Red Skelton Pledge of Allegiance
Red Skelton did this Pledge of Allegiance many years ago. It should replayed in every school every 4th of July.

You won't find much of an audience at schools on the 4th of July. Schools are uniformly closed for Independence Day. Try Flag day, celebrated on June 14th, and/or Constitution Day which is observed on September 17th.
My fourth grader was studying our Pledge and it's origins this past semester. The part time "enrichment" instructor did a fine job pointing out it's meaning, line by line.
It won't surprise any readers here to learn that this part timer's position was eliminated from next years school budget.
I am just back from your amazing country - unfortunately I couldn't extend my 3 week stay to catch 4th July - but I am hosting a 4th July party and will be flying the American flag proudly from my window.
