The whole thing is a non issue.
If one wants to remind one's self of the major themes to return to ... as one speaks AWAY from the speech, extemporaneously...ESPECIALLY for a speaker who is WITH and REACTS to the audience themselves, I have NO PROBLEM WITH IT.
