers are being quarantined?!?!?!?!?
It's probably nothing. Just a semantics thing. They probably mean the passengers are being given medical aid, stabilized, and debriefed by the authorities ...
Probably.

Maybe NYC has a statute, you fall in the Hudson you get quarantined? It used to be practically that way if you fell in the Charles. Love That Dirty Water...
PILOT of the YEAR!!!!
Fox News stated that at impact, despite every passenger being properly fastened in their seatbelts, everyone hit the ceiling upon the hard landing, one woman complained of a cut on her leg, others bruised and cold.
About the time of Bloomberg's statement, they reported that there was one infant on board. I cannot fathom the emotions of that experience while caring for an infant!
Thank God they are all alive and safe now.
I think the reporter used the word "quarantined" when he should have said, "they've been taken to a peaceful place to calm down."
RRA,
Good theory. It has the ring of truth.
;-)
Quarantined until they can be defiled by the authorities.
Is the Charles that polluted? I passed by it on the way to my Jihadi demo at Copley Square last night. Who'd have guessed?
(It's bloody cold here!)
Michael,
Throw a match in it. If it's polluted, the river will catch on fire.
It happened in Ohio:

Actually the Charles has been cleaned up pretty well the past few years. But at the time it was written, the song said "I love that dirty water, Boston you're my home" for a reason!
Gonna be even colder tomorrow. How did the Copley Square demo go?
Pictures of the (freezing cold) pro-terror demo can be viewed here;
