Obama is really locking up the endorsements. For instance, the people of Saudi Arabia overwhelmingly love Obama.
Good job, Moshiach.
From Gateway Pundit:
There is overwhelming support among Saudis and expatriates here in the Kingdom for Democratic candidate Barack Hussein Obama as the next US president.
A cross-section of both groups told Arab News yesterday that they wanted Obama to succeed George W. Bush. One Saudi said Obama was preferred because he is black while an expatriate felt his middle name suggested a willingness to tackle the contentious issues facing the Muslim world.
On Aug. 27, the Democratic Party nominated Obama as its presidential candidate and Joe Biden as his running mate. On the following day, Republican candidate John McCain picked Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin as his running mate.
Some Saudis said the US elections were a non-event for them, as it had nothing to do with their day-to-day lives. “I really did not know there was a presidential election in the United States in the first place.
“Some believed Obama is a Muslim because of his middle name. All the blacks so far in power at various levels have shown their commitment and determination to serve the country and the world without discrimination of color and religion. However, the track record of whites has been to side with Israel rather than with Muslim countries. We now have a ray of hope in Obama. We expect him to solve the problems facing the Muslim world, including those in Iraq, Palestine and Kashmir. What has happened after Sept. 11, 2001, is that Muslims are being dubbed terrorists. We extend our support to Obama or anyone who will be able to solve problems related to the Muslim world,” said Yousuf.

Drill our own oil-make the Saudis a non-issue-they will no longer have our $$$ to spread their ....
christian soldier,
I couldn't agree more.
Pastorius,
Not only are they religious bigots, (they hate anyone who doesn't share their faith) apparently the Saudis are racists as well. I hate to say it, but Obama might side with the Arabs over Israel, but does that have more to do with his race, or does it have more to do with his world view?
Odd that the muslims overseas support Obama for exactly the same meaningless reasons that many people in the US oppose him: Racism and false rumors that he may be a muslim.
He isn't a muslim - that question has been tackled too many times already, the rumor just won't die.
Suricou Raven,
He is a Christian (because in this country a person is a member of the religion they decide to be a member of.
If he had been born in a Muslim country and had decided to become a Christian, he would be considered a Muslim apostate.
Because, once you are born a Muslim, that's it. If your father is a Muslim, then you are a Muslim.
Additionally, the man goes to a Christian Church which is extremely concerned with Islam and the Reverend Louis Farrakhan, as was evidenced when Father Pfleger spoke at the church and talked about Farrkhan and the crowd went nuts.
Your blanket statement that he is not a Muslim is true in the strictly American sense of how we define a person's religion. However, it is severely lacking in the way it deals with the entire picture of what is going on with Barack Obama and his former church of twenty years.
Why do you simplify? What is your point in doing so?
I've heard the speculation, but I haven't seen anything to that effect.
I put up a quickie link to this posting at my site.
Maybe if the USA would leave the Middle East (eventually). Find other alternative resources for fuel. The Usa needs to stop being so dependent on OIL to breathe...
Nice example of Saudi inversionism---when all their eggs are in the wrong basket (Islam), they attempt to repaint their basket to appear like it respects modern concepts of universal rights. Their common sense humanity is undermined by their doctinaire Islam, and never the two shall meet, but only bear twisted logic and lies.
