The election conclusion:SSDD

Women voted for Obama, men voted for Romney, and more women voted than men.
White voters voted in the lowest proportion since 1972. Less than 72%.
Blacks, and Latinos went overwhelmingly, and 2-1 for Obama respectively.
The Obama ground game WAS REAL.
There wasn’t a single surprise.
Most of the polls were EXACTLY on target, and in some case wrong in favor of Romney.
New Hampshire was a blowout. Rural counties went overwhelmingly for Obama in NH.
Obama won EVERY swing state and leads in FL, and in some case by more than by tiny margins.
Result, with Dems holding 51 seats in the new senate and the Republicans down 6-8 and still completely in control of the House, the election achieved NOTHING.
Obama is PRECISELY who we know him to be.  Republican leadership in the House has just said they are NOT GOING TO GIVE IN. We are going to face the fiscal cliff in weeks, and the national debt will again reach it’s legal limit soon.
Obama will try to get around this with executive fiats and sometime in the next 4 years is going to face a constitutional challenge.
Any increase in fossil fuel supplies will be due to private and state initiatives. Sell your coal stocks. Dump General Dynamics, Northrop Grumman and Boeing. Get rid of Pfizer, Lilly, and Merck.
Barack Obama not going to change the tactics which have rewarded him politically. He is going to demonize his enemies (his domestic ones, anyway) and try to tar the Repubs as the party of no. Therefore any real chances of compromises will be minimal.
Businesses are just where they were yesterday and the day before. Therefore hiring and business expansion will be exactly where it was.
The Repubs are the ones who will face the decisions.
Scott Brown was TROUNCED.
Mourdock and Akin lost (AND DESERVED TO) and those who identify with the Tea Party need to think about why it is that people like them, and O’Donnell, are the ones running for office, and limit their efforts to the issues which caused the great reversal of 2010 .. responsible financial behavior, personal responsibility, and adherence to the constitution.
Abortion and other faith related issues are LOSERS. This is not a value judgement  but it is a fact.
Barring a cataclysmic event, foreign policy will recede even more from the key decision points of voters in this 50-50 nation.
So how do republicans put together a winning combination of voter blocs?
IMMIGRATION REFORM. It’s that simple and that ugly.
The FACTS are that with a shrinking white voter population the ideals of the founders are shrinking with them because the democrats are appealing to voters addicting tendencies. That is an observation.
This is working. That is an observation.
It’s ‘nice’ to not worry about what might happen to you and know the govt is there to pick you up. Soon, the memory of a self reliant america will be gone and those here will simply think this is how it is to be.
Unless the ideals of the founders can be expanded to other populations, IT’S OVER, and the future political battles will be between the far left of the demo party and it’s left of center- center.
Barack Obama has no mandate and no plan. He is going to face a vicious inquiry head manned by John McCain, as it should be. Will it matter? Even if a WH cover up is discovered, and the house votes to impeach, will a Harry Reid senate ever convict even with as smoking gun? Will the populace have patience for this?
Obama faces the fiscal cliff with no idea what to do except some blunting by the executive, and a new debt crisis. When the IRS starts sending out those special forms REQUIRING YOU to report your health insurance status (that is a fact) there will be an unhealthy response. Nothing is going to change the reversals in the world for individual rights and real freedom, but America is no mood to care.
If the Republicans decide to resist all irresponsible financial behavior by a man with no mandate, then they had better be moving to encompass the growing latino population of this nation.
In a land of bitter choices, that is the best choice. And a latino population which supports the idea of the founders is what we need.
Otherwise, get ready for the END of the republican party except as diminishing rump shouting about a Constitution which will simply be ignored by a populace worried about extending unemployment compensation, and free breakfasts for the growing population of young students that need them, under a growing umbrella.

THAT IS HOW IT IS

"A democracy cannot exist as a permanent form of government. It can only exist until the majority discovers it can vote itself largess out of the public treasury. After that, the majority always votes for the candidate promising the most benefits with the result the democracy collapses because of the loose fiscal policy ensuing, always to be followed by a dictatorship, then a monarchy."

The analysis is clear enough as is the logical conclussion.

The conservative movement in America has gone to far to the right and as one person said, they were to involved in people's lives and their bedrooms and not really interested in understanding what the people think.

The failed conservative challange this time around was because they tried to listen to the noisy, argumentative and unfortunately dominant far-right minority than what the actual public wanted.

That is sad because the economics was correct, the argument about the economy was an issue that people wanted. The people are suffering and a good message should have won the election, but it failed because Americans though upset and angry (48 per cent did not vote for Obama), they still showed that they had enough confidence in his message, that they believed he understood their problems and that the GOP did not understand women, race and immigration.

The blame is the view that the white male population choses the President, that the evengelical view somehow MUST overide what the people think. That the view by the Tea-party movement that it should be their view "or else" is somehow more democratic than the actual vote.

In otherwords, many conservatives and those that control the GOP at present have forgotten the first three words of "we the people".
