At This Point, I'd Have To Be A God Damned Fool To Wake Up And Not Expect To Find That Muslims Have Murdered 50 More People For No Good Reason

Nigeria: Muslim Animals Murder At Least 50 Agricultural Students

From AP:
POTISKUM, Nigeria (AP) — Suspected Islamic extremists attacked an agricultural college in the dead of night, gunning down dozens of students as they slept in dormitories and torching classrooms in an ongoing Islamic uprising in northeast Nigeria, the school's provost said.
As many as 50 students may have been killed in the attack that began at about 1 a.m. Sunday in rural Gujba, Provost Molima Idi Mato of the Yobe State College of Agriculture, told The Associated Press.
"They attacked our students while they were sleeping in their hostels, they opened fire at them," he said.
He said he could not give an exact death toll as security forces still are recovering bodies.
The Nigerian military has collected 42 bodies and transported 18 injured students to Damaturu Specialist Hospital, said a military intelligence official, who insisted on anonymity because he is not authorized to speak to the press.
The school's other 1,000 enrolled students have fled the college that is about 40 kilometers (25 miles) north of the scene of similar school attacks around Damaturu town, said provost Mato.
He said there were no security forces stationed at the college despite government assurances that they would be deployed. The state commissioner for education, Mohammmed Lamin, called a news conference two weeks ago urging all schools to reopen and promising protection from soldiers and police.
Most schools in the area closed after militants on July 6 killed 29 pupils and a teacher, burning some alive in their hostels, at Mamudo outside Damaturu.
Northeastern Nigeria is under a military state of emergency to battle an Islamic uprising prosecuted by Boko Haram militants who have killed more than 1,700 people since 2010 in their quest for an Islamic state. Boko Haram means Western education is forbidden in the local Hausa language.

"I’m not scared because I didn’t do anything wrong”

Tarik (Terry) Dehko after suing the federal govt (IRS) for RETURN of $35k seized from his grocery store account.
The IRS, claiming he was purposefully trying to dodge the law which requires banks to report deposits over $10k sucked all the cash he had in his business account 8 months ago. He employs 30 people at his family owned grocery store.
Of course, Mr. Dehko a first generation immigrant, could have told them his insurance policies insure ONLY up to $10k cash deposits at any one time.
If there is a better example of the govt run amok on individuals than this one, over a family business, I can’t imagine what it could be.
No claim of a broken law is made by the govt.
This is pure 100% Kafka. ‘We make up so many rules, you are all breaking them, even though you will never know it, UNTIL WE LOOK. Which we will do when it pleases us’

USA TODAY:
Civil forfeiture is now one of the most serious assaults on individual rights in America. It allows the government to take cash, cars, homes and other property from people without ever convicting or even charging them with a crime. Worse, civil forfeiture turns the American principle of innocent until proven guilty on its head. To get their money back, Terry and Sandy must go to court against the full might of the Department of Justice to prove their innocence. In fact, the vast majority of civil forfeiture cases nationwide are never heard by a judge or jury because victims can seldom afford to fight the seizures.
HAT TIP CHRISTINE ON THIS INCREDIBLE STORY

Obama can use executive action to stop any shutdown ANY TIME HE WANTS

He just tells the Treasury Dept to PRINT, PRINT, PRINT
We now have a dysfunctional govt.
We have a national family that hates itself, and has 12 steps zealots and drug addicts seeing each other in a mirror.
A little pressure there for Boehner et al?
A little pressure for Obama?
Is anyone practical left in Washington?
They are one class. We, out here, are another. It couldn’t be more obvious. When the president, congress, the entire 3 branches ALL SUBMIT to ACA, we MIGHT have a start towards one class.
BOTH PARTIES.
It is absolutely clear that the founders did NOT intend for the govt of the USA to be PARTISAN (Federalist #10).
SCOTUS:
"The Framers preferred a political system that harnessed such faction for good, preserving liberty while also ensuring good government. Rather than adopting the repressive ‘cure’ for faction that the majority today endorses, the Framers armed individual citizens with a remedy".
We are losing BOTH good govt and liberties (NSA) and the fact that both are evaporating simultaneously is NOT a coincidence
Congressmen and Senators who SERVE THE NATION would find a compromise and be PRACTICAL in doing so, and move ahead.
Soon enough the ACA will tell us all if it was a good idea. The people dumped the Volstead Act, an AMENDMENT. I suppose we can repeal this thing as well.
Don’t they all realize WE ALL REALIZE this is all action to see who blame lands on for VOTERS BEING HARMED?

