I posted just a link to this several months ago. Since then I got schmart & learned how to embed videos.

I pinched it from Jawa Report. Made by a soldier (I believe) in Afghanistan.

Special dedication for all the mozzies out there who banned music from cars and buses and don't let women drive.

Dang, andre. Have to watch it when I get home. YouTube blocked here at day job. What's the tune?

How will the troops feel [upon their return to the States] when the discover that we have imported millions of the enemy to these shores..and given them the jobs and benefits that the Vet's deserve.

That's gonna be a mindfuck on them like you wouldn't believe. And with former detainees housed right nearby.

C-CS

Excellent CS.

This was the only version I could find with good sound and was giving me trouble loading. Googles sounded better but wouldn't take the embed.

I'm glad you liked it. The download for Ipod link does work very well (& it's FREE!). At least on I-Tunes.

Hey, our Muslim buddy's back. from his dicktion I'd say he's had a beer or 2.

Andre -- if you like Enya I take it you like Clannad as well?

Yes, I like Clannad as well as Loreena McKennitt, Sarah McLaughlin and Maggie Reilly. Can you realize? Music made by WOMEN? LOL!

Another one of my favorites:

I recognize and like all you listed except (haven't heard of) Maggie Reilly. My wife is especially fond of McKennitt. Listened to her "Christmas" album alot this year.

First heard Clannad in the Last of the Mohicans movie, mesmerized by it straight out.

I tend to prefer a woman's singing over a man's, regardless of genre. Must be the womanizer in me (oh yes I am such a friggin' schmoozer)

And another one

And something completely different and clearly not for the eyes of a would-be modest jihadi

Never heard of Maggie Reilly? She worked a lot with Mike Oldfield. She has a lot of good songs, hard to believe you never heard Moonlight Shadow.

midnight rider said...

All I'm familiar with from Oldfield is Tubular Bells. Going to have to look into this.
