The Brussels Journal has never, to my knowledge, advocated violence. I find them to be bigoted. I find their agenda to be ridiculous. I find it insane that the counter-Jihad movement allowed itself to be hijacked by the cause of Belgian secessionists.
But, I don't find them to be violent.
Does Europe know what Freedom of Speech is?
A quote from Belgian newspaper Gazet van Antwerpen, 27 July 2011:

Security services in our country will file a case with federal prosecutors about a possible link between The Brussels Journal and the Norwegian killer Anders Behring Breivik. (...) Security services would like to shed some light on a few things. In the past few years, The Brussels Journal has published a number of articles which also appear in "2038 A European Declaration of Independence", the manifest that Breivik distributed just before his attacks. (...) Now that security services have compiled a dossier, the prosecutor must decide whether an investigation will be started.

Reading the item, it actually says the Security Services received a complaint and are investigating. The rest is hearsay and rhetoric and jumping the gun is what we should not do.
The investigation alone is intended to stifle. This should give our regime ideas for their next move.
Agree that the entire point is to CHILL OPEN DISCUSSION.
Canada's recent stupidities, HERE, illustrate this.
I am thoroughly uncomfortable with some of the things they and Paul Belien have had to say and believe. But we can see why the USA allowed the Nazis to march in Skokie.
ONLY BY PROTECTING THE RIGHTS OF THE MOST HIDEOUS AND OBNOXIOUS AMONG US, DO WE PROTECT OUR OWN FREE SPEECH
Belien has every right to be a monor IN PUBLIC SPEECH. And we have the right to totally ignore him, or excoriate him.
The state, by arrogating to itself not just the power to compel him by financial (legal defense) blackmail to shut up, but the breathtaking assumption that it is possible to halt the violently insane by removing what the state judges to be their stimulation has defined the end point of Kafka.
Thank GOD we are not like Europe. I would much rather suffer the Arthur Butz's of the world than restrict free speech.
I believe Paul Belien is no longer associated with the Brussels Journal. Notice how cheap and crappy their webpage looks now, unresponsive too. What the hell happened?
Anders Breivik left a couple comments at Gates of Vienna back in 2008, under the name year2183. Lucky for GoV they're out of the jurisdiction of the Belgian police state.

Public prosecution department to look at Norway shooter mailing list
Thursday 28 July 2011
The public prosecution department will study the list of addresses in an email from Norway gunman Anders Behring Breivik to see if any are in the Netherlands, Trouw reports on Thursday.
The mailing was sent out just hours before Breivik went on the rampage, killing 76 people.
Dutch right-wing columnist Erik van Goor told the Telegraaf he was on the list of people who had been sent an email. However, Van Goor said he had not actually received anything in either his inbox or spam.
'I think Breivik must have gotten my name from another mailing list... I have never had anything to do with him,' he told the paper.
In the manfesto, Breivik details how he collected email addresses from people he thought may be sympathetic to his cause.
According to one Belgian recipient, at least one .nl address is on the contact list.
On Wednesday, Trouw said there would be no investigation into any Dutch link.
