Defense officials confirmed that the Islamic State has been pumping reinforcements into Mosul during the battle that was launched in mid-October, but said the maintained level of militants there doesn't indicate a stalemate....

UPDATED - Priest Slaughtered Inside Church In Normandy, France

The church in Saint-Etienne-du-Rouvray

This morning, we have reports that an octogenarian priest was murdered inside a church in Saint-Etienne-du-Rouvray in Normandy. Two attackers wielding knives took five hostages, including the priest. The attackers have been killed by the police.

Some reports state that the priest was beheaded; other reports state that the priest's throat was cut.

The ruling, contained in a January 31, 2015 document reviewed by Reuters, says taking organs from a living captive to save a Muslim's life, even if it is fatal for the captive, is permissible....

According to a November 27 article in the Telegraph, Barack Obama plan to defeat Isil dismissed by US intelligence experts: Former and serving diplomats and intelligence officials tell the Telegraph that President Obama's hopes of defeating Islamic State are based on "smoke and mirrors" and the intelligence community is totally broken, particularly with regard to a strategy for defeating the Islamic State.

Think about the progression over the course of less than two weeks.

On November 12, Barack Hussein Obama tells George Stephanopoulos that ISIS is definitely "contained" and, in essence, not an existential threat because the Moslem savages are not gaining strength.

Then on November 13 come the Paris jihad slaughters.

Next, on November 21, Brussels, the headquarters of NATO and the seat of the European Union, goes on lockdown for several days.

On November 25, Barack Hussein Obama addresses the American people to tell us "the combined resources of our military, our intelligence, and our homeland security agencies are on the case" and "be vigilant."

BREAKING: Multiple Shots Fired In Chattanooga On The Armed Forces Career Center AND Navy Recruitment Center

JUST NOW ON THE NEWS @ 2:22 PM, EDT: FOUR MARINES KILLED!

There have been shootings at multiple places in Chattanooga, including near a U.S. Army Reserve center and a Navy recruiting center in the Tennessee city on Thursday, and a police officer was hit by gunfire, officials and local media reports said.

There have been several shootings at several different locations," said Tennessee Highway Patrol spokesman John Harmon. "It's a fluid situation," said Harmon, whose agency was helping local authorities.

"We've got an officer down," Chattanooga Mayor Andy Berke told reporters, calling it a "very terrible situation."

The U.S. Navy said it was investigating a report of a shooting at a Navy recruiting center in Chattanooga....

An eyewitness, a woman who states that she was 10 feet away from shooter, is saying that she was "a white guy in a silver Mustang." No tags on the car. The shooter was using a "high-powered rifle."

The photo that I'm seeing on CNN is showing at least 18 bullet holes in the doors of the Navy Reserve Recruiting Station, which is in a strip mall.

There is also an unconfirmed report of a man driving a black BMW firing on the other location.

The two sites fired upon are 7.5 miles apart.

Addendum 1: Chattanooga Police are Tweeting out that the active shooter situation is resolved. News conference coming in a few minutes.

Addendum 2: According to reports on CNN, the shooter is dead. Buildings still remain on lock down, however.

Addendum 3: Four Marines injured [UPDATE: MARINES KILLED]. Chattanooga City Police officer wounded, but not seriously.

Addendum 4: Lock downs have ended. There are reports that the shooter and/or the police fired 100 rounds and that there was a shootout between the shooter and the police - with the end coming with two shots at the shooter after he fled into the woods of the big park in that part of Chattanooga.

The Isis militant group has seized enough radioactive material from government facilities to suggest it has the capacity to build a large and devastating “dirty” bomb, according to Australian intelligence reports.

Isis declared its ambition to develop weapons of mass destruction in the most recent edition of its propaganda magazine Dabiq, and Indian defence officials have previously warned of the possibility the militants could acquire a nuclear weapon from Pakistan.
According to the Australian foreign minister, Julie Bishop, Nato has expressed deep concerns about the materials seized by Isis from research centres and hospitals that would normally only be available to governments.
The threat of Isis’s radioactive and biological weapons stockpile was so severe that the Australia Group, a 40-nation bloc dedicated to ending the use of chemical weapons, held a session on the subject at its summit in Perth last week.

“This is really worrying them,” Ms Bishop said in an interview with The Australian.
 Julie Bishop, Australia's Minister for Foreign Affairs When they swept across territory in Syria and Iraq, she said, “the insurgents did not just clear out the cash from local banks”.
Last week Ms Bishop spoke at the Australia Group meeting about fears Isis was weaponising poisonous gases such as chlorine.
And speaking to The Australian, she confirmed that the concerns she was raising stemmed from reports filed by the Australian department of defence as well the foreign office.
The growing concerns about Isis’s development of weapons of mass destruction come at a time when experts fear the militant group will be “more active than ever” to mark the start of Ramadan and the one-year anniversary of its declaration of a “caliphate”.
Isis said it was changing its name to “Islamic State” following the first public address by its leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi in Mosul on 29 June last year, and the US-based Institute for the Study of War has noted that the group usually reserves its major operations to coincide with the Islamic holy month.

