From Marcel, with thanks to Michael Travis:
the end of the idea of the two-state solution
The US led 2 state solution is not a road Map to peace but to the extermination of Israel.
The Arabs do not need another state or any land ,they have more than enough already.
The 'Palestinians' are used by the nations as the tool to wipe Israel off the map.
How can any bible believing,God fearing Christian be indifferent ,silent or against Israel at this late hour unless he has fallen away and become reprobate ?
Israel is God's plumbline in these last of the last days.
A terminal (fatal) error has been made by the nations.
In their insane pride they assume to make war against God and not be touched.
All the nations ,especially the US,UN,EU are guilty of the greatest attempted theft in the history of the world.
Stealing land from the Jewish people to appease the tribe of greedy pigs who have more than enough land and are too evil and intolerant to permit any other group to exist near them as they trample the whole earth to export their false religion and violence .
I stand ready to rejoice when God judges this evil Islam and it is no more.
AND I PRAY THAT IT IS SOON !
Only then will the Arabs live in peace with the Jews.
What the nations are ignorant of is the price they will all pay for this evil they have chosen to partake of.
What they do to Israel will come on them.
Mevasseret Adumim, the Harbinger of the Hills”.Tell the nations to go to hell and BUILD,BUILD,BUILD on the land God has given you.

End Game Israel
Why do the heathen rage, and the people imagine a vain thing?
The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against the LORD, and against his anointed, saying,
Let us break their bands asunder, and cast away their cords from us.
He that sitteth in the heavens shall laugh: the Lord shall have them in derision.
Then shall he speak unto them in his wrath, and vex them in his sore displeasure.
Yet have I set my king upon my holy hill of Zion.
I will declare the decree: the LORD hath said unto me, Thou art my Son; this day have I begotten thee.
Psalm 2
This end game has become much more than Israel alone can bear as it is the whole world against Israel.
The nations have united to side with evil Islam against the thorn in Islam's side, Israel.
Little do the proud fools understand that they have been set up for God's wrath and destruction.
Psalm 83 also speaks of this doomed confederation against Israel.
God laughs at the puny humans and their 'big' plans against Him and Israel.
The showdown of cosmic proportions has begun.
A compliant and easily malleable Israeli leader is needed to bring about the plans of the evil western globalist leaders and that was who the sheep of Israel headed for slaughter gave them when they elected Olmert,Livni.
Netanyahu has been warned that he also must be soft and pliable to accomplish the last moves to set in place the dismanteling of Israel for the last global empire partnership of iron and clay to succeed.
There is only one thing in the way and it is not Hamas or Islam's global terrorism and jihad against Israel ,instead it is Israel.
Israel has fallen into a big trap she is not able to extricate herself from and only the Holy One of Israel can and will save Israel.
Daniel the Jewish prophet revealed the final global kingdom on earth at the time Messiah returns to deliver Israel and crush all her enemies.
'You watched while a stone was cut out without hands, which struck the image on its feet of iron and clay, and broke them in pieces.
And the fourth kingdom shall be as strong as iron, inasmuch as iron breaks in pieces and shatters everything; and like iron that crushes, that kingdom will break in pieces and crush all the others.
Whereas you saw the feet and toes, partly of potter's clay and partly of iron, the kingdom shall be divided; yet the strength of the iron shall be in it, just as you saw the iron mixed with ceramic clay.
And as the toes of the feet were partly of iron and partly of clay, so the kingdom shall be partly strong and partly fragile.
As you saw iron mixed with ceramic clay, they will mingle with the seed of men; but they will not adhere to one another, just as iron does not mix with clay.
And in the days of these kings the God of heaven will set up a kingdom which shall never be destroyed; and the kingdom shall not be left to other people; it shall break in pieces and consume all these kingdoms, and it shall stand forever.'
Daniel 2
The New World Order Globalist assume that they are the iron but in reality they are the clay and Islam is the iron that breaks non moslems.
Democracy has proven to be weak and corrupted clay now on life support.
In their global chess game of the ages the US,UN,EU have chosen to throw away the'infidel' Jewish pawn,Israel for the Islamic kings to stand with them.
Israel is in the way ,a problem for their Satanic ONE WORLD plan I named Babel II.
The Holy One of Israel is in control and His fury is directed against all the nations as what they intend for Israel will come upon them.
Here is one of many wars that He personally will rain down on Israel's enemies in our day
"You will come up against My people Israel like a cloud, to cover the land. It will be in the latter days that I will bring you against My land, so that the nations may know Me, when I am hallowed in you, O Gog, before their eyes." ........
