Last night, Charles Krauthammer, with a face more sour than usual (although I will concede that his failing health is at least a contributing cause to his sour expressions the past several months) was bemoaning the Taiwan call. Blah, blah, blah.

Our "strategic ambiguity" policy is the most ridiculous diplomatic farce in history.
We can sell them weapons, promise to defend them if the PRC attacks, but cant offend the PRC by taking a phone call.
They're trying to paint it as a blunder.
I'm sure this will be their reaction for the next 8 years.
