Israel donates Cobra helos to Jordan to combat the Islamic State
Israel has given its surplus Bell AH-1 Cobra attack helicopters to Jordan to bolster its neighbour’s defence against the Islamic State, the Reuters news agency reported on 23 July.
Approximately 16 AH-1E/F Cobras that were retired from the Israeli Air Force in 2013 were refurbished and handed over to Jordan in 2014 in a deal that was approved by the United States.
The Royal Jordanian Air Force already fields 12 AH-1F helicopters, which are operated by 10 and 12 Squadron out of Zarqa, northeast of the capital, Amman. The ex-Israeli Cobras will join those already in service protecting Jordan’s borders with Syria and Iraq against possible incursions by Islamic State fighters.So Israel, KSA, and UAE speak with one voice on Iran, and now Israel is helping other new friends with the war against the undead.
We should all congratulate Barack Obama for achieving the impossible.
Who knows, maybe in our lifetime we will see the Egyptian army and the IDF under one flag roll into Qom and Tehran because B Obama‘s stubborn naive evil mind operated without a single clue based in the reality of the world and its humans
