British Comedian Insults Americans

NOTE: I moved this back up near to the top, because almost immediately after I posted it yesterday, it was taken off YouTube. Here's a new version.

The American contributors at IBA have been known to throw rhetorical bombs across the Atlantic at our European and British brothers.

So, just for the sake of balance (and, well, for the sake of a good laugh), let's sit back and watch while a British comedian gives us the working over.

Pastorius,

Me and my mom thought it was funny despite the fact that both of us are Americans.

It is no longer available. Sigh. Now I can't be offended and have my cathartic hissy fit. Why DO you do these things to us, Jaco?

Scherzo,
Lately I've notice that sometimes a video will say no longer available, and then fifteen minutes later, it will magically be available again.

It's a bug in YouTube apparently.

My Fellow Americans,

Here is the pro American rebuttal, David Zucker's An_American_Carol. Also check this out. Hotair has more clips from the movie. And Guess who they make fun in addition to Michael Moore. You may have trouble believing your eyes and ears.

Doh..! It is still unavailable....but I know this guy and he is a hoot!...Actually quite an accurate portrayal of your average pub landlord...! I bet he gave you guys a proper working over LOL! Still, it's good to rip the piss out of each other...as long as both sides can take it in good humor...!

For my 2 cents I would like to ask...America, what the hell is up with Grits!!!?? Why would you inflict that on yourselves at breakfast time!!??...( God I hope Shirley in Ocala isn't reading this as I'll be banned from her diner for life...she always takes offense if I don't finish the grits...'Was something wrong with your grits, sugar..?..'...And bacon!?....When I ask for tender bacon in a diner in the US, I get either a few strips of carbonized crunchy evilness on my plate or a few strips of fat!!!??...With no bacon!!??...Ok pancakes and eggs or even steak and eggs rocks but may I be so presumptuous as to introduce the concept of the great British fry up..? The perfect cure for any hangover and besides, Empires were built on the back of a great 'full English' my friends....

For my British brothers...when in the states...never, never ask for bacon as you will get the shock of your bloody lives!!!

Form my American brothers...feel free to slam us back...as it's all in good humor and just for fun!

I say: Dude, I don't know. Everytime I go to the South, I decide to try them again, thinking, "Maybe I am finally grown up enough to enjoy grits."

I always find them beyond bland.

I said: I've been in Britain, and I vageuly remember being displeased with the ham or whatever it was you guys serve there. What's the difference between what we serve and what you serve? I forget.

The French do breakfast well.

Most of the rest of their food sucks.

Paris is shitty place to eat because all they have is French restaurants. In the UK, you can actually get a lot of good food, because there are restaurants from all over the world.

Awesome place to eat.

In the Uk we tend to have our bacon tender and it tends to be much leaner. American bacon in my experience, tends to be what we call streaky and much much fattier, probably because you guys have it crispy...so I guess the fat helps to make it crispy. Also we tend to have back bacon....

I agree about our ham....basically just salt!

Fortunately we can now get good Bavarian ham...mmmmm

American baked beans are better though....much nicer, apple juie beans with ham...mmmmmmmmm....

;)

Pastorius you must have had a full English?!

If not next time you are in blightey, find the seediest looking greasy spoon and ask for a full English...with all the works!...You won't be ready to eat again till dinner time and your arteries will hate you.....but mmmmmm.....what a feast!...Also tastes better with an evil hangover....

;).....!

I couldn't watch the video after several attempts . . .however the term "pub landlord" and British comedian gave me enough info to locate this version:
