All of us, every single man, woman, and child on the face of the Earth were born with the same unalienable rights; to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. And, if the governments of the world can't get that through their thick skulls, then, regime change will be necessary.

Queer Transgender Activist Says Capitalism Is ‘Greatest Threat To Basic Human Rights’
I'm not going to bother reading it but I imagine this blokes' idea of human rights are a basket of goodies available for "free". After all, if I don't have to pay for it then it's free right?
The right to speak, assemble, and freely associate; the right to defend yourself and your family; the right to face your accuser; and a guarantee that said rights will not be abridged without due process of law: none of that matters when the government takes care of everything for you. Right?
If that has become mainstream thought in the USA then there is a hard, hard time a-comin'. Luckily, we are about to find out.
It has even become mainstream thought among "Libertarians", You meet a person and they tell you are a Libertarian. I used to think, "Great a likeminded person." Now I just think they mean the government should make weed legal and in many case they think, the government should give them free weed.
Pasto: You are so right! I briefly entertained the idea of voting for the LP candidates this year until I looked into that ticket. What a joke. Just a couple of misplaced democrats.
A friend of mine described the LP as the "get stoned" party and the Greens as the "born stoned" party.
