Dhimmi priests in Belgium turn their own churches into mosques

It's not just the US that's got problems with illegal immigrants, which, you can be sure, include more than enough Muslims with potential terrorists. Even in Europe, specifically in Belgium, they've got the problem of churches whose managers identify with the far left, who're providing sanctuary for illegal aliens, among them plenty of Muslims. Much of this has what to do with government corruption, of course, as the following also tells:
UDEP spokesman Ali Guissé, an African immigrant, says the church occupations were boosted by Patrick Dewael, the Belgian Interior Minister. Guissé was an illegal immigrant himself until very recently. He led the group of 118 sans-papiers that occupied the Saint Boniface Church in Elsene last October. Last month Minister Dewael offered 60 of them, including Guissé, permanent residence permits “for humanitarian reasons” because they had gone on hungerstrike. According to Guissé many sans-papiers now think that the way to get their situation “regularised” is by occupying a church and threatening to go on hungerstrike. “Indirectly the minister encourages the occupation of churches and the hungerstrikes,” Ali Guissé told Het Laatste Nieuws, Belgium’s largest paper, today. He said:

I am living proof [of the fact that our actions can be succesful]. Last October I started with the occupation of the Saint Boniface Church in Elsene, where the first sans-papiers went on hungerstrike. Minister Dewael regularised the situation of 60 occupants of the church last April, including mine. The thousands of sans-papiers, who have since followed our example, are very well aware of this.

Ali Bouchrouk, an Algerian who has a residency permit but whose wife does not, told the American weekly National Catholic Reporter that the strategy of the sans-papiers is simple:

We are in a Catholic country, thus we occupy churches. If we were in Algeria, we would occupy mosques.
Somehow, I doubt it would be that neccasary for an illegal immigrant of a Muslim background to take refuge at a mosque, because in Muslim Algeria, people Bouchrouk's standing would be fully welcome on those grounds. For non-Muslim dhimmis, however, the status would be completely different, and they would probably have to pay jizya as well in order to survive, assuming they aren't turned into slaves.

forrest:

well, we are Catholics because we believe in Catholic Church. Popes commit errors? Yes, they are humans just like you and me. Is there any secular people in Europe -I mean, politicians- who have spoken about Muslims the way Benedict has spoken? Let me see...except the Danish Queen, NO, at least NOT in Spain. That is, for not talking about religious leaders: Dalai Lama, Protestant, Orthodoc Alexei from Russia, etc. all have been or just cowards, or in the case of Alexei, just supporting Hamas and Iran, STATING "they have common values".

For my part I do not agree with Pastorius about Benedict in one of his posts a little later. Talking of reciprocity is the main issue here. If Western Governments would ask for reciprocity or expell people who are not fulfilling laws here, every problem that we have would be solved. Because either religious minorities in those countries will be totally free to believe in whatever they want, to build temples and to go to religion's classes. Or the un-adapted inmigrants will go to their country of origin -the solution most of them will adopt-.

Anyway, it's curious that someone as fatalist as you demands why we are Catholics. For you, should be good news as you can fulfil your predictions about the End of the World and the Fall of Heaven.

By the way, I do not mean to insult you, just in case. ;)
