Wait. So it wasn't the Russians after all? It was The Obama Administration who through leaks and wiretaps and hacks (can't prove it but do you doubt it) tried to influence the election?
No?
Then produce the reason you used to petition the FISA court for the wiretap. It's on paper somewhere.
Of course we could always FOIA it. What were you specifically looking for. Who did you suspect of being an agent of a foreign power intent on espionage or acts of terrorism? And on what grounds?
Or was this just a fishing expedition? Or maybe hoping when this would get out later to be used as a smear on Team Trump that they were being looked at for this? Setting up background for the whole Russian influence bullshit story.
Which also makes me wonder, about those leaks... Are you guys still bugging the rooms the meetings are held in? The Oval office itself maybe? Have the NSA listening through cellphones (oh yes they can)?
We have a previous administration in cahoots with current Congressmen actively working to undermine and bring down the current President, his administration and possibly the nation itself.
Strange days and interesting times.

Now to determine which one signed off the warrant
The Guardian (Julian Borger) Dated Wednesday January 11th, 2016:
The Guardian has learned that the FBI applied for a warrant from the foreign intelligence surveillance (Fisa) court over the summer in order to monitor four members of the Trump team suspected of irregular contacts with Russian officials. The Fisa court turned down the application asking FBI counter-intelligence investigators to narrow its focus. According to one report, the FBI was finally granted a warrant in October, but that has not been confirmed, and it is not clear whether any warrant led to a full investigation.
GREAT POST, MR.
May be interesting times, but this is not the US in which I arrived and lived for decades.
