BOSSES at a German water park have announced plans to segregate men and women after two teenage girls were sexually assaulted.
The plan will involve banning men and teenage boys from using the watersides at certain times when only women, girls and very young boys will be allowed access.
It comes days after police arrested two asylum seekers from Afghanistan accused of carrying out a sex attack on two girls on the slides at the Arriba water park and swimming pool in the city of Norderstedt in northern Germany’s Schleswig-Holstein region.
The girls aged 14 and 18 had been using the water slides but their alleged attackers, both from Afghanistan and aged 14 and 34, had been waiting for them at the bottom to molest them. Both men were arrested on suspicion of attempted rape and sexual coercion and are being held in custody without bail.
The horror incident is the second involving foreigners at the baths in 18 months.
