It's not that they don't have that right. They do. They, like the GOP are a "Private" organization. The are run, not by voters, but by a Board of Directors who make the rules. They can make the rules up as they choose.
The fact that Donald Trump beat the Chosen One, Jeb Bush, and that he beat every other fucked-up contender the GOP threw at him, does not mean the GOP is any less corrupt than the Democrat Party. Donald Trump was just that good.
Both the Democrat Party and the GOP need to go away.

Without any pretense the Democratic primary nominating process should be expected to be conducted fairly, lawyers for the Democratic Party tell Judge Zloch the lawsuit should be thrown out because the Party has the freedom to determine its nominees by “internal rule”, not voter interests, and thus the party “could have favored a candidate”.

Which is exactly why I WILL NEVER EVER DONATE to any organized political party again. I will vote my conscience - to hell with political loyalties.
