Unfortunately, by this time, the crew that recorded Trout Mask Replica was gone.
There is virtually no record of their existence. Bill Harkleroad, Jeff Cotton, Mark Boston, and John French (and Victor Hayden). The most unique band in the history of Rock & Roll. I love that album, I listen to it once a year straight through. Damn there was some great shit went on in the Sixties!

It really is amazing. Later on, you could hear influence in the Minutemen, Talking Heads, and some Punk/New Wave bands, but no one has come from the place he came from.

This band consists in part of two original MOI: Elliot Ingbar and Roy Estrada. My mistake: Bill Harkleroad is still here, he is the 6' 5" guitarist to the right. Not sure who the drummer is. Love this music.

Actually, I should also add James Blood Ulmer, Defunkt, and this Jazz dude named, of all things, Michael Gregory Jackson.

I can't find the Michael Gregory Jackson stuff, but here's James Blood Ulmer

Still, that's much more tame than Captain Beefheart.
