No kidding, the God in the bible has a better grip on reality too.
Perhaps some will disagree with this, it seems to me that, religions are what we do with them. Although the Islamic dirty booklet has been handled with blood since it was written, there nothing that really forces believers in Allah to embrace with their entire heart the stupid rules in there. This is why Muslims leave Islam everyday (although some join everyday!). We are born free, ...relatively anyway.
Can one be a Muslim without being an Islamofascist? I hope so. Are you still a Muslim when you are an apostate? Perhaps. We will have to ask those who left Islam or those who reject fascism without rejecting the idea of God/ a nicer Allah, never mentioned in the mosques.
We always discuss whether Islam can be reformed or not. It has to, no choice or it is going to pop, with all of us in it. Realistically, with more than a billion members, the cult can't be destroyed so it has to change within the structures of the societies that uses Islam. Anyway, Muslim who are freedom lovers can help hugely, we need them and they need us.

Like Peter Gabriel did for Steven Biko, talented musicians should write songs for these victims, so they don't die in vain. Where are the artists anyway? They should be helping. Even Gabriel got it wrong lately in his understanding of who does what. What a pathetic world!
I'd like to see or make a giant sculpture out of a thousand Korans with a bunch of friends, turn it into the shape of a screaming human being and leave in the public place.

I have heard of this story from several sources before- in each one the facts of the case were that she killed a man who was attacking her.

I was just a bit sceptical that’s all. I’m always weary of emotional, sympathy seeking stories that aren‘t reported by reputable journalists or organisations; especially if the stories are of ‘closed’ countries such as Iran.
However, this story seems genuine as Amnesty International have reported it in January…

Naznin sad and traumnatic situation has been around for awhile and AI covered it as well. The supposedly apolitical Amnesty International. You can find it all through the link I gave you at Faithfreedom, and he has more.
I am very sad to say that they will probably kill the young lady. This morning I was trying to imagine how I would have perceived this at her age, if I had been in her situation. The despair and lost of faith in humanity she must feel now.
I don't know of any case in Iran where victims of the courts system were spared.
Perhaps it happens once in a while if they have connections with big fat Mullahs and if the crime is a "good" one.
