Paul Ryan Got Off Some Very Good Lines - And Other Debate Stuff

I missed this one, because my teenage daughter interrupted with another one of her cocamamie, Lucille Ball-like plans to be an adult before she is even good at being a teenager.

But, I am glad to see this now.

Does that do harm to Obama, that his VP is better than him?

I honestly don't know who won this debate. I thought both scored points. Biden was more forceful. Ryan was calm and more clear. 

But there were a couple of times (one of them being on the issue of why the Ayatollahs are getting the wrong message from the Obama Admin) where Ryan ought to have used one of his trademark, "This is how Obama thinks it should be done, but this is how it turns out when he does it," turns of phrase.

Instead, his explanation was convoluted, and he allowed himself to get cut off by the moderator

WHO I THOUGHT WAS VERY FAIR, BY THE WAY.

Congrats to her.

Maybe she won the debate.

Ryan missed a couple of knockout opportunities, I thought.
Esp since Biden was totally inaccurate a few times.
But this debate is going to be judged on what the average (polite?) american, who is undecided thought about that incredible performance by what on TV was clearly a complete BUFFOON. An angry grump, anxious to talk and not listen, impatient to be forceful
Closer debate on actual verbage, but Biden was a very unlikable and obvious ACTOR.

As one observer said .."I just wish Ryan would turn around and ask Biden 'Joe, what the fuck is so funny?'"
