That's a weird band. I wonder how Mingus and Monk would groove with Duane Allman and John Bonham.

Maybe it would work.
I don't know. Think about Mingus and Monk jamming along on Elizabeth Reed. Duane or Lowell George adding a slithering slide bit to Pork Pie Hat. It was late. I was drinking. Fun to think about, anyway, when the Jihad loons have your brain on overload.
In Memory of Elizabeth Reed would be fun to hear with all those musicians playing. That's for sure.