We’ve already LOST sales, and in a (so called) NATO ally. Here are two items from well informed sources.
WELL INFORMED.
Turkey turns down U.S., buys Chinese missile defense system
ANKARA — Turkey, rejecting its NATO allies, has selected a ballistic missile defense system from China.
The Defense Industry Executive Council approved a Chinese bid for the HQ-9 BMD system.

China’s HQ-9 ballistic missile defense system.
The council, responsible for major military procurement, deemed the offer by the state-owned China Precision Machinery Export-Import Corp. as the lowest bidder in the T-LORAMIDS tender.
"Ankara has granted a long-awaited tender for long-range missile and air defense systems to Chinese contenders, dismissing bids from major NATO allies such as the United States, France and Italy," Turkey’s state-owned Andalou news agency said.
The decision, announced on Sept. 26, marked a two-year delay of Turkey’s multi-billion-dollar BMD program. Until 2013, the U.S.-origin PAC-3 was deemed the frontrunner in the competition.
Officials said the Chinese bid came to $3 billion, as little as half of other bids, including the Russian-origin S-300PMU2, Eurosam’s SAMP/T Aster 30 and Lockheed Martin’s PAC-3. They said the Chinese system was promoted by Prime Minister Recep Erdogan, chairman of the council.
Over the last few months, the United States as well as other NATO states urged Erdogan not to select the HQ-9, said to be a variant of the S-300. They said NATO would not connect its BMD assets, including those in Turkey, to HQ-9.
In 2013, NATO deployed six Patriot batteries in Turkey to defend against any Syrian missile attack. The batteries were contributed by Germany, the Netherlands and the United States.
State-owned China firm invests $3 billion in Turkish energy

China Machinery Engineering Corp. headquarters.

ANKARA — China has sought a role in Turkey’s energy sector and is pursuing an alliance.
The state-owned China Machinery Engineering Corp. has been negotiating to participate in Turkish energy development projects.
The company, with a presence in Turkey for nearly 30 years, has also sought to help develop power for the Ankara government.
"We have already had talks with a number of potential local partners, and our teams have been working on the details of the power generation and power distribution sectors of Turkey, which is very developed in the construction industry," CMEC president Zhang Chun said.
In an interview with Turkey’s Hurriyet daily, Zhang said CMEC would invest up to $100 million in equity capital for power projects in Turkey. He said the company, with an office in Ankara, has already invested more than $3 billion in the NATO member-state.
"We will make the required acquisitions from Turkey both in construction materials and services as well."

DP111: When The West Gets It's Ass Out Of The Middle East We Can Begin To Clean Up The Problem At Home

DP111 is a anti-Jihad commenter. He's been around in this fight longer than me, if I am not mistaken. I began writing publicly in March 2004. I don't remember him not being around.

Anyway, I read this interesting comment from him over at the Vlad Tepes blog.

The comment begins by discussing the subject of whether it is haram for Muslims to emigrate to non-Muslim countries simply to make more money:

A prominent Calgary imam, Syed Soharwardy of the Islamic Supreme Council of Canada, recently declared that many Muslims should go back to their Muslim-majority homelands.
It is against Islam, he said, for Muslims to migrate to non-Muslim countries for the purpose of economic betterment.
He is right. Around 5 years ago, a leading French imam said the same. The statement relies on several factors
1. Muslims are allowed to emigrate to non-Muslim countries if there exists a good possibility that they can, with time, make the non-Muslim country adopt sharia as the legal code.
2. If the possibility seems to be receding, then it is not acceptable that Muslims are subject to Infidel laws. The danger also exists that Muslim children, particularly Muslim girls, will start to leave Islam, under the legal protection afforded by them by the Infidel state. Thus immigration to a Infidel state starts to harm Islam – which is not acceptable.
Such a state of affairs also starts to affect Muslim countries, where the young may get infected by their relatives visiting from the West.
So far our policy after 9/11, has been to destabilise, and economically and socially destroy one Muslim country after another, using any pretext we get away with. As our own polity is increasingly wary of direct intervention, we have adopted the policy of supporting al Qaeda etal as a tool to do the same..
This policy has come unstuck in Syria because Russia has interests in Syria. But I’m sure we will return to Syria in 5 to 10 years. The strategic policy adopted by the US and the UK, has a 50 year life span at the least, and will continue until Islamic countries are how should I put it, immunised to Islam.
As long as our troops were in Muslim countries, we adopted the quite reasonable policy of appeasing Muslims at home, just to have peace at home. This was very evident in the US and the UK, who had the largest contingents of soldiers in Muslim countries. When our troops are back, a more vigorous policy is going to be adopted to Islam at home. This is already evident in the case of the “burqa” – France, Belgium, Italy, Ticino in Switzerland, and now even a debate in the UK.

