I can foresee that the line "every 3 days a black man is killed by a white man" is going to make it into US colleges, schools, TV, and movies! It will be touted as historical fact without any time wasted whatsoever.
White folks are to blame for bending over more than was necessary. Yes slavery and discrimination based on race was bad, but if you didn't commit the wrongdoing then why the hell are you paying for it?!

your not mistaken. aside from the occasional knock out game perpetrated by black youths on any handy non blacks most blacks die at the hands of other blacks but hey why throw away a good straw man.