And it shall come to pass at the same time when Gog shall come against the land of Israel, saith the Lord GOD, that my fury shall come up in my face.
For in My jealousy and in the fire of My wrath I have spoken: 'Surely in that day there shall be a great earthquake in the land of Israel, .......
And I will bring him to judgment with pestilence and bloodshed; I will rain down on him, on his troops, and on the many peoples who [are] with him, flooding rain, great hailstones, fire, and brimstone.
Thus I will magnify Myself and sanctify Myself, and I will be known in the eyes of many nations. Then they shall know that I am the LORD."

This, in my view, is where the counter-jihad is at its absolute weakest (I know you did say not to read it, but I'm such a rebel ;-))
The fault line of the war lies between the secular and the superstitious. God probably isn't going to help anyone to defeat the jihad, and although the (idea) of (a) god(/s) may indeed help to motivate some people to fight back, in the long term, fighting on behalf of a mystical being may result in harm nearly as great as that which we are fighting.
The ideal solution is to discover the promised land (I promise that it's there) of common ground between our existing legacy belief systems (excluding the enemy ones of course) and secular non-belief - sometimes called self-determination.
(Smith: Why do you do it Mr. Anderson? Why do you keep getting up? Neo: BECAUSE I CHOOSE TO.)
The key to defeating jihad is the rapid consolidation of our key ideological positions, and that depends entirely on Western Civilization's ability to rapidly come to terms (i.e. non-hypocritical terms) with our HUMAN SEXUALITY.
Western sexuality must no longer be a thing distorted and twisted or sullied by the absolute requirement to effectively counter the sexual "charms" of the enemy's ideological system. That is to say, the flaws in Western Civilization's conception of human sexuality may in fact be more a matter of necessity (to prevent western males from "voting with their feet", so to speak) than a direct phenomenon stemming from Western Civilization in and of itself.
This critical discussion lies at the very core of our differing attitudes toward homosexuality, marriage, sexual faithfulness, abortion, puberty, and perhaps the most important of all, pornography and erotica.
Interesting comment. Thanks.
My opinion, as a person steeped in the Judeo-Christian view of the world is that God wants us to be free to choose what we will do, right or wrong.
I believe Freedom of Choice is the dividing line between the Islamic view of the world and the Judeo-Christian view of the world.
From my vantage point, what you say is true. I believe people ought to be able to fuck whoever they want to, whenever they want to, and pretty much wherever they want to. At the same time, I think it is more healthy for the individual human being, and for society as a whole, to be monogamous and to create family units, and to raise children.
Do you see where I'm coming from.
One of the points I bring up here at IBA over and over is that one of the biggest abominations in Sharia law is that they believe people ought to be killed for being homosexual. We have gay bloggers and contributors here. We also have atheists, Jews, Christians, Buddhists, and even an few ex-Muslims. At one point, we even had a Muslim contributor.
If you read us much, you will find, we're a pretty open-minded bunch, unless someone is trying to shove Jihad/Sharia down our throat.
Or bad beer.
Yes, bad beer is an abomination as well.
Thanks for reminding me.
Si, no problema :)
By the way, which beer do you hate the most, and what beers are your favorites?
By the way, to our Anonymous commenter, check out this post from the Anchoress:
Because it is something we can never hear enough these days, let’s revisit ideas of liberty put forth by two Englishmen, G.K. Chesteron and C.S. Lewis.
This morning I heard Mika Brzezinski, whom I rather like, telling Joe Scarborough that she applauded the tobacco tax that brings cigarette prices up to $10.00 a pack. She was so wrapped up in the idea that the taxes would “save lives” by discouraging smoking, that she could not seem to grasp that those same taxes were being used to effectively curtail liberty and suppress our instincts to do as we like. So, let’s instruct her with some Chesterton:
“The free man owns himself. He can damage himself with either eating or drinking; he can ruin himself with gambling. If he does he is certainly a damn fool, and he might possibly be a damned soul; but if he may not, he is not a free man any more than a dog.” - Broadcast talk 6-11-35
And now, Mr. Lewis:
“Of all tyrannies, a tyranny exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. It may be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron’s cruelty may sometimes sleep, his cupidity may at some point be satiated; but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end, for they do so with the approval of their consciences.” –C.S. Lewis”
Today at mass, our priest - by no means a reactionary sort - remarked on the Gospel reading for the day, which was Jn 10:31-42. I took notes, but still am paraphrasing a little:
“I think the men who wanted to stone Jesus were offended that he would come in their era, that he would intrude on their time with his messianic talk. Because it’s one thing to look for and hope for Messiah, and quite another to have to encounter Messiah - which demands an interior, real and lifelong change, a delivering up of self.
