Now that is funny. And, of course, the truer something is, the funnier it is.
Sadly, I saw a bumper sticker the other day which also said something funny and true, and it was this:
"Be Nice To America, or We Just Might Bring Democracy To Your Country."
That's funny, because, truth is, that's what we SAID we were going to do, but we didn't really do it.
George Bush and his batallion of bullshit, ball-busting bastards did nothing like what we did in Germany, Japan, and the American South.
We didn't go in, kick ass, and then rewrite their entire understanding of government.
We let them tell us how they wanted to govern themselves.
And, they told us Sharia ought to be in the Constitution.
End of story. Sharia is the opposite of any notion of Democracy and Freedom.

That's a very funny cartoon. Unfortunately, its funny because there is so much disturbing truth in it.
I'm late getting back to this thread because I spent most of the day taking care of my back and following doctor's orders. At least, the orders are pleasant -- mandatory laps in the pool.
Anyway, I almost didn't post this graphic because it IS so true and unfunny.