“Isis is likely to begin and end Ramadan with attempted spectacular military offensive actions in Iraq and Syria,” it said.

The document shows that as early as 2012, U.S. intelligence predicted the rise of the Islamic State in Iraq and the Levant (ISIL or ISIS), but instead of clearly delineating the group as an enemy, the report envisions the terror group as a U.S. strategic asset.

While a number of analysts and journalists have documented long ago the role of western intelligence agencies in the formation and training of the armed opposition in Syria, this is the highest level internal U.S. intelligence confirmation of the theory that western governments fundamentally see ISIS as their own tool for regime change in Syria. In new recording, Abu Mohammad al-Adnani rejects claims group suffering setbacks, vows attacks on White House, Big Ben, and Eiffel Tower. 

A spokesperson for the Islamic State militants released a recording claiming the group was not deterred by reports that its forces were forced out of the Iraqi city of Tikrit. 

“The Islamic State will remain, and it is only getting stronger and achieving more victories,” said Abu Mohammad al-Adnani in the recording. He claimed that ISIS leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi accepted the oath of allegiance by his Boko Haram counterpart and called on Muslims to immigrate to the area. 

The ISIS spokesperson directed several threats towards Jews and Christians, saying they faced two options: “Convert to Islam or pay the ultimate price when your armies are expelled from Muhammad’s peninsula, from Jerusalem, and all Muslim lands.” 

He warned that if Jews and Christians choose a third way – and insist on their current path – they will soon regret their choice and be unable to stop the surge to the caliphate. “The Jews and the Crusaders are scared and weak,” said al-Adnani.

Al-Khansa, the all-female Islamic State (IS) brigade, have arrested and punished 15 women in Mosul.

Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP) official from Mosul Saed Mamuzini told BasNews that al-Khansa arrested the 15 women for failing to wear the niqab.

They were arrested on Sunday in the Salamiya neighborhood of Mosul.

Mamuzini said al-Khansa militants disfigured the women by pouring acid on their faces.

“They have implemented this punishment so that other women in the city will never consider removing or not wearing the niqab,” he said.

Last month members of IS executed a number of women by stoning. They were accused of adultery.

A manifesto for women published by the Islamic State (IS) group has criticized Western attitudes to women, saying that this so-called “Western model” has failed, that a woman’s place is in the home, and that Western women’s fashions, like earrings, are the work of the devil. 

The manifesto, titled Women of the Islamic State, was shared on the Internet on January 23 by the IS group’s all-women unit, the Al-Khanssa Brigade. An English version of the manifesto was shared on February 5 by the Britain-based antiextremism think tank the Quilliam Foundation. 

It focuses on women’s daily lives and the role of women in an Islamic society and in the “caliphate” (the name given by the IS group to the areas under its control). The overarching message of the manifesto is that women should be “sedentary” while men are characterized by “movement and flux.” 

Earrings and hair “shaved in some places and not others” are the Devil’s work The Islamic State’s manifesto on women also covers the important issue of women’s fashion which, unsurprisingly, it condemns as the work of “Iblis” or the devil. 

The manifesto conflates jewelry such as earrings with plastic surgery, claiming that the devil encourages vulnerable women to “spend huge amounts of money to change God’s creation” including via surgery to alter “the nose, ear, chin and nails.” 

The devil, according to the manifesto, preys on women in “fashion shops and beauty salons,” encouraging them to have “things dangling from ears” and “hair shaved in some places and not others.”

“Islamic State militants are selling abducted Iraqi children at markets as sex slaves, and killing other youth, including by crucifixion or burying them alive, a United Nations watchdog said on Wednesday.

“Iraqi boys aged under 18 are increasingly being used by the militant group as suicide bombers, bomb makers, informants or human shields to protect facilities against U.S.-led air strikes, the U.N. Committee on the Rights of the Child said.

“”We are really deeply concerned at torture and murder of those children, especially those belonging to minorities, but not only from minorities,” committee expert Renate Winter told a news briefing. “The scope of the problem is huge.”

“Children from the Yazidi sect or Christian communities, but also Shi’ites and Sunnis, have been victims, she said.”

AFP described the report:

“CRC, which is composed of 18 independent experts who monitor the implementation of international children’s rights treaties, denounced numerous cases of IS militants torturing and murdering children, especially those from minorities.
“The group has been targeting and attacking schools, executing teachers and subjecting children to systematic sexual abuse, including sexual slavery, the committee said.