But we cannot chose the time of God’s coming, and that is true whether we’re talking about our individual lives, or in terms of the whole world. All we can do is learn to read the data, and then respond in a right way. We have the tools and guidelines, and we must be prepared to live them - no matter what the times bring - live them, righteously and fearlessly, understanding that many, many will seek the world and its answers, because the way of the world appears easier. The world can be touched, seen, smelt, it seems like the reality, and they cling to it. For the rest of us, all we can do is be faithful. Will it be scary? Yes. Will we be abandoned? Not on your life. Do not be afraid, and just keep moving on to the next right thing, and then the next.
I agree Pastorius, God did give us the freedom to choose. Each of us, in the end, are individuals, with a brain and the ability to make our own decisions. My morals do not necessarily mesh with yours and vice versa. This is how God intended it. If he didn't, he would have built us differently.
If an individual is not hurting anyone, what business is it to others.
In the end, we stand before Him alone. And so do all others who try to force their morals on society.
Actually I prefer the very dark beers, The Guinness Stouts (my favorite) St. Pauli Girl Dark etc. Going lighter I like Harp Lager, Reading is making a microbrew again, Yuengling Chesterfield Ale and Landshark or Corona with lime in the heat of the summer (the pause that refreshes!).
Can't stand stuff like Coors Light or Budweiser or MGD all very poedestrian and have no bark nor bite to me.
Guess maybe I ought to comment on this post itself and not just beer.
I'm with the Freewill crowd here. Though a Catholic and a Christian I am not an End Times/Rapture believer. To me the Old Testament is a record of God's dealing with his Chosen People. Not prophecies for our time.
He gave the land to the Israelites, yes, in perpetuity, yes, and may well bring destruction on those who would destroy Israel, yes, but not saying it will happen when the stars etc are aligned just right only that it could happen if this then that. Guidance on how to conduct ourselves, not telling us exactly what we're going to do and what He will do. Then we are playthings and Freewill goes out the window.
Same with Revelations. Not a book of prophecy. A book of resistance literature exhorting the new Church to be strong and faithful in the face of determined slaughter.
When you say they are prophecy and it IS what will happen, you remove the Freewill of someone to have a change of heart and plans. It COULD BE what happens, not what WILL happen.
Clarifying the counter jihad stage 1.
"My opinion, as a person steeped in the Judeo-Christian view of the world is that God wants us to be free to choose what we will do, right or wrong."
My opinion, as a member of a species that has passed through various stages of evolution, is that human personal choice imparts certain adaptive evolutionary advantages on those human groups that employ it more effectively.
Therefore I will not kill or oppress Pastorius for his views regarding the wellspring/nature of human choice, which differs slightly from mine, in theory, though probably not in practice.
"From my vantage point, what you say is true ... ... to create family units, and to raise children."
Not exactly what I was saying, but I do agree fully with those points, since free choice, applied wisely, has surely given certain groups an adaptive evolutionary advantage over others.
"One of the points I bring up here at IBA over and over is that one of the biggest abominations in Sharia law is that they believe people ought to be killed for being homosexual."
This to me is a mere symptom of the larger problem no different from engaging in ANY activity proscribed by any totalitarian system. Homosexuality, walking into the toilet with the wrong foot first, smiling at a with pretty eyes, giggling when someone else farts - same shit, different pile. But see, we do agree again.
"If you read us much, you will find ..."
I do. And I do.
When/if we find exactly where we disagree, and then come to some sort of agreement on those, it will be the beginning of the end for our enemies.
MR,
You said: When you say they are prophecy and it IS what will happen, you remove the Freewill of someone to have a change of heart and plans. It COULD BE what happens, not what WILL happen.
I say: That's a very good point. And, I have a problem with that also. But, let's face it, if you believe in the Bible (and, I did say this post was only for "Bible-believing" Jews or Christians), then you do believe that, sometimes, God does intervene in the affairs of men. He healed the lame, caused a great flood, split the Red Sea, etc.
I do believe the Bible is filled with Prophecy which does apply to future events.
Whether or not we are living in the End Times right now, I have no idea. I would prefer that it not be the case. I love life, I have children, and I want to see them grow up and live joyful, productive lives.
