DAN RATHER: Part of the undertow in the coming election is going to be President Obama's leadership. And the Republicans will make a case and a lot of independents will buy this argument. "Listen he just hasn't been, look at the health care bill. It was his number one priority. It took him forever to get it through and he had to compromise it to death." And a version of, "Listen he's a nice person, he's very articulate" this is what's been used against him, "but he couldn't sell watermelons if it, you gave him the state troopers to flag down the traffic."
All of us, every single man, woman, and child on the face of the Earth were born with the same unalienable rights; to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. And, if the governments of the world can't get that through their thick skulls, then, regime change will be necessary.

Dan Rather: 'Articulate' Obama Couldn't Even 'Sell Watermelons'

The best joke I heard on this was that liberals weren't so much mad that Rather made a "racist" comment as that nobody should have to BUY a watermelon! They should be given free through government-run program:)
LOL
Libs are really showing their true colors the past few years.
It started with Clarence Thomas, and really kicked into gear with Condi Rice, and now Obama.
Amazing.
There are still too many Republicans who refer to Obama as "well-spoken" and "articulate" as if they are surprised, but the Libs comments are beyond the pale.
You know one of the things I like about this site is your parental advisory. Cause when you click on "comment," it momentarily stops, so it's kind of like a profanity slot machine. "Come on fuck, come on fuck! Aw, it's an ass!"
Also, you might want to open a Daily Rant comment box under just the day's date. That way when something is really ticking you off, or you get some news on the Mooslim invasion, you can post it in the Daily Rant comments. Cause there's been times that I wanted to rant about something I read somewhere, but it didn't fit on any of the topic discussion. Just a thought.
I like that idea.
We'll start doing it tomorrow morning.
:)
Cool! I had a good idea! :)
