Some 46 per cent of Muslims in the 9,600 respondent poll — a large sample for European polls — said they would consider “leaving France to settle in another country”. [...]
Muslims living in France are not the only group who told the pollster they’d consider going abroad. Almost as welling to sit out a Le Pen Presidency were supporters of hard-left leader Jean-Luc Melenchon, who seems a credible candidate to make it to the Presidential run-offs against Le Pen, and whose party has been accused of stoking recent riots in France for their own political ends. According to Marianne, 43 per cent of Melenchon voters say they’d consider leaving France.
With his polling hovering around 17 per cent nationally, the results imply five and a half million leftists in France who would consider reacting to losing an election by moving abroad.
This is certainly intriguing news, and for now, it remains to be seen how things will turn out.

Is This True?
Never forget: Ilhan Omar’s family didn’t flee Somalia as the oppressed. Her father came to the U.S. as a “refugee,” just like Yusuf Abdi Ali, who was accused of war crimes and later found liable for torture in a U.S. civil court. Yet, as far as publicly available information shows, her father never faced comparable scrutiny or accountability.
Consider this: Ali was deported from the US only two years ago, after a survivor pursued justice through the courts. It took a survivor’s determination to bring his abuses before a judge and jury. That’s the record.

TRUMP: BACK TO THE FUTURE
I've held some opinions for a while which, though I believe them to be true, I have alluded to them. I don't believe have made them clear.
I figure it is time to actually express these opinions clearly.
I believe two of Trump's major unspoken Foreign Policy strategies are simply repeats of 80's strategies, implemented by Reagan, but used against current adversaries.
And I think another one of his strategies is simply him looking at an old adversary, and implementing the strategy he believes Reagan SHOULD have implemented all those years ago.
What am I referring to?
1) Russia vs. Ukraine
2) China and the AI buildout
3) The Iran War
SO, let's talk about some things I have left unarticulated over the past few years. First,
Why Did I Change The Name of the Blog From Infidel Bloggers Alliance to Who Would Have Believed The Singularity Would Be So Stupid?
One of the reasons I changedt the name is, I don't think anyone gives a shit about our blog anymore, so I just do this as a way of observing the world, and collecting information about what I consider to be the important/significant events of our time.
But, more deeply
A long time ago, a friend of mine in the Anti-Jihad space, told me she was asked to work with the Lifeboat Foundation; an organisation which purports to be concerned with the bioethics of AI. She asked me if I thought she should, indeed, work with them. I told her my opinion was AI was a bigger long-term issue than Islam, but Islam was more immediate. So, in short, she should considerate as an important issue.
The reason I bring up this old story is, I have always thought AI was a huge issue. But what I believed would happen with AI vs. what currently appears to be happening with AI are two different things.
Influenced by Ray Kurzweil, I believed that AI would bring about the "Singularity" and humanity (remember "humanity"?) would be vaulted into a vast drama, wherein we would have to contend with deeply moral questions, such as, a) "What happens when human beings hare given unlimited power to destroy themselves?" , b) 'What happens when human beings have Omniscience, the power to surveil everything and everyone at all times?" (panopticon), and c) "What happens when people have virtual immortality?"
Instead, we contend with a world of AI slop, and the very real threat that AI slop will replace knowledge, and we we be vaulted into a New Dark Age, where no one knows what is true anymore, and have lost the faculties of logic and reason with which to learn.
So yes, that's why the name of this blog is "Who Would Have Believe The Singularity Would Be So Stupid?"
So now, "Back To The Future".
What do I believe about Trump''s strategies and why are they from the 1980's Back to Future Land?
Number 1 - Russia vs Ukraine
I believe Trump is applying the old 1980's Reagan strategy used in the Iran/Iraq War; that is encourage your enemies to beat the hell out of each other. Simple as that.
Number 2 - China and The AI Buildout
I believe Trump is using AI the way Reagan used the Arms buildup, as a strategy to bankrupt a Communist adversary. This is a long-term strategy, and the results will, likely, not be seen for years to come. --- Remember, the Berlin Wall did not fall until Reagan was out of office. --- I believe the Foreign Policy (which includes those in key positions having to do with Economics) have bought off on this strategy. ---- For instance, remember that Bessent worked with Soros in the past so his working with Trump was not an obvious decision. It indicated something deeper at work. ----- And this strategy is being executed with a subtle prudence which is evading the notice of the usual observers, ie, the media. Trump is not likely to declare, "The Singularity Begins In Five Minutes." Nor is he likely to call for Xi to "Tear Down The Great Wall of China".
Number 3 - The Iran War
Go back through old videos of Trump. This one is simple. He always thought the US was foolish not to have destroyed the Iranian Regime. And he declared repeatedly that, if he were President, the regime would disappear.
That's it.
I could be wrong. I have been wrong about a lot of things. But that's what I believe we are seeing.

