Meanwhile TODAY Ted Cruz blames Trump in part for the Brussels attacks.
IMHO: NATO should be disbanded. Should have happened in the early 1990's when the Soviet Union ceased to be a threat to Western Europe. NATO's reason to exist ended at that point and should have been unwound.
Thanks to NATO, US is committed to "ally" Turkey. Think that won't blow up in our face?
Cruz has ZERO chance of winning the general. He is a stalking horse for a loss in 16 to be blamed on low turnout by 'Trump-humpers' who no longer 'belong' and will be heralded as a victory for 'movement conservatives' who will never understand why they find no support at all by the 2018 election
Apparently Cruz's people even tried to create a unity ticket with Marco Gang-of-Eight-Pro-Amnestry-Darling-of-the-GOPe Rubio. Rubio apparently rejected it.
Cruz is a snake. He's staying in just to make sure this thing goes to the convention where the GOPe can then choose whoever they want. During this process his reputation won't get hurt because after all "he never gave up fighting for conservatives...poor little defeaTED taking on the establishment."

I thought he said he wants other NATO countries to pitch in their fair share. I think he's right about that.

This morning on the news, I heard Cruz crowing about how Jeb Bush has endorsed him. "We're uniting all the wings of the GOP against Donald Trump."
Blah, blah, blah.
I used to like Ted Cruz. No more! He's caved to the GOP establishment and is no longer "an outsider."
