As this blog reported, Bloomberg (not Mitt Romney who quoted them), stated last fall that Chrysler (i.e. Fiat) was going t be moving production overseas.

Obama called that a lie.

Yes, it’s passé to keep making fun of Mitt Romney. It is 2013. But when Chrysler released Jeep’s year-end sales figures, we couldn’t resist.

You may remember that in the dying days of Mitt Romney’s campaign, he started makingfalse claimsabout how President Obama’s auto bailout was responsible for shipping automobile jobs to overseas.

He told a crowd in Defiance, Ohio, on Oct. 25: “I saw a story today: One of the great manufacturers of this state, Jeep, now owned by the Italians, is thinking of moving all production to China.”

Chrysler to build Jeeps in China

Chrysler CEO Sergio Marchionne said the automaker plans to build some Jeepsin China for the local market — and later, in Russia.

“As part of our global expansion of theJeepbrand, there are some cars — that because of the price position in the market — can never be made in the U.S. and exported,” Marchionne told reporters on the sidelines of the North American International Auto Show. “We’re going to be announcing the first step in the globalization of Jeep (in China). There’s another one that’s going to come in Russia. These things are part of a natural process of expansion.”

Marchionne said he will keep “the pillar cars of the Jeep (brand) in the United States. Wrangler is one.

Chrysler stock and bond holders (who are suing the USA over it) were obliterated by an executive which catered a takeover of an american business by a foreign entity to the unions, and found, short of that suit, a placid reaction to their arrogating such powers to themselves in the taking of private property. Now the euchred public of the USA watches as the warning of Bloomberg, and Romney starts its own path to truth and reality.

And the left STILL IS CONNED, or are they willing participants to the deconstruction of american industry? Does it matter?
