For one whole week now, I have been unable to update my blog, A New Dark Age Is Dawning: It has been ‘frozen’ for further investigation because Blogger fears that my blog is a “spam blog”.
You will know that it certainly is no such thing..
I have given my blog my all. It will be devastating for me if I shall no longer be able to continue with my weblog after having done so much work on it to-date.
May I therefore request that all of you help me to continue with my blogspot by emailing Blogger (use the email address help@blogger.com), protesting that the blogspot be ‘unfrozen’ and allowed to continue.
Your assistance will be greatly appreciated.
Kind regards,
Mark Alexander

Mark - the same thing happened to me and I asked for an investigation when I got their alert.
I was up and running again in a few days. I think their robot see the list of links on our blog pages and interprets them sometimes as spam. The more links yo have the more the robot notices you.
I'll protest for you. Did they give you any more information than that about why they did it?
Hi WC:
That's a good idea. I think I will ask for an investigation too.
This week has been mighty frustrating for me. The 'freeze' seems to be never-ending.
Yes, I do have a lot of links up there; so maybe Googlebot does interpret the links as "spam".
If you could email Blogger for me, I would very much appreciate it.
Citizen Warrior:
Thank you for protesting.
Did they give me any more info? Not really. Only that my weblog had been picked up as a potential "spam blog". But then, when I clicked on the link they gave me, I got the message that they could see that I was probably a real person, so it was probably not "spam". Still, a few emails and a week later, they have not restored my blog to full functionality.
I am perplexed (and very disappointed) by the whole thing.
I've already written Blogger on Mark's behalf.
What is most disturbing here is how long the problem has lasted! This should already have been resolved in Mark's favor.
Thank you so much, Always, for emailing Blogger on my behalf.
I find it incredible that this problem should have lasted soooo long!
Mark, though I still haven't gotten around to reading your book... I have just written an e-mail in protest. Let's hope it helps.
Elisabeth:
Thank you so much. I do appreciate your help very much. And I want you to know that.
Do read my book if and when you can. And please do write me to say what you think about it. You can write to me here: markalexander1@btinternet.com
Kindest regards,
Mark
Blogger has also ruined my blog. It's not been freakin' spamming! Blogger won't even answer my email.
Vigilante:
I'm sorry to hear this. What's the name of the blog they have "ruined"? Is it ruined, or simply frozen?
Blogger never answered even one of my emails to them; and I believe they never answered anyone else's who supported me, either.
All I can say is this: You'll have to be patient. If I remember correctly, it took about two and a half weeks to get my blog back, up and running.
Some things I had posted had been expunged when it was returned to me; but that was to be expected.
Good luck with it!
A big thanks to you, Mark for your response. It means a lot for some one to feel my pain. Collateral damage in the war against spam, huh?
Vigilante:
I feel your pain all right. I suffered the same pain too; and for about two and a half weeks. It was most frustrating. Alas, it seems to me that the more one tries to hurry Blogger up, the slower they seem to be.
My advice would be this: Be polite with them at all times; do not show great frustration; appeal to reason; tell them how much you would appreciate their prompt assistance. And pray to God for the rest, especially for lots of patience! ;-)
