So now we find out that the CIA will not OFFICIALLY brief, and testify before the Congressional intelligence oversight committees over their intelligence on who, what and how, and if the election process was hacked in the USA.
Yesterday we have the Director of National Intelligence Clapper saying we have virtually no insight or evidence about the chain of events in which Wikileaks GOT the information they released, IN OPEN TESTIMONY.
The unnamed CIA official who leaked the Ivan loves Trump hack story, the DIA, the and the FBI all have different conclusions about why, and may have different conclusions about who.
Would there be any surprise if China did it to find oppo information to stop Trump(think of their risk with Trump) and left evidence to point the finger at Russia, or if it was the Russians themselves?
Never mind.
The CIA MUST testify, as must the FBI, and DIA.
PERIOD.
Trying to mess with the elections in the USA, if you are a foreign power, is IMO:

And it should be named such by Congress. And every nation thinking of this should be aware.

Somehow Hacking has fallen into the same category as old fashioned humint espionage. We punish those we catch here, but never their leadership's offices in Moscow, Bejing, or Tel Aviv.
.... its the old "we both do it" mentality.
We dont want China or Russia lobbing J-Dams through the windows of the NSA HQ in Maryland, so we do nothing about their attacks.
..... I've always supported the Death Penalty for hacking, regardless the jurisdiction the hacker resides in. But to be fair I'd have to turn the other cheek when Venezuela sends a purification squad to take out a Home Depot employee in Atlanta or a 14 year old nerd in Boise.
