I am exhausted. I've spent the last weekish on the phone or on the web trying to find out if my representative is going to have a townhall meeting. The response from both his local office and the DC office was no, not at this time. Then lo and behold yesterday the good congressman decided to hold a TELEPHONE townhall meeting.
WTF is that??
So, I called both offices again and said that was very nice--but don't we deserve to see our elected official face to face to answer our questions(he's a blue dog btw, pale blue if you ask me)
I was told the congressman has "other obligations" and is "booked" for the month and best of all...he decided to phone it in because they were concerned there would be "disruptions"
And they wonder why we are so frustrated.
