And then the conspiracy theories began ..FREDDIE MAC CFO FOUND DEAD.. SUICIDE?

David Kellermann, acting chief financial officer of Freddie Mac, committed suicide in his Hunter Mill Estates home Wednesday morning.

Fairfax County Police spokeswoman Mary Anne Jennings tells WTOP Kellermann, 41, police responded to the home after family members called police around 5 a.m.

"We were called from inside the house to come investigate an apparent suicide," Jennings says.

"We're not going to give you details of the condition of the body, except to say it was an apparent suicide." Neighbors driving by the scene tell WTOP they are surprised to hear about Kellermann's suicide. He has been with Freddie Mac for more than 16 years.

Maybe he had a lousy marriage.

Maybe his kids hated him.

Maybe he KNEW SOMETHING.

Maybe it LOOKS like suicide.

Maybe this is simple.

Maybe it isn't.

Will we ever trust enough to accept it completely as suicide if the coroner says so?

I wonder what we think of the deaths of David Kelly and J. Clifford Baxter here.

Oh never mind, they didn't happen under a Democrat. Let's just move on and pretend they never existed.

You might be interested to know that not only do I doubt Ken Lay is really dead, but I also wonder about William Casey's mortal "stroke".

it would have been a good idea to have 24-7 security surveillance on this guy and any other CEO of the bailed-out companies just in case anyone tried to take out their frustrations on one of them
