All of us, every single man, woman, and child on the face of the Earth were born with the same unalienable rights; to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. And, if the governments of the world can't get that through their thick skulls, then, regime change will be necessary.

"Arab world fed up with Hizbullah"
Photo: Hezbollah recruits being sworn in. For more on the
influence of Nazism in the Middle-East, click here.
To quote Bob Dylan: "The times they are a changin". Well, at least in the Mid-East. A little bit, anyway.
Not as much as we'd like, of course...but there are some positive signs.
Hezb'allah miscalculated. In fact, they did it twice: they not only misjudged the Israeli response to their actions-- they also misjudged the Arab world's response. . .
There's been some criticism of Olmert...but he may turn out to be smarter than some give him credit for. Its starting to look like like Sharon may have taught him well.(Of course I could be wrong...only time will tell).
Links to article and some very informative links to other background information on Iran's war with Israel (AKA WWIII-- or WWIV, depending upon your point of view) via their proxy Hezb'allah: click here. "You'll be glad you did". (Some links to useful background information-- articles, photos, videos).

And...Condi continually urges the Israelis to use "restraint"...perhaps Olmert should urge Bush to "use restraint" in Iraq? :-)
Actually, I believe that many in the Arab world are not as obsessed with the issue of "Palestine" as their rulers and official state propaganda organs would have them be. There are Arabs who have other things on their minds... in addition, many are starting to realize that Ahmadeinjad is literally insane...and an insane person with a powerful military is a real threat. This is especially true with nearby countries-- in the Gulf...and amongst non-Shia Iraqis...
While criticizing others, both the French and the Russians are highly prone to "disproportinate reactions" when they perceive their own interests to be at stake.
Things are definitely starting to change-- Nasrullah misjudged the Israeli reaction when he kidnapped the soldiers, and misjudged the reaction of the Arab world as well. And now, even many Iraqis are asking the U.S. forces to stay in Iraq-- indeed! (see link at end of that article)
