Storm Track Disinformation: Joke of the Week

Security spokesman for Microsoft, the Bastogne of computer security (HA!!), criticized our attempts at securing our nation from terrorism.

"The endless security measures imposed on society as a result of the "war on terror" have become overblown and intrusive, according to Microsoft Redmond senior security analyst Steve Riley.

Of course we should all listen to Microsoft who has single-handly with their sloppy code allowed writers of malicious code to infiltrate hundreds of millions of computers around the world. Microsoft is known for having security holes in their software big enough to drive hummer through.

He made the comments in a talk at day one of Tech.Ed Australia about software security. Riley also fessed up that Microsoft cocked up XP from a security perspective. "We let you down with XP," he said.

Stick with writing your bloated code, Microsoft, and stay out of the adult sandbox.
