TOTAL CORRUPTION: Two Minnesota Muslim Women Arrested In Massive $21 Million Autism Program Scam — Taxpayer Cash Sent Overseas!
The Department of Homeland Security’s Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) has arrested two Muslim women in Minnesota for defrauding American taxpayers of more than $21 million through a brazen scheme targeting the state’s autism services program.
Shamso Ahmed Hassan, 55, and Hanaan Mursal Yusuf, 25, both of Brooklyn Park, were taken into custody by HSI agents. Federal prosecutors say the pair submitted $46.6 million in fraudulent claims to Minnesota’s Early Intensive Developmental and Behavioral Intervention (EIDBI) program — a Medicaid-funded service for children with autism — and pocketed approximately $21.1 million in taxpayer money for services that were never provided.
According to the DHS statement and indictment:
- Hassan was a beneficial owner of Smart Therapy Center LLC and Star Autism Center LLC but hid her ownership interests from Minnesota regulators as required.
- Yusuf worked as a provider and was heavily involved in operations and submitting claims.
- They paid illegal kickbacks to parents to enroll children.
- They billed for services that were never rendered, for children who didn’t qualify, and disguised the kickbacks by routing money through family members and employees — with some funds sent overseas.
- The scheme ran from at least May 2020 through December 2024.
“These Minnesota residents have been accused of stealing more than $21 million from the American taxpayer,” said Acting Assistant Secretary Lauren Bis.

The owner of a heavily decorated pro-Trump home in Southern California has died days after he was beaten to a pulp allegedly by a Navy veteran.
Kerry Sheron, a 69-year-old Army veteran known locally for covering his residence with MAGA banners and American flags, died Sunday night after nearly a week hospitalized in critical condition.
The attack happened May 20 outside Sheron's home in Escondido, police said.
Prosecutors allege 32-year-old Thomas Caleb Butler attacked Sheron in what officials described as an unprovoked assault.Butler, who has been described in local reports as a Navy veteran, has pleaded not guilty to charges including attempted murder, elder abuse, criminal threats and battery.
"It was a single punch to the jaw," Garcia said. "The victim then falls to the floor, and there are subsequent hits to the victim's head area."
Security footage obtained by local media allegedly showed Sheron standing outside his Buchanan Street home before the suspect approached and attacked him. A nearby witness reportedly attempted to intervene before the suspect fled the area on foot.

In the days before Sheron's death, his wife, Maria, gave an emotional update, telling reporters there was "no hope" for her husband as he remained hospitalized with devastating injuries.
She also said the family had been preparing for the worst after doctors warned that Sheron's condition had rapidly deteriorated due to severe head trauma.

Kristof’s decision to publish his Israeli-rape-dogs phantasmagoria, but it’s important to widen the lens and examine how this latest disgrace is part of a broad institutional failure inside and outside the media environment that produced it.
It has become common to point out the Times’ hypocrisy here by noting that when its opinion section published an op-ed by Sen. Tom Cotton calling for the tougher policing of riots, the Times unraveled: Opinion Editor James Bennet was pushed out, as were Bari Weiss and Adam Rubenstein.
But this purge was more than just a demonstration of elite fragility. It ensured that an ideological monolith would serve as the gatekeepers of future articles. The years that followed October 7 demonstrated how this would apply to anything Israel-related: accusations were published first and investigated later, if at all. Kristof’s article was an escalation in the war on truth, not an innovation.
The Times retains a ton of influence over other publications in the same ideological sphere, which includes much of American and British corporate-left media. So the institutional rot isn’t limited to the Times; it seeps into media practices on a much wider scale.
Kristof’s article represents the entry of this particular libel into mainstream discourse after months of confinement to the fringes. Now it won’t require anyone else to “report” it to keep it in the news ecosystem. One needs only to reference the New York Times or the scandal Kristof’s claims have kicked off, and voila: Lots of people in establishment media spaces are suddenly talking about imaginary Israeli monster dogs.

