This nation is dangerously polarized as it has not been since 1861

Am I the only one thinking this way?

It would seem so.

I have been predicting a Centrist Tea Party movement would replace one of the Parties. It all comes down to whether the Dems remove Obama themselves, or we remove him by vote.

If the Dems don't come to their senses and remove Obama (either by asking him to step down, or by mutinying against his agenda in a very open and hostile way) then the Dems are going to disappear.

If the Dems do remove Obama, then the Repubs are going to disappear.

Neither party serves the Centrist constituency who still believe in the American Constitution.

Nobody in the Democratic Party is going to call for the impeachment of Barack Hussein Obama for anything short of an EMP strike in which case they won't be able to do it because they will be too busy hunting squirrels and shooting the neighbors.

A. It would be political suicide

B. It would set off race riots the likes of which haven't been seen since 1992

C. We'd get Biden as President and nobody wants to be responsible for that either

D. Do I want to know who is next in line if someone takes out Biden?

E. Then there's always the possibility of Strongman Hillary Clinton

The issues are just as clearly defined as they were in 1861. The difference is that in 1861 everyone knew it. The issues were dissolution of the Union and slavery. Today they are socialism and Islamism. Think the same percentage of people recognize that clearly? Would be willing to go to war over it?

This is much closer to the walkup to WWII than it is to the Civil War or even WWI. Pearl Harbor not only presented us with a military attack on US soil, it woke us up to just how much trouble we were in, how unprepared, how under-manned, how much in denial, how out-gunned, how vulnerable to not one but two hostile militarist empires.

We've already had our Pearl -- it was 9/11/01. It was misinterpreted and ignored. The next one has to wake up enough people to what Islam really is and what it intends to do, and to the fact that the present administration does not have this country's survival as a free republic at the top of its agenda.

Nope! You're not the only one. Plus it is along the same geographical lines and about whether we will be free or slaves of the gov't. ~1/2 the country wants a nanny state and the rest just want to be left alone.
The left is looking for us to do a Ft. Sumter or them to do a Crystal Night.