Not So Dry Run? MAC 11 Subcompact Machine Pistol Found In A Closet In Kennedy Airport

Someone with the TSA probably planted it for one of their Jihadist friends, IMO.

I hope that's not a too terribly racist thing to say.

From Fox News:
NEW YORK – Authorities say a subcompact machine pistol in a case has been discovered inside a storage closet in a locked management office at Kennedy International Airport.
A spokesman for the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey police said Thursday a contractor running cable through a ceiling in the office made the discovery at about 10:10 a.m.
Spokesman Joe Pentangelo said only a controlled group of people have access to the office, which is located in Terminal 1, outside the secure area.
It was not immediately clear if the office was publicly accessible. Pentangelo says the MAC 11 machine pistol wasn’t loaded and no ammunition was found. He said investigators are determining whether the pistol is even operable.
The investigation is ongoing.

Good News: Only 313 Companies Have Cut Workers Hours Because of Obamacare ... So Far

Obama Contemplates The Little People

From Investors:
ObamaCare's impact on jobs is hotly debated by politicians and economists. Critics say the Affordable Care Act, with its employer mandate to provide health insurance, gives businesses an incentive to cut workers' hours. This year, report after report has rolled in about employers restricting work hours to fewer than 30 per week — the point where the mandate kicks in. Data also point to a record low workweek in low-wage industries.
In the interest of an informed debate, we've compiled a list of job actions with strong proof that ObamaCare's employer mandate is behind cuts to work hours or staffing levels. As of Sept. 25, our ObamaCare scorecard included 313 employers. Here's our latest analysis, focusing on cuts to adjunct hours at nearly 200 college campuses. The ObamaCare list methodology is explained further in our initial coverage; click on the employer names in the list below for links to supporting records, mostly news accounts or official documents.
We'll continue to update the list, which we encourage you to share and download into a spreadsheet to sort and analyze. If you know of an employer that should be on the list and can provide supporting evidence, please contact IBD at jed.graham@investors.com.

Exiled On Main Street: In Which A Westerner Yells At Two Burqa-Wearing Bitches On The Street

Where Am I?

From Taki:
The Swiss canton of Ticino is holding a referendum on a burqa ban, and it is about time. Burqa, niqab—it’s all Arabic to me, although I understand firsthand how deep-seated the hatred of women is in Arab countries that men wish to cover them up.
I find it incredible that in the time of terror bombings a person can totally conceal themselves while people who sit on parliamentary benches defend the act.
As I walked down Gstaad’s main street, a totally covered-up person whizzed by on a bicycle. Main Street in Gstaad is a car-free area now made much more dangerous by Arab women—again, if they are women—trying to stay upright on two wheels. After avoiding her I watched a group of covered-up ladies slowly make their way around the expensive shops that line the street.
“Hi, girls!” I yelled at them and smiled. “Relax, this is Switzerland—put on your bikinis.” A fat man approached me pumping his fist and looking like Orlando Furioso. But the only real Orlando Furioso was the poor little Greek boy who told him to shut the f—- up, that this was still a free country and that he would be chewing on his gums sooner rather than later if his manner didn’t improve.

Guess what? It improved. A couple of Swiss taxi drivers who witnessed the scene told me well done, but of course they wouldn’t dare do it themselves because their tips would suffer.

Not all women who wear burqas are bad people.

But, in my opinion, every time you see a burqa, you are seeing evidence of Islamic extremism (in other words, you are seeing evidence of a believer in using Jihad as a means to establish Sharia law in YOUR country) manifest in either

1) the women herself,
2) the husband of the women,
3) the Imam at the Mosque they attend,
or
4) some combination of the the aforementioned.