About beer, I friggin' hate Coors. I actually like Miller Lite. But, if someone hands me a Coors or a Bud, I won't drink it. No Thanks.
My favorite beer is also Guiness. And, interestingly, it is about five times as good in Europe as it is in the U.S.
I also like Heineken.
In fact, you know, if Guiness or Heineken wanted to sponsor our site, I might actually consider it, though we have a no sponsorship rule.
;-)
Anonymous,
You misquoted me just a bit.
You said, quoting me: "From my vantage point, what you say is true ... ... to create family units, and to raise children."
I say: I threw a "at the same time" in between those two statements. Therefore, they were separate statements. Together they are a non-sequiter.
I was saying, people should do whatever they want, BUT, it's usually best to do healthy things if one wants a healthy life. In my opinion, raising a family teaches a person how to be giving. So, in my opinion, raising families is healthy for society and the individual. It's fine with me if people don't want to raise families. It is not fine with me that some people want to father children and then abandon them. And, we do have laws which are there to curb such behavior.
You said: "One of the points I bring up here at IBA over and over is that one of the biggest abominations in Sharia law is that they believe people ought to be killed for being homosexual."

Homosexuality, walking into the toilet with the wrong foot first, smiling at a with pretty eyes, giggling when someone else farts - same shit, different pile. But see, we do agree again.
I say: Well, I agree with all of that. But, you brought up sexuality.
You said: When/if we find exactly where we disagree, and then come to some sort of agreement on those, it will be the beginning of the end for our enemies.
I say: Well, as I said, in my opinion, the difference is on the subject of Freedom of Choice. Islam is a Totalitarian System of belief, and the Judeo-Christian/Greek Democratic Republic model is based upon Freedom of Choice.
Tsingtao....ULTIMATE BLAND
Okay,... I am the LAST guy to say the Bible MEANS this or that LITERALLY. Altho I believe it is generally historically accurate back to about 1200 BC.
I do not believe we could say with ASSURANCE except on faith that the land belongs to the Israelites. I would however be glad to defend the idea that the unarguable facts of humans' behavior towards that miniscule minority across some 2500 years, and the jews' behavior there since 1948 has indemnified them on that land, AND that the behavior of the arabs living in rejection of both the jews and a jewish state has made moral whatever happens to the land the jews now OWN.
The arabs have simply suffered the fate of all losers, and they brought that fate about by aggressive warfare which they publicly declared as annihilationist.
I really don't care if there is a Palestinian state. That is up to the winners of those wars. That is up to whether or not those winners face a political issue or a religious one (against them).
However, there can be little argument that by what they teach, how they act and what they profess about the tiny minority of people they cannot defeat the Palestinians deserve exactly what they have.
In short, tough shit, STFU or you may well find the next round ends up with tents in the Egyptian desert. OR, MAKE REAL PEACE.
I
DON'T
CARE
Epa,
Politically, I'm in agreement with you.
Religiously, I believe the state of Israel belongs to the Jews.
I do not mix Religion and Politics, except on issues of murder or confiscation of property.
In other words, politically, I support Israel for the reasons you state.
However, from time to time, I do come across an article, like this one, which I think is worthwhile posting here for people to consider.
Hope it doesn't bug anyone too much.
Tsingao? Is that that Thai beer? I remember not liking Thai beer much.
Oooo, Heineken is a big favorite of mine, and still cheap enuf for big gatherings.
I agree God does intervene.
We disagree on the Bible as prophecy for our times. But you and I can read the same verse and learn the same thign and conduct ourselves the same way according to that verse but approach it from a different reasoning. Where I may see God did this to these people for what they did so we shouldn't do that you may read God will do this to these people for what they will do so we shouldn't do that. Not so far apart, really. I read it as a lesson from history, you read it as a warning to future generations. We still get the same message.
Chinese.
It's opposite in appearance and taste..
GUINNESS ..the best
The Guinness Bloggers Alliance!
Just Cause,
Now, that would be a sponsorship worth selling, wouldn't it?
Especially if we get all the Guiness we can drink.
We might not get much work done, though.
Speaking of which, what happened to our friend the Platypus?
Oh oh oh yes yes Guinness Sponsorship please! Yes yes!
Haven't heard from Sir P. in quite some time. Perhaps he finally was able to hook up with that Iranian Bikini contest winner :)
There is no such thing as bad beer; there is such thing as WARM beer.
Cthulhu hath spokenth.
Actually, I don't mind Guinness warm.