Rep. Chip Roy introduced the Inhibiting Militant Adversarial Mullahs (IMAM) Act on Monday, which would bar radicalized leaders of certain religious denominations from being admitted into the United States.
“The United States should never roll out the red carpet for foreign clerics who preach anti-American hatred, celebrate terrorism, or serve as mouthpieces for radical regimes,” the Texas Republican told the Daily Signal in a statement.
If passed, the simple two-page bill would amend Section 101(a)(15)(R) of the immigration code to prevent nonimmigrant religious worker visas for “an alien with the title of Imam, Grand Imam, Shaykha, Mufti, Grand Mufti, Ayatollah or Grand Ayatollah from entering the United States.”

Ilhan Omar Knew About $250 Million Somali Fraud Scheme, Convicted Mastermind Claims in Explosive Jailhouse Interview
Aimee Bock, the convicted mastermind behind the massive $250 million Feeding Our Future COVID meal fraud scandal, has dropped a bombshell from jail, saying she believes Rep. Ilhan Omar knew exactly what was going on and actively helped keep the fraudulent program alive.
Bock, the founder of Feeding Our Future, spoke to the New York Post this week from Sherburne County Jail, where she is awaiting sentencing after her March 2025 conviction on conspiracy, bribery, and wire fraud charges.
Dozens of individuals, mostly from Minnesota’s Somali community, have been convicted in the scheme that fraudulently billed the federal government for tens of millions of meals that were never served to low-income children during the pandemic.
“I struggle to believe that she wouldn’t have known,” Bock said of Omar.
Bock alleged that Omar’s office repeatedly stepped in to help secure and extend USDA waivers that dramatically loosened oversight of the child nutrition programs.
Those waivers eliminated the requirement for site inspections and allowed restaurants and other non-school entities to participate, opening the floodgates to massive fraud.
Omar personally introduced the Maintaining Essential Access to Lunch for Students (MEALS) Act in March 2020, which gave the USDA authority to issue those waivers during the pandemic.
Bock claimed there were multiple gaps when waivers were set to expire, and Omar’s office helped bridge them so the fraudulent billing could continue uninterrupted.
“There had been a couple times early on that there were some gaps – a waiver would be set to expire on maybe the 15th of a month, and then the renewal didn’t kick in until the 1st,” Bock told the paper. “Because of course this was supposed to be a short-term thing . . . we were supposed to be home for two weeks.”
Omar’s name appeared at least six times in emails and text messages entered as evidence during Bock’s federal trial.
“A lot of the sites were working directly with her, being that a lot of the operators were from the same Somali community,” Bock said. “There were a lot of people that had been reaching out to her office and staff — and I presume her personally — to work through some of those gaps with the waivers.”
The congresswoman herself filmed a promotional video in May 2020 at the Safari Restaurant in Minneapolis, a key site in the fraud.
In the video, Omar claimed the restaurant was providing 2,300 meals a day to children and families.

A former inspector general who fast-tracked a "whistleblower" complaint that led to the first impeachment of President Trump in 2019 knew the whistleblower was a registered Democrat and Joe Biden loyalist yet still determined his complaint was "a matter of urgent concern that appeared credible," according to newly declassified documents.
The documents also reveal the anonymous whistleblower secretly met with the Democratic staff of former House Intelligence Committee Chairman Adam Schiff prior to submitting his complaint in August 2019.
Yet under direct questioning, the whistleblower -- later identified by RealClearInvestigations as intelligence analyst Eric Ciaramella -- failed to disclose those contacts in interviews with IG investigators or on whistleblower forms, according to more than 350 pages of intel briefings Schiff classified as secret and locked up in a Capitol vault.
House Intelligence Committee Chairman Rick Crawford released the papers Monday morning after National Intelligence Director Tulsi Gabbard declassified them late last week. Justice Department insiders say the documents factor into an ongoing grand jury investigation into an alleged "grand conspiracy" by former Obama and Biden officials to illegally target Trump in political espionage activities.
Nonetheless, IG Michael Atkinson, then the intelligence community's top watchdog, did not question the whistleblower's political motivations, truthfulness or credibility.
