New York Times Interviews Brifitte Gabriel: Titles Article "The Crusader"

A very insulting interview with Brigitte Gabriel From NYT:

Q: As a Lebanese-Christian immigrant who spent her girlhood amid the bloody devastation of the Lebanese civil war, you have lately emerged as one of the most vehement critics of radical Islam in this country. Are you concerned that your new book, “They Must Be Stopped,” will feed animosity toward Muslims?

A: I do not think I am feeding animosity. I am bringing an issue to light. I disapprove of any religion that calls for the killing of other people. If Christianity called for that, I would condemn it.

Q: What about all the moderate Muslims who represent our hope for the future? Why don’t you write about them?

A: The moderate Muslims at this point are truly irrelevant. I grew up in the Paris of the Middle East, and because we refused to read the writing on the wall, we lost our country to Hezbollah and the radicals who are now controlling it.

Q: In your new book, you write about the Muslim presence in America and bemoan the rise of Islamic day schools and jihad summer camp. Is there really such a thing?

A: Yes. Instead of taking lessons on swimming and gymnastics, the kids are listening to speakers give lectures titled “Preparation for Death” and “The Life in the Grave.”

Q: Are your parents still in Lebanon?

A: I became an orphan at the age of 23. Both my parents are buried in Israel, on Mount Zion, with Oskar Schindler.

Q Why did you bury them in Israel?

A: I wanted to honor my parents. After all, it is the Holy Land. And I wanted to ensure that both my children will know where my loyalty lies — with Israel, because Israel for me represents democracy, respect and human rights, something that no other country in the Arabic world offers.

Q: Are you an agent of the U.S. government?

A: No.

Q: Are you underwritten by the C.I.A.?

A: No. Are you kidding? In 2000, I voted for Al Gore.

Q: Where do you live? (What the fuck? Do they want her address?)

A: I do not share that information because of the death threats I receive.

Q: Threats from anyone we know? (I'm guessing the NYT does, indeed, know Al Qaeda very well. They're probably embedded with them at this very moment)

A: Al Qaeda mentioned my name on their top Internet sites and recently sent a press release about my work.

Q: If you are worried about death threats, why would you put a glamorous photograph of yourself on the cover of your new book?

A: In Lebanon, we were raised to be glamorous, feminine and sensual. It’s the only good thing we inherited from the French.

Friggin' amazing. The New York Times has, once again, proven itself to be an enemy of freedom. Apparently, they object to Gabriel being glamorous.

Jesus Christ, deliver us from these enemies.

Thank God for the blogs....

Pastorius - I had the opportunity to watch the opening of the Beijing Olympics----
Knowing (from Chinese friends ) that the Christians were gaining numbers (under-ground as well as state churches) I looked for Goya - like "hidden messages"----saw them :-)

Maybe no one else did but they were plain to me....
They do love the U.S.

I'll never give up-We will save this - greatest country on earth!

Christian Soldier,
I support Christian Missionaries in China, but I don't know about "Goya".

Also, are you saying you believe China is the greatest nation no Earth? If so, you and I have some big disagreements there. I believe Confucianism and Buddhism have gutted the human will in those countries.

We were made in the Image of God, that means we were made to have free will and creativity.

Buddhism teaches the denial of desire, which is the beginning of will. Confucianism teaches that the masses should bow down to authority.

Are you aware of this stuff?

Natasha,
As a man, I believe we ought to respect women's boundaries, but other than that, you and I are going to have to disagree on that.

We are, at bottom, animals (though I believe we were given Laws by God so that we can rise above the animalistic). As animals, women raise their asses into the air, and men dig it. That's how we attract each other.

It's natural. You ought to try it out some time.

Pastorius,

The New York Times lives in a liberal dream world.

Compare that interview to THIS ONE. I have a four letter word denoting MS Solomon's major characteristic.

I can't even remember the last time it occurred to me in a natural away, however, it is apt for this feminine moron, devoid of any objective means to perform her profession

I love glamour.

Christian Soldier,
Thanks for clarifying. I appreciate it.

Certainly, China has a lot going for it. It has been a rather inventive country and ingenious at stealing other people's intellectual property.

pastorius: ie;.."stealing ...intellectual property."..you've go that right -plus-

Certain officials ..including US presidents (the C word comes to mind) "selling" technical including military where - with -all- to the Chi-Coms (sp).........

Why innovate when you can eliminate half your popultion, steal other people's ideas, and then keep all the money for the Communist ruling oligarchy?

If she was an anonymous authoress (for security reasons) then the «problem», I bet, would be with the anonimity.

Pastorius said...

I believe that to be true. Certainly, one of the criticisms leveled at people like we who contribute here is that we are "Anonymous".

Obnoxious.
