Hill Republicans say they're growing frustrated with Mattis

From Politico:
The Marine general was welcomed as a moderating force in the Trump administration, but his moves to name Obama veterans to Pentagon posts are irritating allies in key committees.
Defense Secretary James Mattis’ unconventional choices for top Pentagon posts and his reluctance to aggressively push for dramatic increases in the defense budget have rankled Republicans on Capitol Hill who say he’s burning through political capital he needs as he begins reshaping the Pentagon.
Mattis was widely embraced on both sides of the aisle when President Donald Trump nominated him. Republicans and Democrats alike expressed hope that the retired four-star general would be a moderating force on the volatile commander in chief.
What's With Mad Dog? This Time He Nominates a Soros-Connected Think-Tanker for Key DoD Slot
Defense Secretary Gen. James Mattis wants to nominate a senior fellow at a Soros-funded think tank as undersecretary at the Pentagon, as the embattled Cabinet official continues to clash with the White House over prospective nominees. P
Mattis wants Rudy deLeon — a senior fellow at the far-left Center for American Progress (CAP) — to come on board as undersecretary for personnel and readiness. DeLeon previously served in the Clinton administration as deputy secretary of defense. During that time, Gen. Mattis served as his senior military assistant.

I believe all high ranking military officers have to be looked at very carefully. If they served during the Obama term it means they had been cleared as followers of the NWO ideology, and faithful to the Obama socialist agenda. Why would he otherwise be bringing in people like Paterson and this Soros' stooge?

Trump is working with remnants of the past administration. Perhaps Ann Barnhadt's discomfort at the closeness Trump had with the Clintons was not completely off track.
