the USA will decline, RAPIDLY. IMO, this decline will be so rapid and have such powerful disintegration forces within it, that the very people so opposed to Mr. Trump CUTTING their budget (and job?) will lose what they are trying to preserve because most of the people of the USA will pretend to be caring and the government will founder in an ever tightening spiral of vigilant control to reverse the Imodium of spirit, expressed as increasing tax revenues among the flattening and finally decreasing pay, and financial worth.

The Constitution was set up to STOP central government from vacuuming up all the power in the air of the nation. It did this by cynically using the ambition, greed, and subconscious drives of humans to be in opposition to each other.
But somewhere between a responsible societal desire to care for older Americans who could no longer work, and worry over the thickness of peregrine falcon eggshells our good intentions created the space for the government which has now run up $20,000,000,000,000 of debt to tell us how to get rid of our BOWEL MOVEMENTS and Urine (1.6 gallons at a time), and the LAW which decided that was formulated, considered, ‘passed’ and enforced without that branch of government the Constitution COMPELS to move, debate and legislate law, to be passed or vetoed by the President getting involved.
We now have a Congress whose LAZINESS at the point of decision during the rise of the EPA ceded power to the regulation and law making apparatus INVENTED inside MANY cabinet departments using the EPA as their example for expansion.
We all remember the Dept of the Interior fining into nonexistence each day the family in WY who had merely put a pond in the midst of their own land for their children to fish from.
We all remember the stories (some apocryphal) of cabinet departments making ammunition purchases for their own internal enforcement arms.
We all remember the Bureau of Land Management and their war against the Bundy family over grazing, resulting in a huge standoff.
We all remember the armed invasion over Elian Gonzalez which Janet Reno ENFORCED. She did not have to, but in doing so, made the choice which resulted in the face the federal government wears.
Make no mistake, this is the real end point of federal regulation.
We in Maine and other northern tier states BARELY escaped EPA self arrogated ‘regulation’ (made without the debate compulsory in Congress) which would have made our main (and affordable) source of heat nearly unusable. In WV, PA, OH and KY at the least, the President used his tool of the EPA to DESTROY the coal industry as he had publicly promised, by enacting rules which were impossible to adhere to. The result? So many opioid overdose deaths in WV that families cannot pay for, the state RAN OUT OF MONEY to bury the dead (WaPo).
Yesterday Trump released his budget (proposal) which includes REAL cuts to the departments. The result was, among other things, a twitter storm asking many thousands of times if Sesame Street needed to die for Mulvaney’s salary. Missing was the real question, and answer that we are in such DIRE economic conditions after a decade of no income growth, but LARGE tax revenue growth and career/job losses that we can no longer afford the LUXURY of BOTH Big Bird and caring for our veterans’ hard earned medical care, and have thus chosen the health of the people who have served us over PUPPETS for children. Parents, take over. Vets need the help first.
Several years ago the interest on the national debt when it was about $17,000,000,000,000 was 3/4ths the size (~$460 Bn) of the ENTIRE MEDICARE program. It is no coincidence that our debt, the increase in govt power and size, and the inverse income and net worth of the PEOPLE have all gone together. Soon, the interest will exceed this and the defense dep’t budget. WHat will tell ourselves when the interest on the debt is the largest single budget item?
We are reaching the end. Bad things are coming.
Congress MUST fulfill it’s responsibility and must be filled with people WHO SERVE, not career politicians and parasites off lobbies.
Judges cannot MAKE law and foreign policy.
Presidents CANNOT seize power
Congress cannot abandon that power to the President.
All of this is happening.

Shallow thinking. Or maybe I should say, no thinking at all!
And don't get me started on crapper control. As a caregiver, I have nightmare stories to tell of the 1.6 gallon flush. Much swirling, but no swallowing. Up to my elbows in urine and feces. And many Americans are worried about losing Big Bird. Gimme a break!
Yesterday, I had to buy a new hot water heater. Regulation: alarm required. No doubt that damn alarm will, one day, malfunction and deafen everyone in the house. At 2:00 A.M.
For at least a century, we all got by without that safety feature of an alarm.