For my purposes here, I abbreviate the whole Jihad mechanism - which I believe is at work when I see a burqa - to the simple:

BURQA-WEARING BITCHES.

I do not believe we ought to tolerate Burqa-Wearing Bitches in our midst.

I believe a woman wearing a burqa is no different than a Nazi wearing an armband, or a KKK member wearing a hood.

We know there are Nazis and White Supremacists in our midst. But, it is not in the interest of our society for these people to become too bold in proclaiming their beliefs in public.

When they are tolerated, they are normalized.

That is, the more people who would wear KKK hoods, Nazi armbands, or Burqas in public, the more we, as a society, come to accept these things as normal, part of the normal course of life.

We can not afford to allow this. Now, if I am not mistaken, Taki is not a man I would tend to agree with on some other subjects. But I believe he was right to do what he did here, and I think he is to be applauded for it.

Here's the thing: When I assert my opinion that a woman in a burqa is evidence of Islamic Extremism/Jihadism,

I AM EITHER RIGHT, OR I AM WRONG.

Or, some percentage in between.

But, given that the stakes are so high - indeed the stakes are our Freedom, our Constitution, our culture - it is in our best interest to find out whether I am right or wrong. We MUST soon endeavor to find out whether the burqa is evidence of Jihadist beliefs, because as we can see, our society is currently in the early stages of a process of normalizing the Burqa.

The problem is, how do we find out if what I say is true? The answer is, we do what we always do when we are faced with a question in the West. We apply Scientific principles to the question.

The scientific task at hand here is one for the Social Sciences. As Wiki states:
Social science refers to the academic disciplines concerned with the society and the relationships with individuals within a society, which primarily rely on empirical approaches.
I would suggest that, in this case, we need to do Social Research using a Quantitative Design to determine what percentage of women who wear Burqa in public either

1) hold Jihadist beliefs themselves, or
2) are backed upon (owned?) by men either in the home, or at the Mosque, who hold Jihadst beliefs, and are coercing them to wear the burqa in public.

This is simple stuff. Yes, it will require time and money. And, it will require a well-designed survey. But this is the stuff Western society does. This is what we are good at. This is what has separated us from the rest of the world.

It certainly is not racist, Islamophobic, or bigoted to use scientific principles to learn about Islamic culture within our society. We have used these Sociological principles to study all sorts of other cultures and microcultures within our society.

We just need to have the will to carry such research out. This is no easy task when we, as a society, are so intimidated by groups like CAIR, and other "Civil Rights"/Special Interest groups, with their endless litany of dog whistle code words (islamophobic, bigoted, etc.), whose real purposes is to obfuscate the truth, or shut down scientific dialectic altogether.

I, for one, believe Western Civilization does still have the will to protect itself. Certainly, the counter-Jihad movement must have people within it, whose expertise lies within the Social Sciences. Certainly, someone could do a bit of heavy-lifting in this arena.

As I wrote above, the stakes are so high, it's a small price to pay.

Like that ham and bacon? Time for Kosher, dudes. Chinese get OK to buy American pork producer - SMITHFIELD

AP:
China is bringing home some serious American bacon.
Shareholders of Smithfield Foods approved a plan to sell the world's largest pork producer and processor to a Chinese company.
The Smithfield, Va.-based company said more than 96 percent of the votes cast during a special meeting in Richmond on Tuesday were in favor of Shuanghui International Holdings Ltd.'s $34 per-share offer, or $4.72 billion in cash.
The deal, which is expected to close on Thursday, will be the largest takeover of a U.S. company by a Chinese firm, valued at about $7.1 billion including debt. Its sale to Hong Kong-based Shuanghui comes at a time of serious food safety problems in China, some of which have involved Shuanghui, which owns food and logistics enterprises and is the largest shareholder of China's biggest meat processor.
"We will cease to be the company you saw in the past," Smithfield's CEO Larry Pope told shareholders. "This does not mean the company goes away, the company just enters into a new phase and a new era of its life."
Smithfield's shares rose one cent to $33.99 in morning trading Tuesday, just short of the buyout offer.
Smithfield Foods, whose brands include Armour, Farmland and its namesake, was founded in 1936 and has grown to annual sales of $13 billion and has about 46,000 employees.
