“Amy Mek” has 229,000 followers on Twitter, and is firmly and outspokenly opposed to jihad terror and Sharia oppression. President Trump has retweeted her. So as far as “journalist” Luke O’Brien of the Huffington Post was concerned, she had to be destroyed.
On Thursday, the HuffPo published O’Brien’s exposé: "Trump’s Loudest Anti-Muslim Twitter Troll Is A Shady Vegan Married To An (Ousted) WWE Exec: @AmyMek anonymously spread hate online for years. She can’t hide anymore.” “She can’t hide anymore”!
Luke O’Brien in his piece does his best to portray Amy as a monster who should be shunned by all decent people. Amy was rude to a Muslim store clerk, he tells us. She has an odd relationship with a prisoner, he says.
But her primary sin has nothing to do with her personal life, however lavishly O’Brien exposes it. The main reason why Luke O’Brien hates Amy Mek and wants you to hate her, too, is because she “tirelessly spewed far-right propaganda and, above all, Islamophobia.”
He also says, predictably, that she is “racist.” As evidence, O’Brien points out that she has praised Milo, who is so “racist” that he is in a gay marriage with a black man; as for “Islamophobia,” of course O’Brien means that she opposes jihad mass murder and Sharia oppression of women, non-Muslims, and others — in O’Brien’s mind, as a doctrinaire Left-fascist, all those who oppose such things are “bigots.”

Those who defend Islam, willingly serve Islam's deity and defends Islam's doctrines and goals. Given that Progressives in the west (redundant) are by definition "secular", this poses an existential lie. What god do Progressives want to serve when the reject the Judeo-Christian deity, that is the God of the Bible. Maybe it is better put that Progressives, by their actions are willing to serve any deity but the God of the Bible, as much as they may deny that there is even any such thing as a spirit world, let alone demons or spirit beings.
This is also proved in the number of media Progressives who are into spirituality. Now "spirituality" is roughly anything-goes in personal belief, that is anything except exactly what the Bible actually says. Because, you know, when Jesus defines marriage as between one man and one woman, that is just H8. And when the Apostle Paul says in Romans how God judges people who practice homosexuality, that is just H8.
An article on spirituality says it best when talking about and quoting Oprah:

So, what is going on? As much as Progressives deny the spirit world, they acknowledge it in the things and people they approve of. Yet we can see by what they voice disapproval of, what values they are accepting and rejecting. While they profess equality for women, they defend a religious system and culture that practices unique and pervasive suppression of women. This has gone on for so many years, the truth is easy to see for those who are willing to admit to it.

There are an awful lot of Church-going Christians who defend Islam, and object to what they call "Civic Religion", which, when they start definiing terms, turns out to be a Conservative, Bible-based Christianity which recognizes the ideas of America, and it's place in the world as a Judeo-Christian nation.
These same Christians are tolerant of Islam and LGBTQ in the name of being "loving", and of being "Missions" oriented or service-oriented.
