Merry Olde England: 75 new cases of Female Genital Mutilation in Bristol in just three months

Dozens of girls and women in Bristol have been subjected to female genital mutilation, a report has found. 
Some 75 new cases were recorded in Bristol between the months of April, May and June this year, the Health and Social Care Information Centre revealed. 
Bristol's cases represent the highest number of such acts in the South West, making up the vast majority of the 80 new cases in the region over that time. 
FGM is a form of child abuse common to some African, Asian and Middle Eastern communities in the UK.