“Children (are) being used as suicide bombers, including children with disabilities or who were sold to armed groups by their families,” said the report, which also detailed how children were used as “human shields” to protect IS facilities from airstrikes, to work at checkpoints or build bombs for the jihadists.”

Islamic State Operative Details Ways They Are Flooding Europe With Jihadists Hidden Among Refugees

ANTAKYA, Turkey — An ISIS operative traveled across the Syrian border late last year, settled in a Turkish port city, and began work on a mission to sneak jihadis into Europe. It has been successful, he said, in an interview near the Turkey-Syria border: “Just wait.” 

The operative, a Syrian in his thirties with a close-cropped black beard, said ISIS is sending covert fighters to Europe — as did two smugglers who said they have helped. He smuggles them from Turkey in small groups, he said, hidden in cargo ships filled with hundreds of refugees. 

He said the fighters intend to fulfill ISIS’s threat to stage attacks in the West. He views this as retaliation for U.S.-led airstrikes against the group that began in Iraq last summer and Syria last fall. 

“If someone attacks me,” he said, speaking with BuzzFeed News on condition of anonymity, “then for sure I will attack them back.” 

Western governments worried even before the airstrikes that ISIS would find ways to get its battle-hardened fighters across their borders. 

The operative is the first ISIS member involved in these plans to discuss them with the press. 

He detailed a scheme that takes advantage of the worst humanitarian crisis in a generation, which has sent 3.8 million refugees fleeing Syria’s civil war, pouring more than 1.5 million into Turkey alone. 

From Turkish port cities like Izmir and Mersin, many thousands of these refugees have ventured across the sea, aiming mainly for Italy. Then they often make for more welcoming countries like Sweden and Germany, turning themselves over to authorities and appealing for asylum. 

The operative said he worked with smugglers to slip fighters into this chaotic human tide. “They are going like refugees,” he said. Two refugee-smugglers in Turkey said they helped ISIS send fighters to Europe in this way. 

One put more than 10 of them on his ships, then got cold feet when asked to send more, he told BuzzFeed News last fall. Another said he’d been sending ISIS fighters for months and continues to do so. 

“I’m sending some fighters who want to go and visit their families,” he said in an interview in southern Turkey, speaking on condition of anonymity. “Others just go to Europe to be ready.” 

Among his colleagues in the port city where he works, the smuggler has a reputation for transporting fighters. BuzzFeed News contacted him after meeting the ISIS operative, seeking to investigate the operative’s claims. 

At first he denied that he smuggled fighters at all; then he said he needed “permission” to discuss the issue with a journalist. Soon after he revealed that he worked for the ISIS operative, who confirmed this and allowed the interview. 

The smuggler said some fighters were Syrian. He could tell from their accents that others hailed from elsewhere in the Middle East, while still others spoke Arabic poorly, or not at all. Some told him they were from European countries, he said, and a few claimed to be from the U.S.

As you might expect, it won’t be showing any reruns of Friends. The new channel is set to broadcast only propaganda....

D.C.: ISIS Threatening Jewish-Owned Business

ISIS Claim: "Islamic State does have a Dirty bomb"

Islamic State terrorists are now claiming on social media that they have a "dirty bomb" in their possession. ISIS-affiliated users initially professed the information on Twitter, and added they had stolen 40 kg of Uranium from Mosul University after the city was overtaken by the jihadis in June.

UK’s Mirror reported that an ISIS supporter revealed the terror group had already weaponized the Uranium and turned it into a "dirty bomb."

“O by the way Islamic State does have a Dirty bomb. We found Radioactive [sic] material from Mosul university,” said the tweet by Islamic State militant who called himself Muslim al-Britani. “We’ll find out what dirty bombs are and what they do. We’ll also discuss what might happen if one actually went off in a public area.”

He added, threateningly, “This sort of bomb would be terribly destructive if went off in LONDON becuz it would be more of a disruptive than a destructive weapon.”

The man responsible for the Twitter post reportedly fled Britain in 2012 after posting bail on terrorism charges. He is believed to be in Syria fighting for the Islamic State.

Iraq’s UN Ambassador said in July that the nuclear material had been stolen from the Mosul University, which led UN Sec-General Ban Ki-moon to warn the substances “can be used in manufacturing weapons of mass destruction.

"These nuclear materials, despite the limited amounts mentioned, can enable terrorist groups, with the availability of the required expertise, to use it separate or in combination with other materials in its terrorist acts," said Mohamed Ali Alhakim, the UN’s Ambassador to Iraq.

Is the Islamic state bluffing? Don't count on it.
