I caught this on Beck the other night (between being outta work and a boomerang on the flu I've been watching alot of teevee)(I gotta get back to work).
Schumer, of course, blaming Fort Hood on lax gun laws. Wayne LaPierre shredding the argument and stating, in some ways, the soldiers may have been better off had the attack happened off base and a possibly armed civilian would have been there to stop the shooter quicker.
He also makes the point that, what this tells Al Qaida & ilk, is our military bases are, except for the MP's, largely disarmed when not training.