You know you forced me to this, don't you, Cthulhu?
Pastorious, In the words of Bob Dylan, "You're going to serve someone, it might be the Devil or it might be the Lord, but you're gonna serve someone". Free choice exists to the point that you decide if you're going to throw in with Satan or with God. I have to admit, that I would prefer not to make that choice, but follow the middle way. I don't yet know if the creator has granted us that option. One thing in which we can take comfort is whatever designs the globalists have for Israel,it will end badly for them.
Morpheus,
Here's what I expect will happen:
1 This is the word of the LORD concerning Israel. The LORD, who stretches out the heavens, who lays the foundation of the earth, and who forms the spirit of man within him, declares: 2 "I am going to make Jerusalem a cup that sends all the surrounding peoples reeling. Judah will be besieged as well as Jerusalem. 3 On that day, when all the nations of the earth are gathered against her, I will make Jerusalem an immovable rock for all the nations. All who try to move it will injure themselves. 4 On that day I will strike every horse with panic and its rider with madness," declares the LORD. "I will keep a watchful eye over the house of Judah, but I will blind all the horses of the nations. 5 Then the leaders of Judah will say in their hearts, 'The people of Jerusalem are strong, because the LORD Almighty is their God.'
6 "On that day I will make the leaders of Judah like a firepot in a woodpile, like a flaming torch among sheaves. They will consume right and left all the surrounding peoples, but Jerusalem will remain intact in her place.
7 "The LORD will save the dwellings of Judah first, so that the honor of the house of David and of Jerusalem's inhabitants may not be greater than that of Judah. 8 On that day the LORD will shield those who live in Jerusalem, so that the feeblest among them will be like David, and the house of David will be like God, like the Angel of the LORD going before them. 9 On that day I will set out to destroy all the nations that attack Jerusalem.
Mourning for the One They Pierced
10 "And I will pour out on the house of David and the inhabitants of Jerusalem a spirit [a] of grace and supplication. They will look on [b] me, the one they have pierced, and they will mourn for him as one mourns for an only child, and grieve bitterly for him as one grieves for a firstborn son. 11 On that day the weeping in Jerusalem will be great, like the weeping of Hadad Rimmon in the plain of Megiddo. 12 The land will mourn, each clan by itself, with their wives by themselves: the clan of the house of David and their wives, the clan of the house of Nathan and their wives, 13 the clan of the house of Levi and their wives, the clan of Shimei and their wives, 14 and all the rest of the clans and their wives.
1 A day of the LORD is coming when your plunder will be divided among you.
2 I will gather all the nations to Jerusalem to fight against it; the city will be captured, the houses ransacked, and the women raped. Half of the city will go into exile, but the rest of the people will not be taken from the city.
3 Then the LORD will go out and fight against those nations, as he fights in the day of battle. 4 On that day his feet will stand on the Mount of Olives, east of Jerusalem, and the Mount of Olives will be split in two from east to west, forming a great valley, with half of the mountain moving north and half moving south. 5 You will flee by my mountain valley, for it will extend to Azel. You will flee as you fled from the earthquake [a] in the days of Uzziah king of Judah. Then the LORD my God will come, and all the holy ones with him.
12 This is the plague with which the LORD will strike all the nations that fought against Jerusalem: Their flesh will rot while they are still standing on their feet, their eyes will rot in their sockets, and their tongues will rot in their mouths. 13 On that day men will be stricken by the LORD with great panic. Each man will seize the hand of another, and they will attack each other.
And on that day there will no longer be a Canaanite [e] in the house of the LORD Almighty.
Pastorius,
Amen. Let Him that sits on the throne hasten the day. And grant us the strength to stand against the scourge that even now is coming upon us.
I have a hard time asking for God to hasten the day when Jerusalem will be ransacked and the women will be raped.
I'd rather us all live quiet, joyful, productive lives.
It's really up to our enemies. If they choose to fight against Israel, well then, they've brought it on themselves. Bad things will happen.
Pastorius,
I fully agree, the desolation of Israel is not a desirable state of affairs. And I certainly do not want to see the scourge myself. But if, after that tribulation, we see the Kingdom that "shall never be destroyed"(as you depicted in the post, from Daniel),would it not be worth the sacrifice? The catch is, of course, will these events lead to that conclusion or will it be as in WWII, where the world just ambles on. In this I am unsure, but when it comes, no one will be able to stop it, as you are well aware.
Morpheus,
We are agreed on that. If we are in the End Times, then onward, and upward.