All of the energy traders, speculators et al, now have to cope with Russian diesel being shipped at lower prices than their speculative manipulation. Trump and Putin are working around the system. The reality is that ‘western market prices’ are not an outcome of supply, demand or even availability or production capacity. Western market prices are determined by speculators, traders and regional benchmarks created by “independent agencies.” Remember those pesky housing loan bond rating agencies, Standard and Poor’s and/or Moody’s during the lead-in to the 2008 financial crisis. That type of rating ‘independence’ is akin to the benchmarks of these regional independent agencies within the energy markets; which is to say, they are not independent at all – they are part of the manipulated western financial system that determines ‘market pricing’. Behind that curtain are the traders, speculators, ideological banks and financial systems who create the finance system for the energy market. Want to stop oil exploitation, change the lending requirements to favor windmills and solar panels etc. Not coincidentally changing these lending rules and regulations was Mark Carney’s former job. Years before I worked at MSFT (via Yammer), I had an interview for Bing where they flew me out and did the whole day interview, which I did really well at - but in the end didn't get hired. The recruiter soon left and stayed in touch - she told me that what had really happened was that in order to hire an H1-B candidate they had to interview several Americans to check the boxes that they tried to hire American but couldn't find anyone. So, I was brought out to interview just to check a box for an H1-B candidate who had a connection with someone on the team who was trying to bring them over from India. That was about 20 years ago now - this stuff has done nothing but increase since then.

With just 28 days remaining until he faces off against Republican candidate Ken Paxton, Democrat James Talarico is nowhere to be found.Talarico has not been seen publicly in Texas in over a week, with his last appearance occurring on Saturday, September 26, before he took a fundraising trip to New York City. There, he was treated to a VIP fundraising dinner where attendees, like a filmmaker who labeled America a "shithole" and a group that advocates for child sex change surgeries, were charged $27,000 a plate.

During the appearance, Talarico claimed that he was forced to seek care at an urgent care clinic in Dallas, but social media users have disputed the timeline offered by the candidate.
Then, on Friday, October 2, the Talarico campaign chose to recycle footage from a February 22 rally before Talarico had even won the Democrat nomination, and tried to pass it off as current.
Next, his campaign cancelled an event slated for October 5 with the Central Texas African American Civic Engagement Symposium. The campaign has offered no explanation as to why the event was suddenly canned.

Michigan Senate candidate Abdul El-Sayed told a Detroit audience in 2016 that he has "dual citizenship" in the United States and Egypt, according to previously unreported video. It's the second time he's been documented making the claim, even though his campaign now claims he was never a dual citizen.El-Sayed made the remark about his dual citizenship onstage at a GlobeMed conference in Detroit, where the far-left Democrat served as the city's health director at the time.
"I carry dual citizenship, and I grew up spending most of my summers in another country where I understood what it meant not to have the right to self-govern," said El-Sayed, whose parents emigrated from Egypt to the Detroit area in 1978.
El-Sayed went on to tell a story, one he still tells on the campaign trail a decade later, that he was questioned by Egyptian police during one of those summer visits for publicly cursing Hosni Mubarak, Egypt's president at the time.
The newly revealed 2016 video marks at least the second time El-Sayed has publicly claimed to have Egyptian status. His academic résumé stated in 2014 that he was a citizen of the United States and Egypt, the Washington Free Beacon previously reported.
El-Sayed's campaign told the Free Beacon, which reported in January on the dual citizenship claim made on his résumé, that El-Sayed was mistaken about his citizenship status.

But I guess importing non-assimilating rapists is a small price to pay for… everything else Labour is doing to break Britain.