But, I'd rather it not be during my lifetime, or that of my children.
By the way, the passages were from Zechariah Chapters 12 and 14.
Daniel has similar passages, as does Ezekiel.
I like Zechariah, because, though you never hear anyone note this fact, it actually tells us that our Messiah's name will be Yeshua. Here are the passages (from Zechariah Chapters 3 and 6):
1 Then he showed me Joshua [a] the high priest standing before the angel of the LORD, and Satan [b] standing at his right side to accuse him. 2 The LORD said to Satan, "The LORD rebuke you, Satan! The LORD, who has chosen Jerusalem, rebuke you! Is not this man a burning stick snatched from the fire?"
3 Now Joshua was dressed in filthy clothes as he stood before the angel. 4 The angel said to those who were standing before him, "Take off his filthy clothes."
Then he said to Joshua, "See, I have taken away your sin, and I will put rich garments on you."
5 Then I said, "Put a clean turban on his head." So they put a clean turban on his head and clothed him, while the angel of the LORD stood by.
6 The angel of the LORD gave this charge to Joshua: 7 "This is what the LORD Almighty says: 'If you will walk in my ways and keep my requirements, then you will govern my house and have charge of my courts, and I will give you a place among these standing here.
8 " 'Listen, O high priest Joshua and your associates seated before you, who are men symbolic of things to come: I am going to bring my servant, the Branch. 9 See, the stone I have set in front of Joshua! There are seven eyes [c] on that one stone, and I will engrave an inscription on it,' says the LORD Almighty, 'and I will remove the sin of this land in a single day.
A Crown for Joshua
9 The word of the LORD came to me: 10 "Take silver and gold from the exiles Heldai, Tobijah and Jedaiah, who have arrived from Babylon. Go the same day to the house of Josiah son of Zephaniah. 11 Take the silver and gold and make a crown, and set it on the head of the high priest, Joshua son of Jehozadak. 12 Tell him this is what the LORD Almighty says: 'Here is the man whose name is the Branch, and he will branch out from his place and build the temple of the LORD. 13 It is he who will build the temple of the LORD, and he will be clothed with majesty and will sit and rule on his throne. And he will be a priest on his throne. And there will be harmony between the two.' 14 The crown will be given to Heldai, [d] Tobijah, Jedaiah and Hen [e] son of Zephaniah as a memorial in the temple of the LORD. 15 Those who are far away will come and help to build the temple of the LORD, and you will know that the LORD Almighty has sent me to you. This will happen if you diligently obey the LORD your God."
The Branch is Joshua (Yeshua), and only the Messiah can be the King who is also the High Priest.
Pastorius,
Thanks, these passages are the last word. So, I can only say I appreciate you and all the other Infidel Bloggers for bringing the news I don't see or hear elsewhere until you all have been on it for awhile. I knew it was Zechariah. One of the best of the latter day prophets for his people specifically, IMHO.
Well, thank you very much for the encouraging words. I truly appreciate it.
Well then Pasto I have a shocker for you ... in Hebrew my name is king of the high priests.
Obeisance, please. [epa waves like the queen]
Epaminondas,
In Hebrew, Epaminondas is king of the high priests? Could you show me the Hebrew name? I'm not up with the High priests (it's been awhile since we had one).
Epaminondas is not his real name. That is a Greek name.
It's not his real name???
Kinda looks a bit like George Orwell to me. In the right light, you know.
Indeed, it is my real name which translates that way ..by chance .. since the names individually derives from those who went before me in my family. Altho I can imagine my grandfather expecting some kind of Maimonedes.
Every Israeli I have ever known who asked me my hebrew name generally dissolves into hysteria upon translation.
MR, epaminondas' ancient activity was to be the world's first neo-con, reaving Sparta, and setting the Helot slaves free in fortified city after fortified city in the process, in a pre-emptive invasion and war to prevent Sparta from attacking Thebes.
HERE, where you will also find another of my favorites.
Thanks, Epa. Just added that one to my shopping list.
WHEW! You guys are tough.
Pastorius,
I know it's a Greek name. Greek mythology has been one of my diversions over the years.
Epaminondas,
I am not Israeli,so the Hebrew name will not send me into hysterics. However, I don't need to know it, I just was looking for some insight, which the descendents of the high priests might be able to provide.
Midnight Rider,
I like your stuff dude. Like everyone else on this site you guys have an insight that will lead you to the outcome before anyone else.
Thank you for the kind words, Morpheus.
We get even better with Guinness.
